A polyorganosiloxane retaining a SiO4 tetrahedral framework has been synthesized by the reaction of an inosilicate mineral (para-wollastonite) with a trimethylsilylating reagent. The glassy product dissolved in a wide range of organic solvents but was insoluble in water. The analyses of the product by means of infra-red spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and elemental analysis indicated that trimethylsilyl side groups were linked to the SiO4 framework. The thermal stability of the product was determined by thermal analysis.  相似文献

Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) samples of an Mg-Al alloy has been prepared using a Ga-focused ion beam (FIB) milling at two different operating voltages of 10 kV and 40 kV to investigate the influence of the FIB energy on the sample quality. The fine structures of the samples have been studied using a high resolution TEM, and the concentration of the implanted Ga was analysed using an energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis. The result of the TEM observation revealed that point defects were introduced to the sample finally milled at 40 kV but not at 10 kV. However, crystal lattice images and electron diffraction patterns were clearly observed on both the samples. The typical influence of the FIB energy was indicated in the elemental analysis. The relative Ga concentration in the thin sample finally milled at 10 kV was 1.0-2.0 at% that is less than half of 4.0-6.0 at% of the Ga concentration in the sample finally milled at 40 kV. A comparison between the experimental results of the Ga concentration measurement with simulation was also discussed.  相似文献

Variation in illumination conditions caused by weather, time of day, etc., makes the task difficult when building video surveillance systems of real world scenes. Especially, cast shadows produce troublesome effects, typically for object tracking from a fixed viewpoint, since it yields appearance variations of objects depending on whether they are inside or outside the shadow. In this paper, we handle such appearance variations by removing shadows in the image sequence. This can be considered as a preprocessing stage which leads to robust video surveillance. To achieve this, we propose a framework based on the idea of intrinsic images. Unlike previous methods of deriving intrinsic images, we derive time-varying reflectance images and corresponding illumination images from a sequence of images instead of assuming a single reflectance image. Using obtained illumination images, we normalize the input image sequence in terms of incident lighting distribution to eliminate shadowing effects. We also propose an illumination normalization scheme which can potentially run in real time, utilizing the illumination eigenspace, which captures the illumination variation due to weather, time of day, etc., and a shadow interpolation method based on shadow hulls. This paper describes the theory of the framework with simulation results and shows its effectiveness with object tracking results on real scene data sets.  相似文献

The influence of pH on the permeability of p-toluidine (pKa, 5.3) and aminopyrine (pKa, 5.0) through shed snake skin as a model membrane was studied. The pH was adjusted to several values, and the solubility of the drugs in each donor was measured. Flux rates and permeability coefficients were calculated from the steady-state penetration portions. The flux rates of p-toluidine decreased as the pH value in the donor solution increased. On the other hand, the flux rates of aminopyrine were constant at any pH value. The permeability coefficients of each drug increased as the pH value in the donor solution increased. The partition coefficients (octanol/buffer) of each drug were dependent on the molecular fraction of un-ionized species. From these results, it is suggested that ionized species of p-toluidine transports through shed snake skin, but the ionized species of aminopyrine does not.  相似文献

This paper presents an optimal method for the separation of reflected and transparent layers from real-world scene images. Whereas past research has been applied to indoor environments and static cameras, our technique can be used for outdoor scenes and motion cameras. The method is based on spatio-temporal analysis, especially using epipolar plane images (EPI). The edge and color information of EPI has been used to segment the areas on EPIs efficiently and separate the reflected and transparent layers. This method can be used for refining building textures by removing reflections from captured images for the purpose of city modeling.  相似文献

Inductive coupling among stacked chips in a package enables 1 Gb/s/channel data communications. Array arrangement of the channel increases data bandwidth, while signal may be degraded by crosstalk. In this paper, crosstalk is measured and analyzed, and crosstalk countermeasures are discussed. Received signal waveforms through the inductive coupling are measured by embedded voltage detectors on a test chip. Interference-to-signal ratio (ISR) has good agreement between the measurements and calculations. It is found that crosstalk is reduced negligibly at a certain distance. If the channels are arranged at intervals of this distance, ISR is minimized. A technique based on time interleaving is also proposed to further reduce crosstalk. A 3times17 channel array is implemented with the crosstalk countermeasures. The channel pitch is taken down to 50 mum. Inter-chip communication with data rate of 1 Gb/s/channel and bit error rate (BER) lower than 10-9 is demonstrated  相似文献

Photometric camera calibration is often required in physics-based computer vision. There have been a number of studies to estimate camera response functions (gamma function), and vignetting effect from images. However less attention has been paid to camera spectral sensitivities and white balance settings. This is unfortunate, since those two properties significantly affect image colors. Motivated by this, a method to estimate camera spectral sensitivities and white balance setting jointly from images with sky regions is introduced. The basic idea is to use the sky regions to infer the sky spectra. Given sky images as the input and assuming the sun direction with respect to the camera viewing direction can be extracted, the proposed method estimates the turbidity of the sky by fitting the image intensities to a sky model. Subsequently, it calculates the sky spectra from the estimated turbidity. Having the sky \(RGB\) values and their corresponding spectra, the method estimates the camera spectral sensitivities together with the white balance setting. Precomputed basis functions of camera spectral sensitivities are used in the method for robust estimation. The whole method is novel and practical since, unlike existing methods, it uses sky images without additional hardware, assuming the geolocation of the captured sky is known. Experimental results using various real images show the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

A hybrid tabletop (2 m x 3 m) terawatt chirped-pulse amplification Ti:sapphire-Nd:glass laser (1054 nm, 475 fs, 500 mJ, 9 x 10(17) W cm(-2)) has been developed for laser-matter experiments. An overall gain factor of 10(10) was achieved for the laser. The results of laser applications in the studies of soft-x-ray Ni-like Mo 18.9-nm lasing and of harmonic generation from solid surfaces are presented.  相似文献
