Metal nanoclusters (NCs) possess unique optical properties, and exhibit a wide variety of potential applications. DNA with robust molecular programmability is demonstrated as an ideal scaffold to regulate the formation of NCs, offering a rational approach to precisely tune the spatial structures of NCs. Herein, the first use of branched DNA as scaffold to regulate the formation of silver nanoclusters (super‐AgNC) is reported, in which the spatial structures are precisely designed and constructed. Super‐AgNC with tunable shapes and arm‐lengths including Y‐, X‐, and (Y–X)‐ shaped super‐AgNC is achieved. The molecular structures and optical properties of super‐AgNCs are systemically studied. As a proof of application, remarkably, super‐AgNCs exhibit superior antibacterial performance. In addition, super‐AgNCs show excellent biocompatibility with three types of tissue cells including 293T (human embryonic kidney cells), SMCs (vascular smooth muscle cells), and GLC‐82 (lung adenocarcinoma cells). These performances enable the super‐AgNCs adaptable in a variety of applications such as biosensing, bioimaging, and antibacterial agents. 相似文献

We have directly determined the amide band resonance Raman spectra of the "average" pure alpha-helix, beta-sheet, and unordered secondary structures by exciting within the amide pi-->pi* transitions at 206.5 nm. The Raman spectra are dominated by the amide bands of the peptide backbone. We have empirically determined the average pure alpha-helix, beta-sheet, and unordered resonance Raman spectra from the amide resonance Raman spectra of 13 proteins with well-known X-ray crystal structures. We demonstrate that we can simultaneously utilize the amide I, II, and III bands and the Calpha-H amide bending vibrations of these average secondary structure spectra to directly determine protein secondary structure. The UV Raman method appears to be complementary, and in some cases superior, to the existing methods, such as CD, VCD, and absorption spectroscopy. In addition, the spectra are immune to the light-scattering artifacts that plague CD, VCD, and IR absorption measurements. Thus, it will be possible to examine proteins in micelles and other scattering media. 相似文献

四角切圆燃烧锅炉,存在着稳燃和结渣的矛盾,一次风微反切技术已在多台锅炉上得到应用,较好地解决了这对矛盾并能在一定程度上降低NOx的排放量。本文把湍流理论和多相流动理论应用于炉内空气动力场的计算机数值模拟,用投影法编制的计算软件对600MW锅炉炉内流动进行了计算,得出了一次风反切系统中炉内速度场、实际切圆、颗粒运动轨迹等结果,与冷炉和冷模试验基本吻合,对一次风反切系统的设计和调试具有参考价值。 相似文献

Abstract— A novel pixel design for vertical‐alignment LCDs with superior transmittance has been developed. The new liquid‐crystal mode, refered to as the hole‐induced vertical‐alignment mode (Hi‐VA), uses a via hole of an organic layer on a TFT substrate to achieve multi‐domain alignment. Compared to the conventional design, the Hi‐VA mode has a transmittance of up to 135% with a contrast ratio of 2000:1. A dual‐polarized X‐band conformal array antenna is presented for unmanned aerial vehicles with polarimetric radars/sensors. Starting from the planar structure, the array antenna consisted of sixteen 2 × 2 subarrays is conformal to the cylinders with various curvature radii to fit the payload box of the airborne vehicle. The return losses are almost constant even if the curvature radius changes. Measured radiation patterns are compared with various curvatures at the same frequencies. The array can be easily placed on the aircraft payload or fuselage due to its ultra thin thickness, ultra lightweight, and conformal structure, which has potential airborne applications in polarimetric radar surveillance, remote sensing, and wireless communications. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Dicumyl peroxide (DCPO), is produced by cumene hydroperoxide (CHP) process, is utilized as an initiator for polymerization, a prevailing source of free radicals, a hardener, and a linking agent. DCPO has caused several thermal explosion and runaway reaction accidents in reaction and storage zone in Taiwan because of its unstable reactive property. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to determine thermokinetic parameters including 700 J g–1 of heat of decomposition (ΔHd), 110 °C of exothermic onset temperature (T0), 130 kJ mol–1 of activation energy (Ea), etc., and to analyze the runaway behavior of DCPO in a reaction and storage zone. To evaluate thermal explosion of DCPO with storage equipment, solid thermal explosion (STE) and liquid thermal explosion (LTE) of thermal safety software (TSS) were applied to simulate storage tank under various environmental temperatures (Te). Te exceeding the T0 of DCPO can be discovered as a liquid thermal explosion situation. DCPO was stored under room temperature without sunshine and was prohibited exceeding 67 °C of self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) for a tank (radius = 1 m and height = 2 m). SADT of DCPO in a box (width, length and height = 1 m, respectively) was determined to be 60 °C. The TSS was employed to simulate the fundamental thermal explosion behavior in a large tank or a drum. Results from curve fitting demonstrated that, even at the earlier stage of the reaction in the experiments, ambient temperature could elicit exothermic reactions of DCPO. In this note we present a local tangential lifting (LTL) algorithm to compute differential quantities for triangular meshes obtained from regular surfaces. First, we introduce a new notation of the local tangential polygon and lift functions and vector fields on a triangular mesh to the local tangential polygon. Then we use the centroid weights proposed by Chen and Wu [4] to define the discrete gradient of a function on a triangular mesh. We also use our new method to define the discrete Laplacian operator acting on functions on triangular meshes. Higher order differential operators can also be computed successively. Our approach is conceptually simple and easy to compute. Indeed, our LTL method also provides a unified algorithm to estimate the shape operator and curvatures of a triangular mesh and derivatives of functions and vector fields. We also compare three different methods : our method, the least square method and Akima’s method to compute the gradients of functions. 相似文献

This study is to discuss the impact of stock repurchase declaration and purpose of repurchase on the stock price in the backdrop of listed companies on Taiwan’s stock market. Event Study Method is employed to discuss stock price fluctuations while GARCH (Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity) is applied to estimate the Market Model regressive coefficients. The samples consisted of companies declaring first stock repurchase are selected from August 9, 2000 to December 31, 2005 with a precondition that all the companies shall be listed ones 150 days prior to declaration. The study results reveal that companies from other industries have considerably bigger average CAR than companies of the electrics industry before and after the declaration of stock repurchase. Companies with application purpose of “maintain stockholders’ equities and corporate credit” have considerably bigger average CAR than companies with application purpose of “transferring stocks to employees”. In industries other than electrics, companies with application purpose of “maintain stockholders’ equities and corporate credit” have bigger accumulated abnormal return response than companies with application purpose of “transferring stocks to employees”. In case of “maintain stockholders’ equities and corporate credit” as the application purpose of stock repurchase, companies from industries other than electrics have relatively higher average CAR response. The empirical study results can serve as a reference for the listed company management and to related academic studies. 相似文献
