The time-scattering of an electromagnetic wave by a wedge-shaped region in a lossy medium, both with frequency dependent electric characteristics, is analyzed for plane wave and line source illuminations. New exact analytical expressions, satisfying explicitely the causality and allowing useful physical decompositions of the field, are obtained in these cases, using the particularities of the harmonic response in Sommerfeld-Maliuzhinets integral, especially original properties of the spectral function attached to it.  相似文献

A set of 11 expression vectors was constructed, each of themharbouring a cloning cassette under the control of the promoter.Some of these vectors enable expression of foreign proteinsin the cytoplasm, while others include a synthetic sequencecoding for a very efficient secretion signal sequence. Otherfeatures are an fl origin of replication (in plus or minus orientation)and a promoterup mutation that enhances the already very highlevel of expression from these vectors. The risk of arterial embolism, specially cerebral, in patients with mitral stenosis associated atrial fibrillation is seventeen fold greater than that of the general population and five fold greater than that of non rheumatic atrial fibrillation. The usefulness of oral anticoagulant therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation and mitral stenosis is clear. In patients with non rheumatic atrial fibrillation, the controversy about its usefulness has been cleared with five recent reports showing a significant benefit or oral anticoagulation. We believe that these results may be applied to the routine management of these patients provided an adequate patient selection, consideration of contraindications and the use of a low anticoagulation range. Aspirin effectiveness in these patients is unsettled. One study showed benefits of 375 mg/day in patients younger than 75 years. The embolic risk in patients with atrial fibrillation must be stratified. High risk patients require the use of oral anticoagulation with an INR range between 3 and 4.5; those with medium risk require an INR between 2 and 3 and in some, aspirin use may be an alternative. When electrical cardioversion is indicated, oral anticoagulation must be used when atrial fibrillation has lasted for more than two days. In these cases, it is advisable to postpone cardioversion for three weeks after oral coagulation has started and to maintain this treatment for 3 or 4 additional weeks after cardioversion.  相似文献

The goals of this study were to determine: (i) whether mammals mobilize particular nonesterified fatty acids (NEFA) preferentially during locomotion, (ii) if differences in aerobic capacity or diet can affect the pattern of NEFA mobilization and (iii) which individual NEFA are most representative of total NEFA concentration changes, to use them as tracers for turnover studies. Individual NEFA were measured in trained dogs and goats (VO2max dog/VO2max goat=2.2; where VO2max=max-imal oxygen consumption) during treadmill exercise at 40 and 60% VO2max. Important interspecies differences in individual NEFA concentrations could be attributed to differences in aerobic capacity. The more aerobic species (dog) had much higher plasma NEFA concentrations for all but one NEFA (18∶0), when compared with the low-aerobic species (goat). In addition, exercise caused a large increase in concentration of individual NEFA in the dogs, with the largest increases seen in 18∶1 (150% above resting values) and 16∶0 (60% increase), but it had no effect in goats. Therefore, the aerobic species has a much higher ability for mobilizing and transporting NEFA in plasma than its low-aerobic counterpart. Two NEFA accounted for more than half total plasma NEFA in both species, 18∶1 (about 35% total NEFA) and 16∶0 (20%). Calculation of variability in percent composition reveals that oleate and palmitate also closely reflect changes in total NEFA and are therefore the most appropriate tracers forin vivo kinetic studies in exercising mammals. Differences in diet and digestion physiology explained some differences in the plasma NEFA composition of the two species; this was reflected in the percent contributions of individual fatty acids to total NEFA: in dogs 18∶1>16∶0>18∶2>18∶0, while in goats 18∶1>16∶0>18∶0>18∶2. Also, only goats had 18∶3 (6% total NEFA), a fatty acid of plant origin, while only dogs had 16∶1 (7% total NEFA). Overall, however, the plasma NEFA composition of goats did not exactly reflect that of their diet due to preabsorptive modification of unsaturated fatty acids, while in dogs there was a good correlation between dietary and plasma NEFA.  相似文献

