We introduce Docker Analyser , a microservice‐based tool that permits building customised analysers of Docker images. The architecture of Docker Analyser is designed to crawl Docker images from a remote Docker registry, to analyse each image by running an analysis function, and to store the results into a local database. Users can build their own image analysers by instantiating Docker Analyser with a custom analysis function and by configuring the architecture. More precisely, the steps needed to obtain new analysers are (1) replacing the analysis function used to analyse crawled Docker images, (2) setting the policy for crawling Docker images, and (3) setting the scalability options for obtaining a scalable architecture. In this paper, we also present 2 different use cases, ie, 2 different analysers of Docker images created by instantiating Docker Analyser with 2 different analysis functions and configuration options. The 2 use cases show that Docker Analyser decreases the effort required to obtain new analysers versus building them from scratch.  相似文献

A novel strategy is presented to determine the next-best view for a robot arm, equipped with a depth camera in eye-in-hand configuration, which is oriented to autonomous exploration of unknown objects. Instead of maximizing the total size of the expected unknown volume that becomes visible, the next-best view is chosen to observe the border of incomplete objects. Salient regions of space that belong to the objects are detected, without any prior knowledge, by applying a point cloud segmentation algorithm. The system uses a Kinect V2 sensor, which has not been considered in previous works on next-best view planning, and it exploits KinectFusion to maintain a volumetric representation of the environment. A low-level procedure to reduce Kinect V2 invalid points is also presented. The viability of the approach has been demonstrated in a real setup where the robot is fully autonomous. Experiments indicate that the proposed method enables the robot to actively explore the objects faster than a standard next-best view algorithm.  相似文献

Dendritic cells (DCs) are immune specialized cells playing a critical role in promoting immune response against antigens, and may represent important targets for therapeutic interventions in cancer. DCs can be stimulated ex vivo with pro-inflammatory molecules and loaded with tumor-specific antigen(s). Protocols describing the specific details of DCs vaccination manufacturing vary widely, but regardless of the employed protocol, the DCs vaccination safety and its ability to induce antitumor responses is clearly established. Many years of studies have focused on the ability of DCs to provide overall survival benefits at least for a selection of cancer patients. Lessons learned from early trials lead to the hypothesis that, to improve the efficacy of DCs-based immunotherapy, this should be combined with other treatments. Thus, the vaccine’s ultimate role may lie in the combinatorial approaches of DCs-based immunotherapy with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, more than in monotherapy. In this review, we address some key questions regarding the integration of DCs vaccination with multimodality therapy approaches for cancer treatment paradigms.  相似文献

Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) have increased incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC). IBD-associated cancer follows a well-characterized sequence of intestinal epithelial changes, in which genetic mutations and molecular aberrations play a key role. IBD-associated cancer develops against a background of chronic inflammation and pro-inflammatory immune cells, and their products contribute to cancer development and progression. In recent years, the effect of the immunosuppressive microenvironment in cancer development and progression has gained more attention, mainly because of the unprecedented anti-tumor effects of immune checkpoint inhibitors in selected groups of patients. Even though IBD-associated cancer develops in the background of chronic inflammation which is associated with activation of endogenous anti-inflammatory or suppressive mechanisms, the potential role of an immunosuppressive microenvironment in these cancers is largely unknown. In this review, we outline the role of the immune system in promoting cancer development in chronic inflammatory diseases such as IBD, with a specific focus on the anti-inflammatory mechanisms and suppressive immune cells that may play a role in IBD-associated tumorigenesis.  相似文献

The wavefront sensor in active and adaptive telescopes is usually not in the optical path toward the scientific detector. It may generate additional wavefront aberrations, which have to be separated from the errors due to the telescope optics. The aberrations that are not rotationally symmetric can be disentangled from the telescope aberrations by a series of measurements taken in the center of the field, with the wavefront sensor at different orientation angles with respect to the focal plane. This method has been applied at the VLT Survey Telescope on the ESO Paranal observatory.  相似文献

