The sales activity of most parts manufacturing companies is based on orders of buyers. The process of promotion, receipt and selection of orders of the parts manufacturers is closely coupled with the load status of the production lines. On deciding whether to accept an order or not, as well as negotiating with buyers, sales persons need information such as load and schedule of production lines, and manufacturability of the order. Manufacturability analysis, process planning, and scheduling are therefore key features in developing an agent of sales activity for the parts manufacturing business. In this paper, an intelligent agent, a virtual manufacturing-based sales agent (VMSA) with multi-agent architecture is proposed to support the sales activity for the parts manufacturers in the Internet environment. A VMSA has an integrated architecture of agent and virtual manufacturing. The complete 16S-23S rDNA internal transcribed spacer (ITS) was sequenced in 35 reference strains of the Mycobacterium avium complex. Twelve distinct ITS sequences were obtained, each of which defined a "sequevar"; a sequevar consists of the strain or strains which have a particular sequence. ITS sequences were identified which corresponded to M. avium (16 strains, four ITS sequevars) and Mycobacterium intracellulare (12 strains, one ITS sequevars). The other seven M. avium complex strains had ITS sequences which varied greatly from those of M. avium and M. intracellulare and from each other. The 16S-23S rDNA ITS was much more variable than 16S rDNA, which is widely used for genus and species identification. Phylogenetic trees based on the ITS were compatible with those based on 16S rDNA but were more detailed and had longer branches. The results of ITS sequencing were consistent with the results of hybridization with M. avium and M. intracellulare probes (Gen-Probe) for 30 of 31 strains tested. Serologic testing correlated poorly with ITS sequencing. Strains with the same sequence were different serovars, and those of the same serovar had different sequences. Sequencing of the 16S-23S rDNA ITS should be useful for species and strain differentiation for a wide variety of bacteria and should be applicable to studies of epidemiology, diagnosis, virulence, and taxonomy. 相似文献

This paper introduces a novel neurofuzzy system based on polynomial fuzzy neural network (PFNN) architecture. A PFNN consists
of a set of if-then rules with appropriate membership functions (MFs) whose parameters are optimized via a hybrid genetic
algorithm. A polynomial neural network is employed in the defuzzification scheme to improve output performance and to select
appropriate rules. A performance criterion for model selection is defined to overcome the overfitting problem in the modeling
procedure. For a performance assessment of the PFNN inference system, two well-known problems are employed for a comparison
with other methods. The results of these comparisons show that the PFNN inference system out-performs the other methods and
exhibits robustness characteristics.

Intelligent service robots provide various services to users by understanding the context and goals of a user task. In order to provide more reliable services, intelligent service robots need to consider various factors, such as their surrounding environments, users' changing needs, and constrained resources. To handle these factors, most of the intelligent service robots are controlled by a task‐based control system, which generates a task plan that represents a sequence of actions, and executes those actions by invoking the corresponding functions. However, the traditional task‐based control systems lack the consideration of resource factors even though intelligent service robots have limited resources (limited computational power, memory space, and network bandwidth). Moreover, system‐specific concerns such as the relationships among functional modules are not considered during the task generation phase. Without considering both the resource conditions and interdependencies among software modules as a whole, it will be difficult to efficiently manage the functionalities that are essential to provide core services to users. In this paper, we propose a mechanism for intelligent service robots to efficiently use their resources on‐demand by separating system‐specific information from task generation. We have defined a sub‐architecture that corresponds to each action of a task plan, and provides a way of using the limited resources by minimizing redundant software components and maintaining essential components for the current action. To support the optimization of resource consumption, we have developed a two‐phase optimization process, which is composed of the topological and temporal optimization steps. We have conducted an experiment with these mechanisms for an infotainment robot, and simulated the optimization process. Two new methods of activation were developed to graft enzymes on collegen films. They involved chemical modifications of surface groups of collagen either by Woodward's reagent "K" or by EDC, a water-soluble derivative of carbodiimide. EDC was a better coupling agent and a detailed study was conducted with this agent. It could be used either in a global method of activation and coupling, or in a two-step procedure of activation of collagen, followed by spontaneous coupling of enzyme. All enzymes tested were successfully bound: malate dehydrogenase, lactate dehydrogenase, aspartate aminotransferase, urease, creatine kinase, hexokinase. The influence on the yield of grafted enzyme, of pretreatment of films, time and temperature of EDC activation, concentration of EDC and enzyme, protecting agents was studied. Stability of enzyme activity on storage was greatly increased after grafting. A co-grafted dual system creatine kinase/heoxkinase, was achieved which exhibited a good efficiency. A striking renaturing process at 0-4degreesC after thermal denaturation, was observed with hexokinase. 相似文献

The PZT thick film cantilever devices fabricated via MEMS process have much attraction because they are appropriate for biological
transducer or sensor, resulting from their large actuating force and relatively high sensitivity especially in liquid. By
means of resonance behavior, theoretical calculation and experimental verification of the PZT thick film cantilever devices
have not been studied before. Accordingly, we focused on the sensitivity analysis and interpretation of the PZT thick film
cantilevers in this study. Especially, the investigation for mass sensitivity of the PZT thick film cantilever is of importance
for physical, chemical and biological sensing application. The PZT thick film cantilever devices were constructed on Pt/TiO2/SiN
X
/Si substrates using screen printing method and MEMS process. The harmonic oscillation response (resonance frequency) was
measured using an optical laser interferometric vibrometer. The effect of cantilever geometry on the resonance frequency change
was investigated. Compared with the theoretical resonant frequency change by mass loading, the experimental resonant frequency
change of the PZT micromechanical thick film cantilever shows a variation of less than 2%. Mass sensitivities are estimated

We have investigated the effect of low-molecular mass species on the space charge behavior such as space charge distribution and electrical conduction of LDPE (low density polyethylene). We also attempted to explain the relationship between the space charge distribution and electrical conduction. The heterocharge, conduction current and effective charge mobility decreased when the low-molecular-mass species in LDPE was removed. For most small manufacturing companies, the selection and completion of orders placed by buyers are closely linked to the load status of their production lines. The decision to accept an order, or the selection of optimal order set, critically depends on the production schedule when orders exceed production capacity. However, production scheduling is mainly performed by human experts, and small companies lack resources to implement such a task. As a result, most small manufacturers suffer from the difficulty to meet due dates or to make proper decision in accepting new orders. To address this problem, this paper develops an automatic agent that selects an optimal set of orders using commonly available Internet technology. The main engine of the selection agent is based on a typical job shop scheduling model, formulating and implementing it as an Integer Program (IP) model. We also translate IP into Genetic Algorithm (GA) to address its NP-hard problem. We conclude with a suggestion for an agent architecture that tackles Web-based order selection problems. 相似文献

The goal of this research was the creation of an adaptation mechanism for the delivery of three-dimensional content. The adaptation of content, for various network and terminal capabilities – as well as for different user preferences, is a key feature that needs to be investigated. Current state-of-the art research of the adaptation shows promising results for specific tasks and limited types of content, but is still not well-suited for massive heterogeneous environments. In this research, we present a method for transmitting adapted three-dimensional content to multiple target devices. This paper presents some theoretical and practical methods for adapting three-dimensional content, which includes shapes and animation.
