There are indications that some high temperature unconventional superconductors have a “complex” d-wave order parameter (with an admixture of s-wave) leading to nonzero energy gap. Since the coherence length is short and the Fermi energy is relatively small the quasiclassical approach is inapplicable and the more complicated Bogoliubov-deGennes equations should be used to investigate the excitation spectrum of such a material in a magneric field. It turns out that equations for the chiral d-wave superconductor simplify considerably and is the basis for any superconductor of that type with a sufficiently large gap. The spectrum of core excitations of the Abrikosov vortex in an anisotropic 3D sample exhibits several features. Unlike in conventional and gapless superconductors the core has a single excitation mode of order energetic gap for each value of momentum along the field. This has a large impact on thermal transport and vortex dynamics.  相似文献

A mathematical model has been developed for the oxidation kinetics of fish meal, based on assumptions of the theory of gas liquid reactions and the kinetics of homogeneous oxidation reactions. This foresees that if diffusional control exists for the oxygen, the observed reaction will be of the first order with respect to this component. The specific rate constant for the reaction will be a function of the interfacial area. The performance of the model was tested experimentally.  相似文献

  • This study investigated the attitudes toward social, economic, and environmental corporate responsibilities of 3064 current managers and business students in 8 European countries.
  • Participants in Western European countries had significantly different perspectives on the importance of these corporate responsibilities (CR) than those in Central and East European countries. Within each country, environmental CR is perceived as most important in both CEE and Western European countries. Across countries, Western European respondents accord more importance to social CR and less importance to economic CR. CEE countries are not homogenous, e.g., CR attitudes in the Czech Republic are closer to that of Western Europeans, possibly triggered by the accession to EU.
  • Work experience (managers vs. business students) influences social and environmental orientations more than the economic orientation for only some countries. Generational differences were found as well: Business students attribute more importance to environmental CR and less importance to social CR than managers.

Cucurbit[7]uril (CB[7]) is a molecular container that may form host–guest complexes with platinum(II) anticancer drugs and modulate their efficacy and safety. In this paper, we report our studies of the effect of CB[7]–oxaliplatin complex and the mixture of CB[7] and carboplatin (1:1) on viability and proliferation of a primary cell culture (peripheral blood mononuclear cells), two tumor cell lines (B16 and K562) and their activity in the animal model of melanoma. At the same time, we studied the impact of platinum (II) drugs with CB[7] on T cells and B cells in vitro. Although the stable CB[7]–carboplatin complex was not formed, the presence of cucurbit[7]uril affected the biological properties of carboplatin. In vivo, CB[7] increased the antitumor effect of carboplatin, but, at the same time, increased its acute toxicity. Compared to free oxaliplatin, its complex with CB[7] shows a greater cytotoxic effect on tumor cell lines B16 and K562, while in vivo, the effects of the free drug and encapsulated drug were comparable. However, in vivo studies also demonstrated that the encapsulation of oxaliplatin in CB[7] lowered the toxicity of the drug.  相似文献

A series of poly(ether imide)s containing functional cyano groups has been prepared by polycondensation reaction of 2,6‐bis(m‐aminophenoxy)benzonitrile with different bis(ether dianhydride)s, such as 2,2‐bis[4‐(3,4‐dicarboxyphenoxy)phenyl]isopropane dianhydride, 2,2‐bis[4‐(3,4‐dicarboxyphenoxy)‐phenyl]hexafluoroisopropane dianhydride, 1,1‐bis[4‐(3,4‐dicarboxyphenoxy)phenyl]cyclohexane dianhydride, and 3,3‐bis[4‐(3,4‐dicarboxyphenoxy) phenyl]phthalide dianhydride. The polymers were soluble in polar aprotic solvents and even in less polar solvents and were processed into thin films by casting their solutions. The properties of the polymers, particularly the crosslinking of macromolecular chains through cyano groups, were studied by using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), thermal stability, glass transition, and solubility measurements. Direct and inverse problems are considered for diffraction by an open end of a rectangular waveguide (RW) with a flange that adjoins a piecewise inhomogeneous planar layered lossy medium. Also considered are similar diffraction problems for a junction of an RW and a rectangular resonator filled with a multilayer medium and a junction of two RWs, one of which contains a multilayer plate. Such open and shielded waveguide probe structures (WPSs) are used for determination and nondestructive testing of parameters of multilayer samples. The direct problem is formulated on the basis of admittance and impedance algorithms with consideration for losses existing in the medium, flange, and screens. In this case, the approximation of the given aperture field allows obtainment of explicit solutions for open and shielded WPSs in the form of integrals. Solution of the inverse problem that lies in determining thicknesses, permittivities, and permeabilities of the layers from measured values of the magnitude of the reflection coefficient is obtained by minimizing the corresponding least-squares error and by constructing artificial neural networks. In order to increase the accuracy, it is proposed to use a two-port of errors and perform measurements for several positions of the sample with respect to the flange and different impedance conditions behind the sample.  相似文献

This work is a reinvestigation of the impact of blend morphology and thermal annealing on the electrical performance of regioregular‐P3HT:PC60BM bulk heterojunction organic solar cells. The morphological, structural, and electrical properties of the blend are experimentally investigated with atomic force microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and time‐of‐flight measurements. Current–voltage characteristics of photodiode devices are measured in the dark and under illumination. Finally, the existence of exponential electronic band tails due to gap states is experimentally confirmed by measuring the device spectral response in the subband gap regime. This method reveals the existence of a large density of gap states, which is partially and systematically reduced by thermal annealing. When the band tails are properly accounted for in the drift and diffusion simulations, experimentally measured charge transport characteristics, under both dark and illuminated conditions and as a function of annealing time, can be satisfactorily reproduced. This work further confirms the critical impact of tails states on the performance of solar cells.  相似文献

Diffraction of an electromagnetic wave by an open end of a coaxial line with an infinite flange adjoining a piecewise-uniform plane-layered lossy medium is considered. The direct problem is solved on the basis of admittance and impedance algorithms taking into account losses in the flange and the medium. For an infinite conductivity of the flange, a stationary functional for the input admittance is used to find an explicit solution in the form of an integral; numerical results are obtained. The inverse problem consisting in determination of the layer parameters (thickness, permittivity, and permeability) from known (experimental) values of the magnitude of the reflection coefficient at specified frequencies via minimization of the corresponding residual of the least-squares method is considered. It is proposed to increase the amount of experimental data through performance of measurements for several positions of the sample relative to the flange and for different impedance conditions behind the sample. In order to solve the inverse problem, a perceptron neural network is constructed. This approach reduces the solution time by several orders of magnitude.  相似文献
