The biologically produced ferric sulfate (in the form of bacterial culture supernatant) was used for machining of copper metal workpiece. A 27.04 mg/h cm2 average specific metal removal rate was achieved during oxidation of copper workpiece. The leaching performance of culture supernatant was comparable to that of microbial cells indicating that an indirect non-contact leaching mechanism is predominant for metal solubilization. The surface of copper workpiece was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy before and after oxidation. The changes in surface appearance were found during oxidation of copper. Also the change in surface roughness was observed during machining process. The quality of the surface produced is a very important aspect of the performance of the manufacturing process. Therefore the present study characterizes an effect of various physicochemical parameters on specific metal removal rate and surface roughness. An increasing concentration of FeSO4, shaking speed and volume of culture supernatant showed pronounced effect on metal removal and surface roughness. At the same time an application of varying temperatures showed little effect.  相似文献

Zinc sulfide (ZnS) thin films have been deposited onto fluorine doped tin oxide and microscopic glass substrates from an aqueous alkaline reaction by chemical bath deposition. The effect of concentrations of hydrazine hydrate (HyH) (complexing agent) on the deposit is studied. X-ray analysis confirm the growth of nanocrystalline ZnS thin films with reflections (111), (220) and (311) correspond to cubic crystalline phase. TEM results support the growth of cubic ZnS layers. The energy band gap was successfully tailored from 2.77 to 3.80 eV. Photoluminescence study indicates a strong band-edge emission with some defect like vacancies. It was also noticed that HyH plays an important role on the nucleation. The remarkable improvement in the growth rate of ZnS thin films have been observed upon increasing the contents of HyH. Nearly stoichiometric ZnS layer was obtained upon annealing prepared with 2.5 M HyH. The crystallinity was found to be increased upon annealing the layers. The ideality factor for the ZnS layers prepared with 0 and 1.0 M HyH were obtained?~1.71 and 1.24, respectively. The capacitance–voltage plots behave according to Schottky–Mott theory. The doping concentrations?~1017 and 1018 cm?3 were calculated for the layers deposited with 0 and 1.0 M HyH, respectively.  相似文献

为了有效地控制差分进化算法的全局搜索和局部搜索,基于递增交叉概率因子的基本思想,在已有的自适应二次变异差分进化算法的基础上,提出了开口向下抛物线、开口向上抛物线和指数曲线3种非线性的交叉概率因子递增策略,并用4种经典函数对它进行测试。测试结果表明,对于多数连续优化问题,在初始参数相同的情况下,凹函数递增策略优于线性策略,而线性优于凸函数策略。凹函数递增策略能够在不影响收敛精度的情况下较大幅度地提高差分进化算法的收敛速度。  相似文献

A comparative study of supported lipozyme-catalysed esterification of oleic acid with lauryl alcohol, isosorbide and sorbitol in a packed tubular reactor is described. The reaction rate was highest with lauryl alcohol, followed by isosorbide and sorbitol. The esterification reaction between oleic acid and lauryl alcohol was carried out in a tubular recycle reactor and a stirred reactor. Different strategies were used to remove the water formed during the reaction. The rate was found to be highest in the tubular reactor. The reactions were modelled by three bisubstrate models, namely ternary complex random order, Ping-Pong, and Ping-Pong with competitive product inhibition. The third model was found to predict the observed behaviour. © 1997 SCI.  相似文献

T315, an integrin-linked kinase (ILK) inhibitor, has been shown to suppress the proliferation of breast cancer, stomach cancer and chronic lymphocytic leukemia cells. Here we demonstrate that T315 decreases cell viability of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cell lines (HL-60 and THP-1) and primary leukemia cells from AML patients in a dose-responsive manner. Normal human bone marrow cells are less sensitive than leukemia cells to T315. T315 down regulates protein kinase B (Akt) and p-Akt and induces caspase activation, poly-ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) cleavage, apoptosis and autophagy through an ILK-independent manner. Interestingly, pretreatment with autophagy inhibitors rescues cells from apoptosis and concomitant PARP cleavage, which implicates a key role of autophagic cell death in T315-mediated cytotoxicity. T315 also demonstrates efficacy in vivo, suppressing the growth of THP-1 xenograft tumors in athymic nude mice when administered intraperitoneally. This study shows that autophagic cell death and apoptosis cooperatively contribute to the anticancer activity of T315 in AML cells. In conclusion, the complementary roles of apoptotic and autophagic cell death should be considered in the future assessment of the translational value of T315 in AML therapy.  相似文献

Conducting polymers (CPs) such as polyaniline (PANI), polypyrrole (PPy), and polythiophene (PTh) are used for the corrosion protection of metals and metal alloys. Several groups have reported diverse views about the corrosion protection by CPs and hence various mechanisms have been suggested to explain anticorrosion properties of CPs. These include anodic protection, controlled inhibitor release as well as barrier protection mechanisms. Different approaches have been developed for the use of CPs in protective coatings (dopants, composites, blends). A judicious choice of synthesis parameters leads to an improvement in the anticorrosion properties of the coatings prepared by CPs for metals and their alloys. This article is prepared as a review of the application of CPs for corrosion protection of metal alloys.  相似文献
