Storage devices are indispensable elements in a microgrid to compensate for the power imbalance between loads and the distributed generator (DG) output. Different storage strategies give diverse performances in adjustment speed and capacity. Based on the performance of different storage devices and the features of power imbalance curve in different periods, a classification control strategy is proposed in this paper. First, storage devices are given priorities according to the adjusting speed, and the power imbalance curve is divided into two periods according to the changing speed. During an emergency, all the storages are employed to compensate the rapidly increasing power imbalance; during the steady period, storage device with higher priority is employed to track the instantaneous component of power imbalance, while storage device with lower priority is used to replace the kWh output of higher priority storage. The proposed strategy is tested in a microgrid within the subdistribution network of IEEE RBTS Bus6 system using Monte Carlo methods. Simulation results indicate that the classification control strategy could endow the system with fast adjusting ability through coordination between storages. Reliability indices of the testing system are utilized to demonstrate that the classification control strategy could improve the stability of the microgrid and reliability of the distribution network. © 2015 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Monodispersed spherical β-SiC powder was synthesized by heating spherical gel powder derived from the hydrolysis of a mixture of phenyltriethoxysilane and tetraethyl orthosilicate. The solution was prepared in a beaker and hydrolyzed by NH4 OH without stirring. The monodispersed spherical gel powder of submicrometer size was obtained when the added amount of NH4 OH was greater than 16 moles per mole of silane plus alkoxide, and it became monodispersed spherical β-SiC powder by heat-treating at 1500°C for 4 h in an Ar atmosphere. Therapeutic vascular catheterization techniques are sometimes hampered by the frictional forces between the blood vessel and the catheter, when contact points of the vessel are changing and deforming during the movement of the catheter. The goal of the present study was to characterize frictional interactions between the blood vessel wall and the catheter using experimental and numerical analysis. First, the frictional force was measured with an experimental apparatus that uses a ball and flattened porcine aorta to simulate frictional forces between the catheter and the vessel. Second, catheter motion was characterized by two-dimensional numerical calculations based on the experimental results. Experimental analysis demonstrated that slip occurred and that friction coefficient between the vessel and the catheter and the deformation of the specimen were small when the contact between the ball and the aorta occurred at a small angle. The compliance of the specimen in the normal direction obtained by the experiment was by far larger than that calculated according to the Hertzian contact theory. Numerical analysis shows that this difference of the parameter of the vessel, which must be determined accurately in surgical simulator, could affect the trajectory of the catheter. 相似文献

The initial step in bacterial infection is adherence of the bacterium to the target cell surface. Helicobacter pylori exploits the interaction of bacterial adhesin protein HopQ with human epithelial CEACAMs (CEACAM1, 5, and 6) to stably adhere to gastric epithelial cells, which is necessary for delivery of the H. pylori CagA oncoprotein into the epithelial cells via a type IV secretion system. In contrast to human CEACAMs, however, HopQ does not interact with Ceacam1 (mouse CEACAM1) in vitro or in CHO cells ectopically expressing Ceacam1. Since the mouse genome lacks Ceacam5 and Ceacam6, no significant HopQ–Ceacam interaction may occur in mouse gastric epithelial cells. Here, we found that the mouse stomach has a much lower expression level of Ceacam1 than the expression level of CEACAM1 in the human stomach. Consistently, mouse gastric epithelial cells resist CagA delivery by cagA-positive H. pylori, and the delivery is restored by ectopic expression of human CEACAM1 or CEACAM5 in mouse gastric epithelial cells. Thus, despite the fact that mice are routinely used for H. pylori infection studies, a low expression level of Ceacam1 in the mouse stomach together with the loss or greatly reduced interaction of HopQ with Ceacams make the mouse an inappropriate model for studying the role of H. pylori-delivered CagA in gastric pathogenesis, including the development of gastric cancer. 相似文献

We develop an approach to robustness analysis of circadian rhythms from the viewpoints of (local) robust stability of periodic trajectories and their period‐sensitivity, based on mathematical models. Our attention is directed to the core molecular model generating circadian rhythms in Drosophila, proposed by Goldbeter [1], for our approach to be illustrated. We consider two cases when the circadian rhythms are subjected to periodic forcing by light/dark (LD) cycles and when the circadian rhythms are under continuous darkness (DD). First, we propose conditions/algorithms for (local) robust stability, and show that the circadian rhythms generated by the core molecular model are (locally) robustly stable, in both LD and DD cases. Second, in DD case, we derive a formula of period sensitivity, and assess effects of (infinitesimal) parameter‐variations on the period of the circadian rhythms. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the structural identification of linear multivariable systems and an interactive identification package. The structural identification is done by taking the time-invariant subsystem from the realizations of the input-output relations identified using data of disjoint time intervals, and the statistical hypothesis test is employed to determine the order, where the input-output relation is identified based on the generalized least squares method using the possibly larger model for the plant. An atmospheric-pressure glow-discharge micro plasma in contact with liquid paraffin is stably generated by using a capacitively coupled plasma method with a mesh electrode. When characteristics of the plasma are measured in the boundary between the micro plasma (gas-phase) and liquid paraffin (liquid-phase) using optical emission spectroscopy, spectrum peaks of the emission of CH and C2 which dissociate from paraffin are observed. The result indicates that solution can feed particles to the plasma at gas-liquid interface and this plasma is accordingly expected to promote an attractive plasma process for creating materials consisting of elements in various solutions. 相似文献

The DNA, which forms a double helical conformation by the highly selective base-pairing rule with the width of 2 nm, is one
of the polymers utilized as a template for nanoparticle assembly. Then, holiday junction structure, where two different DNA
double strands intersect and replace each complement strand, is an important artificial motif for forming two-dimensional
mesh-like DNA morphology. In this study, the two-dimensional sheet with the mesh-like conformation is formed and the growth
of the DNA morphology is controlled by changing the temperature in the formation process. The influence of the cooling procedure
on the formation process of the two-dimensional DNA sheet is observed by atomic force microscope, and the formation of double
strands in the process is traced by absorption spectra. The spectroscopic results demonstrate that the two-dimensional DNA
sheet is strongly dependent on the correlation between the applied cooling process and the melting temperature of double helical
conformation, and that the growth of the two-dimensional DNA sheet can be manipulated by the cooling procedure. Further, we
