We examined the difference in the detection limits of flaws in the depths of multi-layered and continuous aluminum plates using low-frequency eddy current testing. The detection limits were measured by using a magneto-resistive sensor. Comparing the frequency of an applied magnetic field, the detection limit at 50 Hz is deeper than that at 1 kHz. Comparing the sample structure, the detection limit in the multi-layered samples is deeper than that in the continuous samples. These results are likely due to the differences in the skin depth and conductivity of the sample. 相似文献

We disclose herein an efficient enantioselective conjugate addition reaction between coumarin‐3‐carboxylic acids and malonic acid half thioesters (MAHTs). The reaction was catalyzed by N‐heteroarenesulfonyl Cinchona alkaloid amides to afford double‐decarboxylative conjugate addition products in good yield with high enantioselectivity. The reaction of various coumarin‐3‐carboxylic acids with MAHTs gave products in high yield with high enantioselectivity.

The d.c. conductivity (σ) of V2O5-SnO-TeO2 glasses prepared by the press-quenching method was studied at temperatures from room temperature (RT) to 473 K, and the effect
of annealing on σ was investigated. The conductivity of 50V2O5·20SnO·30TeO2 glass was determined to be 3.98×10−4 Scm−1 at 473 K and was unchanged for annealing (6–48 h) at 493 K, lower than Tg = 501 K, while its density increased with annealing time. These glasses were found to be n-type semiconductors, and the conduction
was confirmed to be due to adiabatic small polaron hopping for V2O5 ≧ 50 mol%, and non-adiabatic for V2O5 < 50 mol%. The activation energy for conduction, W, decreased with annealing time. Variations in oxygen molar volume of the glasses with annealing time inferred a change in
glass structure, from loosely to closely packed, resulting in a decrease in vanadium ion spacing with annealing. This caused

A series of cis-restricted combretastatin analogues with 5-membered heterocycles were synthesized and their inhibitory activity against microtubule assembly and cytotoxic activity against the colon 26 adenocarcinoma cancer cell line were evaluated. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was performed to investigate thermodynamic properties of three carp fast skeletal light meromyosin (LMM) isoforms expressed in Escherichia coli by recombinant DNAs. Three isoforms were the 10 degreesC-, intermediate-, and 30 degreesC-type LMM predominantly expressed in carp acclimated to 10, 20, and 30 degreesC. The isoforms expressed in E. coli by recombinant DNAs exhibited a typical pattern of alpha-helix in CD spectroscopy with two minima at 222 and 208 nm. Moreover, the three isoforms formed paracrystals typical of LMM, suggesting that expressed proteins retained intact structural properties. When the LMM isoforms were subjected to DSC analysis, the 10 degreesC and 30 degreesC types showed endotherms having transition temperatures (Tm) at 35.1 and 39.5 degreesC, respectively, which are responsible for thermal unfolding of alpha-helix. The intermediate type exhibited two comparable endotherms with Tm values at 34.9 and 40.6 degreesC, implying that it has intermediate thermodynamic properties between those of 10 degreesC and 30 degreesC types. However, a chimeric LMM having the 10 degreesC and 30 degreesC type as N- and C-terminal halves, respectively, showed the DSC pattern typical of the whole 30 degreesC-type molecule. On the other hand, another chimeric LMM composed of the N-terminal 30 degreesC type and C-terminal 10 degreesC type gave the pattern of the full 10 degreesC type. The mobile multi-media applications require to lower the operating voltage of embedded SRAMs. The ECC circuit implementation for increasing soft-error and the access timing control that tracks access delay fluctuation in memory core should be considered for the low-voltage operation. A hidden error-check-and-correction (HECC) scheme compensated the access time penalty caused by the ECC logic on the output critical path. And a multi-column ECC word assignment (MCE) increased the multi-bit-error immunity while using only 1-bit-correctable ECC which minimized area penalty. A source-level-adjusted direct sense amplifier (SLAD) and a write-replica circuit with an asymmetrical replica memory cell (WRAM) for the device-fluctuation-tolerant access control were also designed. A 130-nm CMOS 32-Kbit SRAM-macro was fabricated with these circuit techniques, which demonstrated: 1) 0.3-V operation with 6.8 MHz; 2) 30-MHz operation which is feasible for mobile use even at 0.4 V, while keeping 960MHz at 1.5 V; and 3) a reduction by 3.6/spl times/10/sup 5/ in soft-error rate compared with that of conventional ECC. 相似文献

We present a new enzymatic process for synthesis of l-theanine using glutaminase combined with immobilization technique on a mesoporous silica (MPS). The MPS was firstly attempted to modify with zirconia in order to enhance the durability against the reaction under high pH conditions. The glutaminase on the MPS successfully catalyzed the reaction for the synthesis of l-theanine. The glutaminase/MPS conjugate was subsequently recovered and employed for the reaction again. The conjugate showed the corresponding activity to the first synthesis. This indicates that the conjugate functions as a catalyst for synthesis of l-theanine, having the operational stability sufficient for reuse. 相似文献
