We propose a fast and effective technique to improve sub‐grid visual details of the grid based fluid simulation. Our method procedurally synthesizes the flow fields coming from the incompressible Navier‐Stokes solver and the vorticity fields generated by vortex particle method for sub‐grid turbulence. We are able to efficiently animate smoke which is highly turbulent and swirling with small scale details. Since this technique does not solve the linear system in high‐resolution grids, it can perform fluid simulation more rapidly. We can easily estimate the influence of turbulent and swirling effect to the fluid flow.  相似文献

On the basis of the rational analysis about the fluidic property of the system, an ultralow gas flow chemical vapor deposition (CVD) strategy was designed to prepare large-scale horizontally aligned ultralong single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) arrays. SWNT arrays could be well obtained under extremely low feeding flow of 1.5 sccm in a 1 in. quartz tube reactor. It was confirmed that the tubes grew floatingly and could cross microtrenches or climb over micro-obstacles in ultraslow gas flow. SWNTs arrays also could be formed no matter the substrate was placed vertically or upside down. The growth mechanism was discussed. Both the buoyancy effect induced by gas temperature/density difference and gas flow stability played dominant roles. More attractively, simultaneous batch-scale preparation of SWNT arrays was realized by the ultralow gas flow strategy. This new strategy turns to be more abstemious, efficient, promising, and flexible compared with the high gas flow rate fast-heating CVD processes.  相似文献

A binuclear aluminum complex with a chelating anilido-imine conjugated Schiff base ligand, 1,4-{o-C6H4[N(2,6-iPr2C6H3)][CH  N]Al(CH3)2}2C6H4 (3), was synthesized from the alkane elimination reaction of trimethylaluminum with the free ligand, 1,4-{o-C6H4[NH(2,6-iPr2C6H3)][CH  N]}2C6H4 (2), at room temperature. The photophysical properties of complex 3 were briefly examined and it was found that complex 3 displays bright orange luminescence in solution and in solid state. Electroluminescent devices were fabricated by doping complex 3 in polymer blend host of poly(vinylcarbazole) and 2-tert-butylphenyl-5-biphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol using simple solution spin-coating technique. Efficient orange light emission was obtained from the fabricated single-layer organic light-emitting devices with a maximum current efficiency of 3.2 cd/A.  相似文献

A superior drug controlled release system capable of achieving efficient osteogenesis is in imperative demand because of limited bone substitute tissue for the treatment of bone defect. In the present study, we investigated the potential of using poly(ε-caprolactone)–hydroxyapatite (PCL–HA) composite microspheres as an injectable bone repair vehicle by controlled release of alendronate (AL), a medicine that belongs to the bisphosphonates family. The PCL/HA–AL microspheres were prepared with solid/oil/water emulsion technique, which included two processes: (1) AL was loaded on the hydroxyapatite nanoparticles; (2) the HA–AL complex was built in the PCL matrix. The spherical PCL/HA–AL microspheres were characterized with its significantly improved encapsulation efficiency of hydrophilic AL and better sustained release. Human bone mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) were cultured on the surface of these microspheres and exhibited high proliferative profile. Specifically, in osteogenic medium, hMSCs on the surface of PCL/HA–AL microspheres displayed superior osteogenic differentiation which was verified by alkaline phosphatase activity assay. In conclusion, by presenting strong osteogenic commitment of hMSCs in vitro, the PCL/HA–AL microspheres have the potential to be used as an injectable vehicle for local therapy of bone defect.  相似文献
