Conditions for synthesizing acicular fine particles of goethite with high aspect ratio were devised by oxidizing mixed slurry comprising ferrous carbonate and hydroxide after neutralizing by alkali carbonate. By bubbling N2 after neutralization into the slurry containing FeCO3 and Fe(OH)2, dissolved CO2 is ejected. As a consequence, the relative concentration of CO32− decreases and that of hydroxide increases. These favor the increase of the aspect ratio of the goethite particles via two factors, i.e., (1) decrease in the critical size of the nuclei and (2) suppression of growth inhibition at the tip of needle-like particles due to CO32− adsorption. We propose a reaction scheme for the entire processing.  相似文献

Dinuclear triply chloro‐bridged iridium(III) complexes bearing chiral diphosphine ligands catalyze the asymmetric hydrogenation of tosylamido‐substituted pyrazines to give the corresponding chiral tetrahydropyrazines with an amidine skeleton in high yield and with high enantioselectivity. Addition of N,N‐dimethylanilinium bromide enhanced the catalytic activity of the iridium complexes and also increased the enantioselectivity of the products by trapping the hydrogenated amine products with HBr from N,N‐dimethylanilinium bromide. The amidine skeleton of the products could be transformed to give chiral piperazinones and piperazines without loss of enantioselectivity.

Achieving the direct growth of an ultrathin gate insulator with high uniformity and high quality on monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) remains a challenge due to the chemically inert surface of TMDCs. Although the main solution for this challenge is utilizing buffer layers before oxide is deposited on the atomic layer, this method drastically degrades the total capacitance of the gate stack. In this work, we constructed a novel direct high-κ Er2O3 deposition system based on thermal evaporation in a differential-pressure-type chamber. A uniform Er2O3 layer with an equivalent oxide thickness of 1.1 nm was achieved as the gate insulator for top-gated MoS2 field-effect transistors (FETs). The top gate Er2O3 insulator without the buffer layer on MoS2 exhibited a high dielectric constant that reached 18.0, which is comparable to that of bulk Er2O3 and is the highest among thin insulators (< 10 nm) on TMDCs to date. Furthermore, the Er2O3/MoS2 interface (Dit ≈ 6 × 1011 cm−2 eV−1) is confirmed to be clean and is comparable with that of the h-BN/MoS2 heterostructure. These results prove that high-quality dielectric properties with retained interface quality can be achieved by this novel deposition technique, facilitating the future development of 2D electronics.  相似文献

The mechanical reliability of products must be assured for scaling up and production of complex-shaped components by spark plasma sintering (SPS) of spray-dried granules. The evolution of morphologies of pores and defects, which control the mechanical strength, is investigated by using synchrotron X-ray multiscale tomography during SPS of alumina granules at 1300 °C. While large defects arising from the hierarchical granule packing structure cannot be removed by pressureless sintering, crack-like defects and branched rodlike defects are almost eliminated by SPS at stresses higher than 30 and 50 MPa, respectively. But, small ellipsoidal porous regions, which may arise from aggregates or dimples of granules, cannot be removed even at a pressure of 50 MPa. A very large defect is also found by using micro-CT. It is supposed that this defect is formed from a large void in loosely packed granules. The shrinkage of large voids and the elimination of crack-like defects are explained by the theoretical prediction based on the continuum theory of sintering.  相似文献

Both viable and non-viable orally administered Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus CRL1505 modulate immunity in local (intestine) and distal (respiratory) mucosal sites. So, intestinal adhesion and colonization are not necessary for this probiotic strain to exert its immunomodulatory effects. In this work, a mucus-binding factor knockout CRL1505 strain (ΔmbfCRL1505) was obtained and the lack of binding ability to both intestinal epithelial cells and mucin was demonstrated in vitro. In addition, two sets of in vivo experiments in 6-week-old Balb/c mice were performed to evaluate ΔmbfCRL1505 immunomodulatory activities. (A) Orally administered ΔmbfCRL1505 prior to intraperitoneal injection of the Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) agonist poly(I:C) significantly reduced intraepithelial lymphocytes (CD3+NK1.1+CD8αα+) and pro-inflammatory mediators (TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-15) in the intestinal mucosa. (B) Orally administered ΔmbfCRL1505 prior to nasal stimulation with poly(I:C) significantly decreased the levels of the biochemical markers of lung tissue damage. In addition, reduced recruitment of neutrophils and levels of pro-inflammatory mediators (TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-8) as well as increased IFN-β and IFN-γ in the respiratory mucosa were observed in ΔmbfCRL1505-treated mice when compared to untreated control mice. The immunological changes induced by the ΔmbfCRL1505 strain were not different from those observed for the wild-type CRL1505 strain. Although it is generally accepted that the expression of adhesion factors is necessary for immunobiotics to induce their beneficial effects, it was demonstrated here that the mbf protein is not required for L. rhamnosus CRL1505 to exert its immunomodulatory activities in local and distal mucosal sites. These results are a step forward towards understanding the mechanisms involved in the immunomodulatory capabilities of L. rhamnosus CRL1505.  相似文献

