Capturing the appearance of objects under different lighting conditions is useful in texture acquisition, bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) measurement, and image-based data acquisition. With the acquired data, we can render virtual objects realistically. During the data capture, we must record both the radiance and the light vector. Measuring the light vector is not necessarily easy. We propose a capturing system that estimates the light vector by applying a vision-based technique. It lets the user freely position a handheld light source during capture. The system estimates light-source orientation in real time through a Web cam mounted on the light source. Software running on an ordinary PC analyzes images from the Web cam to recognize the light source direction (the light vector). Our goal is to design a low-cost, portable, and adaptable system. Vision-based approaches offer such characteristics. We use a pose-estimation system to acquire image-based data for relighting.  相似文献

This paper presents a methodology of using six-sigma quality tools for benchmarking of rapid prototyping & manufacturing (RP&M) processes. It involves the fabrication of a geometric benchmark part and a methodology to control and identify the best performance of the process to reduce the variablity in the fabricated parts. The approach is demonstrated with a case study based on the direct laser sintering (DLS) process for prototyping using plastic powder. In the case study an identified set of six-sigma/ statistical process control tools is employed to determine and best tune factors affecting the desired outcomes of the built parts.  相似文献

The machinable ceramic Si3N4-BN is a material which is increasingly being employed for automobile bearings and machinable ceramics. This material is very hard and has high resistance against volatile temperature and wear. It's efficient quality and accurate surfaces have always been of high demand for many applications in the industrial field. Besides, this material is varied by the percentage of BN contained in it, and the characteristics of lapping also varies according to this percentage of BN. Hence, in-process electrolytic dressing for ultra-precision lapping was introduced and used to experiment with the differing BN percentages in machinable ceramic Si3 N4. Metal-bonded super-abrasive diamond lapping wheels have superior qualities such as high bond strength, high stability and high machinability. The major problems encountered are wheel loading and glazing, which impedes the effectiveness of the cast-iron bonded diamond lapping wheel and, therefore, dressing should be considered. In this respect, in-process electrolytic dressing (IED) is proposed as an effective method regarding continuous protruding abrasives on the surface of wheels, whereby loading and glazing phenomena can apparently disappear. In this paper, the machining characteristics of machinable ceramic Si3N4-BN have been studied by adapting the IED lapping process in terms of the percentage of h-BN material.  相似文献

A three-dimensional nonlinear finite element algorithm was developed to predict the change in paper topology as well as the wrinkle performance of the roll feeding systems. The initial shape of the thin plate to be analyzed can be perfectly flat or wavy. The roll system can be of any arbitrary configuration with manufacturing tolerance included. The algorithm described here uses the total Lagrange formulation with Piola-Kirchhoff stress and Green-Lagrange strain. Gap elements are used to simulate the physical significance of the paper supports. Quasistatic solutions at different time intervals are calculated. The change in topology and the locations of predicted wrinkles are found to agree with experiments.  相似文献

提出一种扩展的关联规则法用于抽取中文非分类关系,在利用普通关联规则抽取出非分类关系概念对后,通过语言学规则抽取相应的非分类关系名称。该方法克服了普通关联规则法无法得出具体非分类关系名称的缺点,能够确定非分类关系的定义域和值域。实验结果表明仅使用扩展的关联规则法进行非分类关系抽取即可完成任务,无须对概念对与"谓语"动词之间的紧密程度进行验证。  相似文献

A method for the historical elastoplastic analysis of plane frames under the assumption of small deformation theory is presented. Interaction of bending moment and axial force is taken into account. A major feature of the procedure lies in the piecewise linearization of the convex nonlinear yield surface, thereby guaranteeing the satisfaction of both equilibrium and yield conditions. Local unloading can also be catered for. A computer program based on this technique has been written and three simple numerical examples are given to illustrate its capabilities.  相似文献
