Interaction between beta-lactum antibiotic drug ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CFH)and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)was performed conductometrically in aqueous as well as in the occurrence of different salts(NaCl,KCl as well as NH_4Cl)over the temperature range of 298.15–323.15 K at the regular interval of 5 K.CFH drug has been suggested for the treatment of bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections and acute sinusitis.A clear critical micelle concentration(CMC)was obtained for pure CTAB as well as(CFH+CTAB)mixed systems.The decrease in CMC values of CTAB caused by the addition of CFH reveals the existence of the interaction between the components and therefore it is the indication of micelle formation at lower concentration of CTAB and their CMC values further decrease in attendance of salts.A nonlinear behavior in the CMC versus T plot was observed in all the cases.The ΔG_m~0 values are found to be negative in present study systems demonstrated the stability of the solution.The values of ΔH_m~0 and ΔS_m~0 reveal the existence of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions between CFH and CTAB.The thermodynamic properties of transfer for the micellization were also evaluated and discussed in detail.Molecular dynamic simulation disclosed that environment of water and salts have impact on the hydrophobic interaction between CFH and CTAB.In water and salts,CTAB adopts spherical micelle in which charged hydrophilic groups are interacted with waters whereas hydrophobic tails form the core of the micelle.This hydrophobic core region is highly conserved and protected.In addition,micelle formation is more favorable in aqueous Na Cl solution than other solutions.  相似文献

Pencil-like zinc oxide(ZnO) nanowire was synthesized on Si(111) substrate through a simple vapor phase method using a mixture of zinc oxide and graphite as the source material. The source inside a quartz tube created a Zn-rich vapor that facilitated the formation and growth of ZnO nanowires. Field emission scanning electron microscopic studies indicated that pencil-like ZnO nanowires had a size of the range from 50 to 150 nm in diameter and several microns in length. X-ray diffraction was used to investigate the crystal structure of ZnO nanowires. Raman scattering and photoluminescence were applied to characterize the optical properties of the pencils. The growth mechanism of the nanopencils was discussed based on the growth conditions.  相似文献

Current production level design guidelines in block caving mines are based on the concept of interaction of movement zones and the spacing of draw-points at which mass flow is achieved. The limit of the isolated movement zone (IMZ) interaction has been determined by observations of the flow of sand and finely fragmented caved rock. This paper presents a study of the mechanisms and limit of IMZ interaction in coarse fragmented caved rock using a large 3D physical model. Results showed that when drawing from multiple draw-points, the unmoved zone between IMZs is characterised by an increase in vertical load and a decrease in horizontal load. However, it was observed that the unmoved zones between the movement zones of adjacent draw-points did not enter the flow zone, despite draw-points being spaced at less than 1.2 times the width of the IMZ. This result is in marked contrast to previous findings obtained in sand models, where movement zones have been observed to interact at draw-point spacings up to 1.5 times the width of the IMZ. The major reasons for the differences between the two different model results was found to be that significant stress arching and less induced vertical stress during flow was observed in the gravel model, in contrast to limited stress arching and more induced vertical stress in the sand models. It is hypothesised that significant stress arching would occur in block caving mines, and therefore that the results obtained in the gravel model maybe more representative of full-scale conditions. Movement zones in block caving mines may therefore not interact at draw-point spacings greater than the width of the isolated movement zone.  相似文献

We successfully prepared colloidal silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) using a nanosecond pulsed Nd:YAG laser, λ = 532 nm, with laser fluence of approximately about 0.6 J/pulse, in an aqueous gelatin solution. The size and optical absorption properties of samples were studied as a function of the laser repetition rates. The results from the UV-vis spectroscopy demonstrated that the mean diameter of Ag-NPs increase with the laser repetition rate increases. The Ag-NPs have mean diameters ranging from approximately 9 nm to 15 nm. Compared with other preparation methods, this work is clean, rapid, and simple to use.  相似文献

Three LDPE nanocomposites based on the nanoscale fillers, montmorillonite clay, silica, and zinc oxide were studied to determine if the reinforcement they imparted was accompanied by any change in the weatherability of the nanocomposite. Changes in weathering behavior were monitored in samples exposed to natural weathering outdoors over a period of 24 months of exposure. Because of superior light‐shielding afforded by the high specific surface area of nanofillers a stabilization effect might be anticipated. Alternatively chemical effects may enhance weatherability. In all three nanocomposites studied, the weatherability compared to unfilled LDPE did not significantly change due to the presence of 5 wt% of the nanofillers. The efficient reinforcement afforded by the nanofillers is not accompanied by a loss or enhancement in durability of the material. POLYM. Geochemical composition and the level of Arsenic (As) contamination of groundwater in the Ganges Delta Plain, southwestern Bangladesh were elucidated. Hydrogeochemical data of tube well samples suggested that the groundwater is mostly Ca-Mg-HCO(3) type with bicarbonate (HCO(3)(-)) as the dominant anion, though other type waters are also observed. In contrast, the elevated EC, Cl(-) and high content of Na(+) relative to Ca(2+), Mg(2+) and K(+) in six groundwater samples suggest their saline origin. Low concentrations of NO(3)(-) and SO(4)(2-), and high concentrations of dissolved organic carbon (DOC), HCO(3)(-) and PO(4)(3-) indicate the reducing conditions of subsurface aquifer where sediments are deposited with abundant organic matter. The total As concentration in the analyzed samples is very high (0.0431-1.352 mg/L) along with high Fe (2.791-17.058 mg/L) and relatively low Mn (0.134-1.972 mg/L) at different depths. Distinct relationship of As with Fe and Mn, and strong correlation with DOC suggests that the biodegradation of organic matter and reductive dissolution of Fe-oxyhydroxide is considered to be the dominant processes to release As in aquifers. Moreover, negative correlation between As and SO(4)(2-) demonstrates the As may not be directly mobilized from sulfide minerals like arsenopyrite.  相似文献

In this letter, a joint transmit scheduling and dynamic sub-carrier and power allocation method is proposed to exploit multi-user diversity in downlink packet transmission in an OFDM wireless network with mixed real-time and non-real-time traffic patterns. To balance efficiency and fairness and to satisfy the QoS requirements of real-time users, we utilize a utility-based framework and propose a polynomial-time heuristic algorithm to solve the formulated optimization problem. The distinguishing feature of the proposed method is that it gives in one shot, the transmission scheduling, the sub-carriers assigned to each user, and the power allocated to each sub-carrier, based on a fair and efficient framework while satisfying the delay requirements of real-time users.  相似文献

The nano-structural Al-doped ZnO thin films of different morphologies deposited on glass substrate were successfully fabricated at substrate temperature of 350 C by an inexpensive spray pyrolysis method. The structural, electrical, optical and photoluminescence properties were investigated. X-ray diffraction study revealed the crystalline wurtzite (hexagonal) structure of the films with nano-grains. Scanning electron mi- croscopy (SEM) micrographs indicated the formation of a large variety of nano-structures during film growth. The spectral absorption of the films occurred at the absorption edge of ~410 nm. In the present study, the optical band gap energy 3.28 eV of ZnO decreased gradually to 3.05 eV for 4 mol% of Al doping. The deep level activation energy decreased and carrier concentrations increased substantially with increasing doping. Exciting with the energy 3.543 eV (λ=350 nm), a narrow and a broad characteristic photoluminescence peaks that correspond to the near band edge (NBE) and deep level emissions (DLE), respectively emerged.  相似文献
