In search of an efficient transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS), a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)-based system with a polyamidoamine dendrimer was examined. Tamsulosin was used as the model drug. The dendrimer was found to act as the weak enhancer. By adding the dendrimer, the dendrimer-containing PHA matrix achieved the clinically required amount of tamsulosin permeating through the skin model. This is also the first report of the application of PHA and dendrimer to the TDDS.  相似文献

The peak profile of the 4.8-MeV resonance by the 12C(p,p)12C reaction in backscattering geometry has been analyzed to examine two kinds of stragglings of proton, i.e. the depth straggling in the incoming path and the energy loss straggling in the outgoing path. The analysis, which is combined with existing theoretical treatments for the stopping process and the energy loss straggling, has made it possible to deduce the penetration depth and its spread at the resonance position in carbon materials. The present method, as a new tool for direct inspection of ion beams inside target material, is explained in detail.  相似文献

A birefringence of siliceous glass, which is coexisting with mullite crystals, was studied by an optical polarizing microscope. The cause of the birefringence was assumed to be the residual stress induced by a large contraction difference between the mullite and glass on cooling. The stress has been evaluated to be as high as—0.3 GPa, and to correspond to the elastic one which began to develop at the glass transition point.  相似文献

As electronic devices become more highly integrated, the demand for small, high pin count packages has been increasing. We have developed two new types of IC packages in response to this demand. One is an ultra thin small outline package (TSOP) which has been reduced in size from the standard SOP and the other, which uses Tape Automated Bonding (TAB) technology, is a super thin, high pin count TAB in cap (T.I.C.) package. In this paper, we present these packages and their features along with the technologies used to improve package reliability and TAB. Thin packages are vulnerable to high humidity exposure, especially after heat shock.1 The following items were therefore investigated in order to improve humidity resistance: (1) The molding compound thermal stress, (2) Water absorption into the molding compound and its effect on package cracking during solder dipping, (3) Chip attach pad area and its affect on package cracking, (4) Adhesion between molding resin and chip attach pad and its affect on humidity resistance. With the improvements made as a result of these investigations, the reliability of the new thin packages is similar to that of the standard thicker plastic packages.  相似文献

Familial male-limited precocious puberty (FMPP) is a form of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH)-independent isosexual precocious puberty caused by gain-of-function mutations of the luteinizing hormone/chorionic gonadotropin receptor (hLHR). The most common mutation is 1733 A>G, which causes substitution of Asp-578 by Gly. In this study, a male infant presented at the age of 20 months with accelerated sexual development was analyzed for the presence of activating mutations of the hLHR. Analysis of exon 11 of the hLHR gene by genomic polymerase chain reaction (PCR), asymmetric PCR, and dideoxy sequencing identified a single base substitution, 1734 T>A, which led to the replacement of Asp-578 by Glu. The same mutation was found in the mother. Expression of the mutated hLHR in HEK 293 cells demonstrated elevated basal levels of intracellular cAMP in the transfected cells confirming the constitutive activating nature of the mutated hLHR. A possible genotype-phenotype relationship of the hLHR mutations was examined by a comparison of the in vitro activities of the hLHRs carrying the Asp578Gly, Asp578Tyr, Asp578Trp, and Asp578Glu mutations in HEK 293 cells. A positive correlation between the size of the substituting amino acid and the basal level of intracellular cAMP of cells expressing the mutated receptor was demonstrated.  相似文献

This paper presents an investigation on the effects of fine mineral powders on the fluidity and rheological properties of concrete. It was observed that the fluidity of concrete increased noticeably, and the plastic viscosity decreased, when vitreous powders were substituted partially for cement. It was found that vitreous powders have a strong dispersion effect on the fluidity and rheological properties of concrete, and this effect can be correlated with the vitreous content of the powders incorporated.  相似文献

To examine the susceptibility of the epithelial cell line to rat coronavirus (RCV), we inoculated sialodacryoadenitis virus and Parker's RCV into five cell lines; JTC-19, rat L2, LLC, RCN-9 and LBC cells originating in the lungs, intestines and mammary tumors of rodents. Both RCVs were replicated in LBC and RCN-9 cells, but not in the others. The infectivity titers of both RCVs grown in RCN-9 cells were significantly higher than those in LBC cells in every passage (2.5-3.9 log rate). Both RCVs replicated in LBC cells showed higher tropism to RCN-9 cells than to LBC cells, suggesting that RCN-9 cells are more suitable for the replication of RCVs than LBC cells. The RCN-9 cell line would be useful for the investigation of RCV infection in rodents.  相似文献

Mesoporous silica and mesoporous metallosilicates with Al, Ti and Fe as foreign metal species were successfully synthesized by the rapid room temperature method. Mesoporous metallosilicates with low contents of foreign metals possessed high surface area (Sa), large mesopore volume (Vmp) and highly ordered hexagonal mesoporous structure. Increases in foreign metal contents caused disordering the mesoporous structures and lowering the Sa and Vmp values. Bleaching of aqueous methylene blue (MB) by mesoporous silica and metallosilicates was investigated. Mesoporous aluminosilicate and ferrosilicate with cation-exchangeable ability showed the excellent property for the adsorption of MB of cationic dye, while mesoporous ferrosilicate and titanosilicate which absorbed UV lights catalyzed the photocatalytic decomposition of MB under UV-illumination.  相似文献

This paper describes results of time‐frequency analysis of a pressure wave caused by impulse tree extension using wavelet transform. Pressure waves were measured by a piezo sensor which was located on the back of the plane electrode when high‐voltage nanosecond pulses were applied to a point electrode in a low‐density polyethylene block. Frequency of the pressure wave from induced charges on the plane electrode was higher than that of the pressure wave from tree. In addition, the frequency of the pressure wave from tree tended to decrease with increasing gap length because of the dispersion of the pressure wave during its propagation. When a large tree extension occurred between a 5‐mm gap, pressure waves of about 10 MHz propagated from the tree tip and a pressure wave of 1 MHz propagated from the tree stem. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
