Kinetics of two-step anionic polymerization

This article deals with the kinetics of two-step anionic polymerization by way of a non-steady state method. Several molecular parameters can be evaluated using the formulae developed. A bimodal molecular weight distribution function for the resulting polymer is derived from the set of kinetic differential equations, which is in agreement with the experimental data reported.

The near-zone field characteristics of an E-polarization plane wavepenetrating through cylindrical multiple apertures (non) coated withlossy and lossless media

The direct integral equation is formulated for describing the current on the multiple perfectly conducting strips in cylindrical geometries for an E-polarization plane wave of normal incidence. By using the Galerkin's method, the surface currents on the conducting strips are expanded in the form of a series of Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind, while the unknown expanding coefficients are solved by a set of matrix equations of finite order with a fast convergence rate and a high accuracy. Furthermore, numerical results are presented to demonstrate the variation of the penetrated near-zone field in the presence of one, two, three, four and six cylindrical apertures, and the hybrid effects of both aperture number and aperture angular widths on the penetrated fields are investigated in detail     

An efficient mixed algorithm of L-MEI and DDM for the wavescattering by a concave cylinder

In this paper, a localized MEI method (L-MEI) is developed and combined with the domain decomposition method (DDM) for the simulation of scattering by a concave cylinder. In the L-MEI, the whole domain is decomposed into many subdomains. Different from the conventional MEI method, the MEI coefficients of the L-MEI method in each subdomain are only dependent on the localized metrons that are defined in the subdomain. The localization of metrons has the following advantages: (1) speeding up the calculation of MEI coefficients and saving memory, (2) making the MEI method available for concave structures, and (3) obtaining a band sparse matrix directly without any modification

HP700圆锥破碎机动锥的有限元分析

Investigation of the source/drain asymmetric effects due to gate misalignment in planar double-gate MOSFETs

A planar double-gate SOI MOSFET (DG-SOI) with thin channel and thick source/drain (S/D) was successfully fabricated. Using both experimental data and simulation results, the S/D asymmetric effect induced by gate misalignment was studied. For a misaligned DG-SOI, there is gate nonoverlapped region on one side and extra gate overlapped region on the other side. The nonoverlapped region introduces extra series resistance and weakly controlled channel, while the extra overlapped region introduces additional overlap capacitance and gate leakage current. We compared two cases: bottom gate shift to source side (DG/spl I.bar/S) and bottom gate shift to drain side (DG/spl I.bar/D). At the same gate misalignment value, DG/spl I.bar/S resulted in a larger drain-induced barrier lowering effect and smaller overlap capacitance at drain side than DG/spl I.bar/D. Because of reduced drain-side capacitance, the speed of three-stage ring oscillator of DG/spl I.bar/S, with 20% gate misalignment length (L/sub mis/) over gate length (L/sub g/), or L/sub mis//L/sub g/=20%, was faster than that of two-gate aligned DG-SOI.
