The crystal structure and hydrogenation properties of Ce2Ni7-type Gd2Ni7 were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the hydrogen pressure–composition (P–C) isotherm. Ce2Ni7-type Gd2Ni7 was obtained by annealing at 1523 K for 12 h and quenching in ice water. Two superlattice reflections (002 and 004) of the Ce2Ni7-type were clearly observed at 2θ = 7.3° and 14.6° in the XRD profile. The refined lattice parameters were a = 0.49662(9) nm and c = 2.4255(3) nm, respectively. Two plateaus were clearly observed during the absorption–desorption process in the P–C isotherm. The first and second plateaus were at 0.015 and 0.13 MPa, respectively, in the first desorption. The maximum hydrogen capacity reached was 1.13 H/M. The enthalpy and entropy were calculated as −20 kJ/mol H2 and −80 J/mol H2 K, respectively, from the van’t Hoff plot. After the P–C isotherm, the GdNi5 cell expanded by 2.15%, but the Gd2Ni4 cell shrank by 2.83%. 相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of crosslinked aromatic polymer membranes with high ion exchange capacity (IEC) values are reported. Through aromatic nucleophilic substitution polycondensation and the subsequent sulfonation reaction, the highly sulfonated polymers SPPSU‐2S and SPPSU‐4S with high molecular weight (Mn = 138–145 kDa, Mw = 200–279 kDa) and well‐defined structures were synthesized. By solution casting and thermal annealing treatment, flexible crosslinked membranes with high solvent insolubility were obtained. The membranes exhibited mechanical and chemical stability as confirmed by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and conductivity measurement. The crosslinked SPPSU‐4S membrane with IEC = 3.20 meq/g showed the highest proton conductivity of 0.163 S/cm at 120 °C, 90% RH, and improved thermal stability compared with its precursor (uncrosslinked) membrane. The results show that simple annealing method could improve significantly membranes properties of highly sulfonated aromatic polymers. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. We demonstrate that domain structure of single-layer graphene grown by ambient pressure chemical vapor deposition is strongly dependent on the crystallinity of the Cu catalyst. Low energy electron microscopy analysis reveals that graphene grown using a Cu foil gives small and mis-oriented graphene domains with a number of domain boundaries. On the other hand, no apparent domain boundaries are observed in graphene grown over a heteroepitaxial Cu(111) film deposited on sapphire due to unified orientation of graphene hexagons. The difference in the domain structures is correlated with the difference in the crystal plane and grain structure of the Cu metal. The graphene film grown on the heteroepitaxial Cu film exhibits much higher carrier mobility than that grown on the Cu foil. 相似文献

To develop a soft meat product for a dysphagia diet, high-pressure technology was applied. Pressure-heat-treated ground pork meat (PH) was prepared from ground pork mixed with water (ground meat: water, 1:0.5 or 1:1) and salt (1.5%). PH-gels were made from these meat homogenates by treatment at 400 MPa for 20 min, followed by heat treatment. Heat-treated pork meat homogenates (H) were also prepared. The hardness and adhesiveness of the 1:1PH-gel was lower than those of the 1:1H-gel. The PH-gel scored higher in sensory evaluations of elasticity, smoothness and ease of swallowing. Scanning electron micrographs indicated that the superior textural property of the 1:1PH-gel was caused by a network of myosin filaments. Videofluoroscopic examination of swallowing revealed that the 1:1PH-gel was easy to swallow and left little residue in the oropharynx. These results proved the utility of pressurization in creating a dysphagia meat diet. 相似文献

Solid electrolyte interface (SEI) films formed on Li1−xCoO2 electrodes were observed with hard X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (HX-PES). This paper particularly focuses on film thickness estimation using HX-PES with theoretical calculation. The validity of the calculation was proven by experiments using model SEI films. The native film formed on a LiCoO2 composite electrode was estimated to be LiF with its thickness of 5 nm. Formation of Co (II) species on top of LiCoO2 was also indicated. Storage of the electrode at 60 °C brought about considerable film growth (30-40 nm) with carbonate compounds formation. SEI film changes during charging of the LiCoO2 electrode were also examined. The main component in the film was deduced to be LiF or a kind of fluorite, with its thickness decreased during charging. The SEI formation mechanisms are also elucidated. 相似文献