Hydrogen permeation experiments were performed to evaluate the influence of water vapor on hydrogen permeability in 80-20% by weight Pd-Ag membranes of 2.5 μm thickness. In particular, hydrogen flux was measured in pure hydrogen permeation tests as well as in experiments with binary mixtures containing also nitrogen or water vapor, that were performed at temperatures ranging from 473 to 723 K and at a transmembrane pressure differences up to about 3 bar. The membranes, supplied by NGK Insulator Ltd., Japan, showed a very high hydrogen permeance and lifetime, as well as virtually infinite selectivity (exceeding 10000 for H2-N2 mixtures). The experiments in hydrogen-nitrogen mixtures were carried out at different temperatures, hydrogen concentrations and feed flow rates and confirmed the existence of a non-negligible concentration polarization phenomenon in the experimental module. The gas phase mass transport and the module fluid dynamics were thus analyzed and the dimensionless numbers characterizing these processes were evaluated at the different operative conditions; a linear correlation was found to hold between Sherwood and Péclet numbers. Interestingly, the hydrogen permeate fluxes measured with feeds containing H2-H2O mixtures resulted always lower than those obtained for the nitrogen-hydrogen mixtures performed at the same hydrogen mole fraction and operative conditions: in particular, the hydrogen flux depletion increased with decreasing temperature and/or increasing the concentration of water vapor. All the experimental evidences suggest a clear interaction between water vapor and metallic layer, causing a lower hydrogen adsorption capacity of the membrane surface. That phenomenon is reversible, since the original permeance of the membrane was restored once the water vapor was removed from the feed, and is apparently due to a competitive H2-H2O adsorption on the Pd-Ag surface. The hydrogen flux depletion was then modeled by considering the simultaneous effects of gas phase resistance and competitive adsorption on the surface, obtaining a rather good agreement between experimental data and calculated results.  相似文献

Nanoparticle thin-film coatings applied to boiling surfaces using a layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly method demonstrated significant enhancement in the pool boiling critical heat flux (CHF) and nucleate boiling heat transfer coefficient. Up to 100% enhancement of the critical heat flux and over 100% enhancement of the heat transfer coefficient were observed for pool boiling of nickel wires coated with different thin-films of silica nanoparticles. Surface characterization revealed that the surface wettability changed drastically with the application of these coatings, while causing virtually no change in the surface roughness. It is concluded that the nanoporous structure coupled with the chemical constituency of these coatings leads to the enhanced boiling behavior.  相似文献

Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare and aggressive neoplasm of the pleural mesothelium, mainly associated with asbestos exposure and still lacking effective therapies. Modern targeted biological strategies that have revolutionized the therapy of other solid tumors have not had success so far in the MPM. Combination immunotherapy might achieve better results over chemotherapy alone, but there is still a need for more effective therapeutic approaches. Based on the peculiar disease features of MPM, several strategies for local therapeutic delivery have been developed over the past years. The common rationale of these approaches is: (i) to reduce the risk of drug inactivation before reaching the target tumor cells; (ii) to increase the concentration of active drugs in the tumor micro-environment and their bioavailability; (iii) to reduce toxic effects on normal, non-transformed cells, because of much lower drug doses than those used for systemic chemotherapy. The complex interactions between drugs and the local immune-inflammatory micro-environment modulate the subsequent clinical response. In this perspective, the main interest is currently addressed to the development of local drug delivery platforms, both cell therapy and engineered nanotools. We here propose a review aimed at deep investigation of the biologic effects of the current local therapies for MPM, including cell therapies, and the mechanisms of interaction with the tumor micro-environment.  相似文献

We have mapped the expression of the tonoplast intrinsic protein (TIP) gene family members in Arabidopsis seeds by fluorescent protein tagging of their genomic sequences and confocal microscopy. Three isoforms (TIP1;1, TIP2;1,and TIP2;2) have distinct patterns of expression in maternal tissues (outer integument and placento-chalazal region). Two isoforms, TIP3;1 and the previously uncharacterized TIP3;2, are the only detectable TIPS in embryos during seed maturation and the early stages of seed germination. Throughout these developmental stages, both isoforms co-locate to the tonoplast of the protein storage vacuoles, but also appear to label the plasma membrane. Plasma membrane labeling is specific to TIP3;1 and TIP3;2, is independent of the position of the fluorescent protein tag, and appears to be specific to early seed maturation and early germination stages. We discuss these results in the context of the predicted distribution of aquaporins in Arabidopsis seeds.  相似文献
