Transmission pricing has become a major issue in the discussions about the deregulated electricity markets.Consequently,open access to the transmission system is one of the basic topics to allow competition among participants in the energy market.Transmission costs have an important impact on relative competition among participants in the energy market as well as on short-and long-term economic efficiencies of the whole electricity industry,although they represent only close to 10% of the energy market price.This paper deals with the design and tests of a transmission pricing method based on the optimal circuit prices derived from the economically adapted network(EAN).Prices derived from the EAN have the advantage of being in tune with the maximum revenue allowed to the owner of transmission assets and simplifying the optimal allocation of transmission costs among participants.Beginning from the conceptual design,the proposed method is tested on a three-bus network and on the IEEE 24-bus reliability test system.  相似文献

In our previous work, “robust transmission of scalable video stream using modified LT codes”, an LT code with unequal packet protection property was proposed. It was seen that applying the proposed code to any importance-sorted input data, could increase the probability of early decoding of the most important parts when enough number of encoded symbols is available at the decoder’s side. In this work, the performance of the proposed method is assessed in general case for a wide range of loss rate, even when there are not enough encoded symbols at the decoder’s side. Also in this work the degree distribution of input nodes is investigated in more detail. It is illustrated that sorting input nodes in encoding graph, as what we have done in our work, has superior advantage in comparison with unequal input node selection method that is used in traditional rateless code with unequal error protection property.  相似文献

A new integrated, low‐noise, low‐power, and area‐efficient multichannel receiver for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is described. The proposed receiver presents an alternative technique to overcome the use of multiple receiver front‐ends in parallel MRI. The receiver consists of three main stages: low‐noise pre‐amplifier, quadrature down‐converter, and a band pass filter (BPF). These components are used to receive the nuclear magnetic resonance signals from a 3 × 3 array of micro coils. These signals are combined using frequency domain multiplexing (FDM) method in the pre‐amplifier and BPF stages, then amplified and filtered to remove any out‐of‐band noise before providing it to an analog‐to‐digital converter at the low intermediate frequency stage. The receiver is designed using a 90 nm CMOS technology to operate at the main B0 magnetic field of 9.4 T, which corresponds to 400 MHz. The receiver has an input referred noise voltage of 1.1 nV/√Hz, a total voltage gain of 87 dB, a power consumption of 69 mA from a 1 V supply voltage, and an area of 305 µm × 530 µm including the reference current and bias voltage circuits. In this paper, the energy efficiency (EE) of a decode and forward (DF) relay system is studied, where two sources communicate through a half-duplex relay node in one-way and two-way relaying strategies. Both the circuitry power and the transmission power of all nodes are taken into consideration. In addition, three different coding schemes for two-way DF relaying strategy with two phases and two-way DF relaying with three phases are considered. The aim is to maximize the EE of the system for a constant spectral efficiency (SE). For this purpose, the transmission time and the transmission power of each node are optimized. Simulations are used to compare the EE–SE curve of different DF strategies with one-way and two-way amplify and forward (AF) strategies and direct transmission (DT), to find the best energy efficient strategy in different SE conditions. Analytical and simulation results demonstrate that in low SE conditions, DF relaying strategies are more energy efficient compared to that of AF strategies and DT. However, in high SE conditions, the EE of two-way AF relaying and DT strategy outperform some of the DF relaying strategies. In simulations, the impact of different circuitry power and different channel conditions on the EE–SE curves are also investigated.  相似文献

A multi-objective optimal phasor measurement unit placement model using integer linear programming is presented in this article. The proposed model simultaneously optimizes two objectives, i.e., minimization of phasor measurement unit numbers and maximization of measurement redundancy. To calculate the redundancy criteria, the single-line outage and the phasor measurement unit loss are considered simultaneously. A linear formulation is presented for both objective functions. Also herein, to address conflicting attributes and identify Pareto optimal solutions of the multi-objective optimal phasor measurement unit placement problem, a new multi-objective mathematical programming method is proposed. Finally, a new index, i.e., minimum distance to utopia point, is implemented to select the most preferred solution among the available Pareto front based options on the goal to achieve judicious decision makers. Two test systems, i.e., a modified 9-bus and an IEEE 118-bus test systems, are used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework.  相似文献

Bi-supported Ziegler–Natta catalysts (TiCl4/MCM-41/MgCl2 (ethoxide type)) were synthesized to improve the morphology and the properties of polyethylene. The morphology control is a crucial issue in polymerization process, while tailoring the properties of polymers is needed for specific applications. The catalysts were synthesized in different ratios of two supports with impregnation method. The polymerization process was carried out in atmospheric slurry reactor. The catalysts were characterized with scanning electron microscopy - energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM–EDX), inductively coupled plasma, Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) methods. The polymers were analyzed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry, FTIR, and tensile-strength analyses. Ubbelohde viscometer and frequency sweep measurements showed that the synthesized polymers are ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. Mechanical properties of polymers showed higher Young's modulus in samples containing MCM-41, having higher thermal stability supported by TGA analysis. SEM images of bi-supported catalyst showed a controlled spherical morphology with uniform size distribution. SEM analysis support that the polymers replicate their morphology from catalyst, improving their morphology comparing to MgCl2-supported catalyst. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym.