Most gas pipelines have been buried for many years and it is hard to assess their safety. In some locations, gas pipeline breaks have resulted in severe economic and social consequences. The severity of such consequences increases with the number of people exposed. For these reasons, risk assessment for gas pipeline systems should consider both the prediction of damage occurrence and the estimation of the economic and social impacts. In this paper, a new measure denoted H. Index is introduced to assess the magnitude of gas accidents. In order to examine the correlation between the magnitude of accidents and the pipeline attributes, including the environment, fuzzy component analysis is developed. This paper presents a procedure based on linguistic variables to evaluate the main characteristics for each accident. Actual accidents data in Japan are used to illustrate the approach. 相似文献

Fracture behaviour and numerical study of resistance spot welded joints in high-strength steel sheet

Cross tension tests of resistance spot welded joints with varying nugget diameter were carried out using 980 MPa high strength steel sheet of 1.6 mm thickness. In proportion, as nugget diameter increased from 3√t to 5√t (where t is thickness), cross tension strength (CTS) increased while fracture morphology simultaneously transferred from interface fracture to full plug fracture. In cases of interface fracture, circumferential crack initiation due to separation of the corona bond arose at an early stage of loading. The crack opening process without propagation was recognized until just before fracture and then the crack propagated to the nugget immediately in a brittle manner around CTS. In full plug fracture, main ductile crack initiation from the notch-like part at the end of sheet separation occurred with the sub-crack initiated at an early stage. The ductile crack propagated toward the HAZ and base material to form full plug fracture. The mode I stress intensity factor was considered as a suitable fracture parameter because the circumferential crack behaved pre-crack for brittle fracture in the nugget region at the final stage. Based on the FE analysis, the mode I stress intensity factor was calculated as 116 MPa √m at CTS as fracture toughness for the nugget. With respect to full plug fracture, ductile crack initiation behaviour from the notch-like part was expressed by concentration of equivalent plastic strain. On the assumption that the ductile crack arose in critical value of equivalent plastic strain, the value was calculated as 0.34 by FE analysis. Reasonable interpretation for interface fracture and full plug fracture in the resistance spot welded joint was proposed due to first crack initiation by stress concentration, brittle fracture by using mode I stress intensity factor, and ductile crack initiation by using equivalent plastic strain. 相似文献

The purpose of the present study was to determine whether cerebral hyperperfusion after revascularization inhibits development of cerebral ischemic lesions due to artery-to-artery emboli during exposure of the carotid arteries in carotid endarterectomy (CEA). In patients undergoing CEA for internal carotid artery stenosis (≥70%), cerebral blood flow (CBF) was measured using single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) before and immediately after CEA. Microembolic signals (MES) were identified using transcranial Doppler during carotid exposure. Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI) was performed within 24 h after surgery. Of 32 patients with a combination of reduced cerebrovascular reactivity to acetazolamide on preoperative brain perfusion SPECT and MES during carotid exposure, 14 (44%) showed cerebral hyperperfusion (defined as postoperative CBF increase ≥100% compared with preoperative values), and 16 (50%) developed DWI-characterized postoperative cerebral ischemic lesions. Postoperative cerebral hyperperfusion was significantly associated with the absence of DWI-characterized postoperative cerebral ischemic lesions (95% confidence interval, 0.001–0.179; p = 0.0009). These data suggest that cerebral hyperperfusion after revascularization inhibits development of cerebral ischemic lesions due to artery-to-artery emboli during carotid exposure in CEA, supporting the “impaired clearance of emboli” concept. Blood pressure elevation following carotid declamping would be effective when embolism not accompanied by cerebral hyperperfusion occurs during CEA. 相似文献