The pH on the surface of an ion-exchange membrane was measured with a microprobe in a laboratory scale chlor-alkali cell to study the leakage of OH through the membrane. The solution pH in the vicinity of the membrane facing the anode was found to be considerably higher than that in the bulk solution because of penetration and leakage of OH. The pH varied with the membrane type. This explains why the carboxylate membrane is not protonated and can be used as a separator in chlor-alkali cells.Deceased.  相似文献

A fast three-dimensional scanning irradiation method is under development at the Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator in Chiba (HIMAC) as the next stage of heavy ion cancer therapy. This method requires highly accurate control of the beam size, energy, and intensity. To improve the accelerated beam’s quality, a new scheme for the synchrotron RF system has been developed. The new system adopts a periodic time clock system (T-clock) instead of an ordinary B-clock system. The new T-clock system is synchronized with a power line frequency of 50 Hz for synchronization with the synchrotron power supply. An ordinary B-clock system results in error pulses owing to the small analog signal of the magnetic field of the main dipole magnet, and the errors cause dipole oscillation of the beam in the RF bucket. Using the new T-clock generator at 192 kHz, we have observed an improvement in the acceleration efficiency and bunch shape compared to the B-clock generator.  相似文献

Amorphous hydrogenated carbon (a-C:H) films have many excellent properties such as biocompatibility, anti-corrosion, and chemical stability. Therefore, there are many reports on application of a-C:H film as surface modification technique for biomaterials. However, it is difficult to deposit a-C:H film on complex structures such as artificial heart blood pump and synthetic vascular grafts. In our previous work, we have developed an electrode which is adapted to such irregular structures for plasma CVD technique.In this study, a-C:H film was deposited on a synthetic vascular graft inner-wall by r.f. plasma CVD technique with cylindrical electrode. The purpose of such coating is improvement of biocompatibility of the vascular graft. The biocompatibility of the a-C:H film was evaluated by cytocompatibility and plasma protein adhesion. For the a-C:H film deposition, cytocompatibility and protein adsorbent of the vascular grafts were improved for biological response under cell culture with mouth fibroblasts and plasma proteins (albumin, fibrinogen, and globulin), respectively. This study indicates that the a-C:H films coatings is expected to surface modification for medical appliances.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new force sensorless robust tracking servo system, which detects and suppresses both the periodic disturbance and the sudden disturbance without force sensor. The proposed system estimates both the periodic disturbance and the sudden disturbance and the sudden disturbance by using a new sudden disturbance observer and the memory of tracking error. In the proposed system, the influence of sudden disturbance is suppressed by the proposed sudden disturbance observer. On the other hand, the influence of periodic disturbance is suppressed by means of ZPET feed‐forward servo system. The experimental results point out that the proposed tracking servo system has a precise tracking response against both the periodic disturbance and the sudden disturbance. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. For the first time, it is demonstrated that in flash-type EEPROMs, the endurance properties are dramatically improved by heavy oxynitridation (RTONO) of the tunnel oxide. The layer composition evaluated by SIMS measurement indicates that large amounts of N atoms (>10/sup 20/ atom/cm/sup 3/) pile up at the SiO/sub 2/-Si interface, and are distributed in the bulk SiO/sub 2/. In addition, the RTONO film reduces the number of hydrogen atoms, which are the origin of electron traps. This oxynitridation causes a decrease of both electron and hole traps in the tunnel oxide, resulting in an improvement of the threshold voltage narrowing.<>  相似文献
