Oxide-dispersion-strengthened (ODS) steels are attractive materials for application as fuel cladding in fast reactors and first-wall material of fusion blanket. Recent studies have focused more on high-chromium ferritic (12–18 wt% Cr) ODS steels with attractive corrosion resistance properties. However, they have poor material workability, require complicated heat treatments for recrystallization, and possess anisotropic microstructures and mechanical properties. On the other hand, low-chromium ferritic/martensitic (8–9 wt% Cr) ODS steels have no such limitations; nonetheless, they have poor corrosion resistance properties. In our work, we developed a corrosion-resistant coating technique for a low-chromium ferritic/martensitic ODS steel. The ODS steel was coated with the 304 or 430 stainless steel, which has better corrosion resistances than the low-chromium ferritic/martensitic ODS steels. The 304 or 430 stainless steel was coated by changing the canning material from mild steel to stainless steel in the conventional material processing procedure for ODS steels. Microstructural observations and micro-hardness tests proved that the stainless steels were successfully coated without causing a deterioration in the mechanical property of the low-chromium ferritic/martensitic ODS steel.  相似文献

Thermal aging properties of reduced activation ferritic/martensitic steel F82H was researched. The aging was performed at temperature ranging from 400 °C to 650 °C up to 100,000 h. Microstructure, precipitates, tensile properties, and Charpy impact properties were carried out on aged materials. Laves phase was found at temperatures between 550 and 650 °C and M6C type carbides were found at the temperatures between 500 and 600 °C over 10,000 h. These precipitates caused degradation in toughness, especially at temperatures ranging from 550 °C to 650 °C. Tensile properties do not have serious aging effect, except for 650 °C, which caused large softening even after 10,000 h. Increase of precipitates also causes some degradation in ductility, but it is not critical. Large increase in ductile-to-brittle transition temperature was observed in the 650 °C aging. It was caused by the large Laves phase precipitation at grain boundary. Laves precipitates at grain boundary also degrades the upper-shelf energy of the aged materials. These aging test results indicate F82H can be used up to 30,000 h at 550 °C.  相似文献

We introduce a novel three-step procedure for precise niobium (Nb)-etching on the nanometer-scale, including the design of high contrast resist patterning and sacrifice layer formation under high radio frequency (RF) power. We present the results of precise slit fabrication using this technique and discuss its application for the production of superconducting devices, such as superconductor-semiconductor-superconductor (S-Sm-S) Josephson junctions. For the reactive ion etching (RIE) of Nb, we selected CF(4) as etchant gas and a positive tone resist to form the etching mask. We found that the combination of resist usage and RIE process allows for etching of thicker Nb layers when utilizing the opposite dependence of the etching rate (ER) on the CF(4) pressure in the case of Nb as compared to the resist. Precise slit-width control of 80 and 200 nm thick Nb apertures was performed with three kinds of ER control, for the resist, the Nb, and the underlying layer. S-Sm-S Josephson junctions were fabricated with lengths as small as 80 nm, which can be considered clean and short and thus exhibit critical currents as high as 50 μA. Moreover, possible further applications, such as for apertures of superconducting light emitting diodes (SC LEDs), are addressed.  相似文献

In this paper, the production of biodegradable plastics polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) by activated sludge treating municipal wastewater was investigated. The effect of three operational factors, i.e. the acetate concentration in influent, pH, and sludge retention time (SRT) were studied. Sludge acclimatized with municipal wastewater supplemented with acetate could accumulate PHA up to 30% of sludge dry weight, while sludge acclimatized with only municipal wastewater achieved 20% of sludge dry weight. It was found that activated sludge with an SRT of 3 days possessed better PHA production capability than sludge with an SRT of 10 days. Sludge acclimatized under pH 7 and 8 conditions in sequencing batch reactors (SBRs) exhibited similar PHA production capability. However, in PHA production batch experiments, pH value influenced significantly the PHA accumulation behavior of activated sludge. When pH of batch experiments was controlled at 6 or 7, a very low PHA production was observed. The production of PHA was stimulated when pH was kept at 8 or 9.  相似文献

To evaluate on a laboratory scale the influence of veterinary medicinal products (VMPs) excreted into feces on manure fermentation, we have developed an evaluation method that uses a small-scale composting apparatus. Each run is of approximately 3 kg scale and the operation can be conducted in an environmentally controlled laboratory. The main evaluation parameter is calorific value generated by aerobic fermentation. At the sulfadimethoxine (SDM) trial, the volume of CO(2) generated during fermentation and the disappearance of the inhibitory effect of immature manure on sprouting (using Komatsuna (Brassica rapa var. perviridis)) were measured. In addition, DNA of 16S rRNA was extracted from a manure sample and subjected to denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE). The results suggest that the presence of such VMPs in feces affected the microbial community in manure fermentation, and indicate that the evaluation method may be used as a standard method to evaluate the effect of VMPs on the microbial community. Using the method, we obtained data of the influence of five VMPs approved for stockbreeding in Japan on swine manure fermentation. Erythromycin (EM) affected the calorific value even at a relatively low concentration (105 mg/3 kg manure). In contrast, oxytetracycline hydrochloride (OTC), norfloxacin (NFLX), and tylosin tartrate (TS) had no effect at that concentration. These VMPs also affected the increase of fermentation temperature when added at high concentrations.  相似文献

Although many studies regarding nitrogen removal via nitrite have been carried out, very limited research has been undertaken on nitrogen removal via nitrite at low temperatures. In this study, to improve the nitrogen removal efficiency from municipal wastewater, a pilot-plant of sequencing batch reactor with a working volume of 54 m3 was used to investigate nitrogen removal via nitrite from municipal wastewater at normal and low water temperature. The obtained results showed that high nitrogen removal efficiency with effluent total nitrogen below 3 mg/L could be achieved. Using real-time control with temperature ranging from 11.9 to 26.5 degrees C under normal dissolved oxygen condition (> or =2.5 mg/L), nitrogen removal via nitrite was successfully and stably achieved for a long period (180 days) with average nitrite accumulation rate above 95%. Fluorescence in situ hybridization was carried out to investigate the quantitative changes of nitrifying microbial community in the activated sludge. Fluorescence in situ hybridization results approved that the nitrifying microbial communities were optimized; ammonia oxidizing bacteria became the dominant nitrifying bacteria and nitrite oxidizing bacteria had been washed out of the activated sludge.  相似文献

For the autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) used mainly in unfixed work fields, a machine vision method was proposed for the navigation system, in which a series of navigation-signs are placed along the travel route. The navigation system detects and recognizes these signs, and accordingly informs the travel control system. In order for the navigation to have balanced ability of 1) covering a large area and 2) recognizing details of the sign, the proposed vision method was designed to be a hybrid one, using both the stereo vision and the traditional 2D template matching. The former implemented a coarse recognition function for above 1), and the later implemented a fine recognition function for above 2). The results from the coarse recognition were used in the fine recognition for the gaze control to input suitable 2D image of the signs. Experiments on a prototype system show the feasibility of the proposed hybrid method in achieving the objective specifications for a typicalb AGV.  相似文献
