Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a multifactorial pathology characterized by β-amyloid (Aβ) deposits, Tau hyperphosphorylation, neuroinflammatory response, and cognitive deficit. Changes in the bacterial gut microbiota (BGM) have been reported as a possible etiological factor of AD. We assessed in offspring (F1) 3xTg, the effect of BGM dysbiosisdysbiosis in mothers (F0) at gestation and F1 from lactation up to the age of 5 months on Aβ and Tau levels in the hippocampus, as well as on spatial memory at the early symptomatic stage of AD. We found that BGM dysbiosisdysbiosis with antibiotics (Abx) treatment in F0 was vertically transferred to their F1 3xTg mice, as observed on postnatal day (PD) 30 and 150. On PD150, we observed a delay in spatial memory impairment and Aβ deposits, but not in Tau and pTau protein in the hippocampus at the early symptomatic stage of AD. These effects are correlated with relative abundance of bacteria and alpha diversity, and are specific to bacterial consortia. Our results suggest that this specific BGM could reduce neuroinflammatory responses related to cerebral amyloidosis and cognitive deficit and activate metabolic pathways associated with the biosynthesis of triggering or protective molecules for AD. 相似文献

In this paper, we present a low power 12 bit 5 MSPS, successive approximation converter architecture using pipeline technique.
The converter consumes 4 mW at the Nyquist rate input with 1.8 V power supply. By combination of pipeline and successive architecture,
the entire circuit, simulated at the transistor level in a 0.18 μ CMOS process, achieves a FoM (Figure of Merit) of 0.19 pJ/conversion.
Jinghua Li was born in 1973. He received the MSEE and BSEE Degree from College of Electronics and information, Shanghai Jiaotong University
and Harbin Engineering University in 1997 and 1994 respectively. He is currently pursuing Ph.D degree in Department of Electrical
Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA.
In 1997, he joined Bell Laboratory (China), Lucent Technologies as a member of technical staff. He worked on single-chip HDTV
decoder IC and Sonet/SDH SoC for various projects in Murray Hill, NJ, USA and Shanghai China. He also finished projects on
hardware implementation of Video conference/Phone based on H.263 standard as his master thesis. Since 2000, he has been a
research assistant in Analog Mixed Signal center, TAMU. Most currently his research interests are focused on low power analog
to digital conversion IC design, CMOS implementation of 10 G/2.5 G clock data recovery IC for high speed serial communications.
Franco Maloberti received the Laurea Degree in Physics (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Parma, Parma Italy, in 1968 and the Dr. Honoris
Causa degree in electronics from the Instituto Nacional de Astrofisica, Optica y Electronica (Inaoe), Puebla, Mexico in 1996.
In 1993 he was a Visiting Professor at ETH-PEL, Zurich. He was Professor of Microelectronics and Head of the Micro Integrated
Systems Group University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy and the TI/J.Kilby Analog Engineering Chair Professor at the Texas A&M University.
He is currently the Distinguished Microelectronic Chair Professor at University of Texas at Dallas and part-time Professor
at the University of Pavia, Italy.
His professional expertise is in the design, analysis and characterization of integrated circuits and analogue digital applications,
mainly in the areas of switched capacitor circuits, data converters, interfaces for telecommunication and sensor systems,
and CAD for analogue and mixed A-D design. He has written more than 250 published papers, three books and holds 15 patents.
He was in 1992 recipient of the XII Pedriali Prize for his technical and scientific contributions to national industrial production.
He was co-recipient of the 1996 Institute of Electrical Engineers (U.K.) Fleming Premium for the paper “CMOS Triode Transistor
Transconductor for high-frequency continuous time filters.” He has been responsible at both technical and management levels
for many research programs including ten ESPRIT projects and has served the European Commission as ESPRIT Projects' Evaluator,
Reviewer and as European Union expert in many European Initiatives. He served the Academy of Finland on the assessment of
electronic research in Academic institutions and on the research programs' evaluations.
Dr. Maloberti was Vice-President, Region 8, of the IEEE Circuit and Systems Society from 1995 to 1997 and an Associate Editor
of IEEE-Transaction on Circuit and System-II. He received the 1999 IEEE CAS Society Meritorious Service Award, the 2000 CAS
Society Golden Jubilee Medal, and the IEEE Millenium Medal. He is the President of the IEEE Sensor Council and member of the
Board of Governors of the IEEE CAS Society. He is a member of the Italian Electrothecnical and Electronic Society (AEI), the