The oxidative dimerisation of propene to 1,5-hexadiene has been investigated on Bi-Zn-O catalysts. The Bi48ZnO73 phase, observed in the catalysts calcined at 700 ° C is an active and selective catalyst for the formation of 1,5-hexadiene. The best catalytic performance (1,5-hexadiene selectivity 64%) has been obtained at 525 ° C, with a propene to oxygen ratio of 26, on a catalyst formed by Bi48ZnO73 with a small excess of ZnO.  相似文献

High strength in combination with low density is the key features for lightweight constructions in automotive and aerospace applications. Tailor-made fiber reinforcements in light-metal matrices could help to achieve this goal. However, the integration of fibers with conventional casting-route manufacturing techniques like squeeze casting or diffusion bonding restricts the component geometry and results in elevated process cost due to long cycle times and the need of additional fiber coatings. In the center of competence for casting and thixoforging Stuttgart (CCT), new processes for manufacturing metal matrix composites are developed. Long-fiber reinforced Al–Si alloys and components are produced by thixoforging of laminates made of alternating metal matrix layers and carbon fiber fabrics. This paper illustrates the manufacturing technology and first experimental results with special focus on fiber penetration and infiltration behavior and also on the formation of fiber-matrix interface to analyze fiber damage by mechanical or chemical attack.  相似文献

We report on a neutron scattering study of the molecular structure of a self-assembled supramolecular polymer composed of a bicopper complex within a solution of a covalent polymer (atactic polystyrene/trans-decalin). The study is achieved by putting two binary phases in contact and allowing for diffusion of both components in either phase. It is shown that the one-dimensional bicopper filaments are compatible to a high extent with the atactic polymer. These results are discussed in the light of a recently devised encapsulation process of the bicopper filaments within the fibrils of a physical network of isotactic polystyrene.  相似文献

The fatty acid composition of phospholipids from the Senegalese spongeCinachyrella alloclada was examined. Two new fatty acids not hitherto found in nature, namely 10,13-octadecadienoic acid and 16-tricosenoic acid, were identified. 8-Hexadecenoic, 13-nonadecenoic and 5,9,13-trimethyltretradecanoic fatty acids were also found for the first time in sponges. The latter compound (1.4% of the total fatty acid mixture), an isoprenoid fatty acid, accompanies the major fatty acid 4,8,12-trimethyltridecanoic acid (19.7%). The monomethyl branched fatty acids (22%) identified include 23-methylpentacosanoic acid (anteiso-26∶0), not previously observed in sponged. The major long-chain fatty acids encountered were the known 17-tetracosenoic 19-heptacosadienoic and 5,9,23-tricontatrienoic acid. Some sixty fatty acids were identified as methyl esters andN-acyl pyrrolidides by gas chromatography and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.  相似文献

CLA mixtures are now commercially available. They differ from each other with respect to their content of CLA isomers and their degree of purification. As a group of natural FA, CLA have been widely assumed to be safe. However, the suspected presence of both impurities and particular isomers might induce undesirable side effects. Despite this potential health risk, only a few CLA preparations have been tested under rigorous conditions for clinical efficacy and safety. Based on the limited results available, it is possible to suggest that preparations enriched in c9,t11 and t10,c12 isomers are preferable for human consumption compared to preparations containing four isomers, in terms both of safety and efficacy.  相似文献

This paper describes a multi-agent coordination mechanism applied to intersection simulation situations. In a goal of urban traffic simulation, we must consider the dynamic interactions between autonomous vehicles. The field of multi-agent systems provides us some studies for such systems, in particular on the coordination mechanisms. Conflicts between vehicles (i.e. agents) are very frequent in such applications, and they may cause deadlocks, particularly at intersections such as crossroads. Our approach is based on the solving of two player games/decision matrices which characterize three basic situations. An aggregation method generalizes to n-player games for complex crossroads. The objective of this approach consists in searching basic two-player matrices for solving n-agent problems. To explain the principle, we describe our approach for a particular case of crossroad with three agents. Finally, the obtained results have been examined via a tool of road traffic simulation, ARCHISIM. We assume also that the global traffic replicates the behavior of agents in different situations.  相似文献