Despite the existence of patterns able to discriminate between consensual and non-consensual intercourse, the relevance of genital lesions in the corroboration of a legal rape complaint is currently under debate in many countries. The testimony of the physicians when assessing these lesions has been questioned in court due to several factors (e.g., a lack of comprehensive knowledge of lesions, wide spectrum of background area, among others). Therefore, it is relevant to provide automated tools to support the decision process in an objective manner. In this work, we evaluate the performance of state-of-the-art deep learning architectures for the forensic assessment of sexual assault. We propose a deep architecture and learning strategy to tackle the class imbalance on deep learning using ranking. The proposed methodologies achieved the best results when compared with handcrafted feature engineering and with other deep architectures. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to develop an enzymatic hydrolysis process of protein co‐products for two major commercial fish species in Australia: Atlantic salmon (AS) and Yellowtail kingfish (YTK). The outcomes are to produce high protein recovery of fish protein hydrolysates within controlled molecular weight ranges that display enhanced physicochemical properties of oil binding and emulsification. Three enzymes (Flavourzyme, Neutrase and Alcalase) were applied to processing co‐products. Protein recovery and physicochemical properties were evaluated with increasing hydrolysis time from 30 min to 180 min and ratio of enzyme to substrate (E/S) from 0.5% to 3.0%. In order to achieve a product with optimum emulsifying capacity (50 ± 0.6 m2 g?1), an E/S ratio of 0.6–1.3% Flavourzyme was applied for 30–111 min with a protein recovery of 55%; in order to achieve a product with optimum oil‐binding capacity (8.3 ± 0.3 g oil g hydrolysates?1), an E/S ratio of 2.3–3.0% Flavourzyme was applied for 25–64 min with a protein recovery of 70%. YTK protein hydrolysates were further membrane‐fractionated into five fractions (>100 kDa, 50–100 kDa, 30–50 kDa, 10–30 kDa and <10 kDa), and of these, the 10–30 kDa exhibited the best properties of oil binding (19 ± 0.3 g oil g hydrolysates?1) and emulsification (57 ± 0.7 m2 g?1). In this work the jerk analysis of a 3-RRPS parallel manipulator to realize six degrees of freedom is approached by means of the theory of screws. The input/output equations of velocity, acceleration and jerk of the moving platform with respect to the fixed platform are obtained systematically by resorting to reciprocal-screw theory. A numerical example is included in order to show the application of the method of kinematic analysis. Chlorella vulgaris has been referred as a potential source of bioactive compounds (carotenoids and fatty acids). In this work, the ability of an environmentally friendly extraction technique such as Pressurized Liquid Extraction (PLE) and a traditional extraction technique such as Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction (UAE) to obtain functional compounds from C. vulgaris, at analytical scale, has been demonstrated. Seeked bioactivities were antioxidant and antimicrobial, for their interest in the food industry. Therefore, a methodology including analytical extraction, in-vitro assays and chemical characterization via HPLC-DAD and GC–MS has been used to determine the interest of Chlorella as a source of functional food ingredients. Results demonstrated that PLE provide higher yields than UAE while similar bioactivities were obtained. Important concentration of carotenoids (lutein, neoxanthin, β-carotene, etc.), chlorophylls, sterols, phytols, and fatty acids (among others) have been found in Chlorella extracts that could be correlated to the observed biological activity. 相似文献

Two samples of activated carbon fabrics (ACF) with very high surface area (>1300 to >1800 m2/g) fully ozonized in the part 1 of this study were analyzed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) coupled both with differential thermal analysis (DTA) and FT-IR spectroscopy (TGA-FTIR). The adsorbed water and the amount of oxygenated functional groups were determined. The ozonized ACF shows an exothermal decomposition at about 181–189°C which may be due at least in part to the decomposition of ozonide and/or peroxide groups. The TGA-FTIR has revealed that the main products released from the thermal decomposition are CO2 followed by CO. Formic acid was detected only in correspondence to the exothermal transition at 181°C and was taken as a proof of the decomposition of secondary ozonides. 相似文献
