The sulfur‐based cathode materials suffer severely from poor cycling stability and low utilization, incurred by their stepwise reaction mechanism that generates polysulfide intermediates and the subsequent irreversible losses. In this work, those issues are significantly relieved by entrapping sulfur species in carbon host rich in oxygen functionalities. Sulfur species in such C/S composite are highly stabilized by their interaction with oxygen, and can deliver a reversible capacity of 508 mAh/(g of S) for 2000 cycles when coupled with Li, representing the best cycling stability up to date. More interestingly, extra capacity can be accessed by simply prelithiating the oxygen‐stabilized C/S composites down to 0.6 V for a few cycles, which enables a high capacity of 1621 mAh/(g of S) that eventually stabilizes at 820 mAh/(g of S) for 600 cycles. The mechanism for this electrochemical activation process is investigated with both spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques, which reveal that the inactive sulfur bonded to oxygen is liberated in the initial deep lithiation precycles and becomes electrochemically active. The oxygen‐stabilized sulfur can also be coupled with Na anode to form Na/S cell, confirming that the formation of S?O interaction in C/S composite generates promising sulfur‐based cathode materials for Li–S and Na–S batteries. 相似文献

Cartilage loss is a leading cause of disability among adults, and effective therapy remains elusive. Human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs), which have demonstrated self‐renewal and multipotential differentiation, are a promising cell source for cartilage repair. However, the hypertrophic differentiation of the chondrogenically induced MSCs and resulting tissue calcification hinders the clinical translation of MSCs for cartilage repair. Here, a multifunctional nanocarrier based on quantum dots (QDs) is developed to enhance chondrogenic differentiation and suppress hypertrophy of hMSCs simultaneously. Briefly, the QDs are modified with β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) and RGD peptide. The resulting nanocarrier is capable of carrying hydrophobic small molecules such as kartogenin in the hydrophobic pockets of conjugated β‐CD to induce chondrogenic differentiation of hMSCs. Meanwhile, via electrostatic interaction the conjugated RGD peptides bind the cargo siRNA targeting Runx2, which is a key regulator of hMSC hypertrophy. Furthermore, due to the excellent photostability of QDs, hMSCs labeled with the nanocarrier can be tracked for up to 14 d after implantation in nude mice. Overall, this work demonstrates the potential of our nanocarrier for inducing and maintaining the chondrogenic phenotype and tracking hMSCs in vivo. 相似文献

The liver plays an important role in metabolizing foreign materials, such as drugs. The high accumulation of carbon nanotubes and other hydrophobic nanoparticles in the liver has raised concerns that nanoparticles may interfere with liver metabolic function. We report here that carbon nanotubes enter hepatic cells after intravenous introduction and interact with CYP enzymes, including CYP3A4. Surface chemical modifications alter the carbon nanotubes' interactions with CYP450 enzymes in human liver microsomes. They enhance, inhibit, or have no effect on the enzymatic function of CYP3A4. Using a cheminformatics analysis, certain chemical structures are identified on the surface of the carbon nanotubes that induce an enzyme inhibitory effect or prevent disruption of CYP3A4 enzymes. 相似文献

High piezoelectricity of (K,Na)NbO3 (KNN) lead‐free materials benefits from a polymorphic phase transition (PPT) around room temperature, but its temperature sensitivity has been a bottleneck impeding their applications. It is found that good thermal stability can be achieved in CaZrO3‐modified KNN lead‐free piezoceramics, in which the normalized strain d 33* almost keeps constant from room temperature up to 140 °C. In situ synchrotron X‐ray diffraction experiments combined with permitivity measurements disclose the occurrence of a new phase transformation under an electrical field, which extends the transition range between tetragonal and orthorhombic phases. It is revealed that such an electrically enhanced diffused PPT contributed to the boosted thermal stability of KNN‐based lead‐free piezoceramics with high piezoelectricity. The present approach based on phase engineering should also be effective in endowing other lead‐free piezoelectrics with high piezoelectricity and good temperature stability. 相似文献

Photoconductive antennas (PCAs) based on nanoplasmonic gratings contact electrodes have been proposed to satisfy the demand for high power, efficiency and responsivity terahertz (THz) sources. Reducing the average photo-generated carrier transport path to the photoconductor contact electrodes was previously considered the dominant mechanism to improve PCAs'' power. However, considering the bias in a real device, the electric field between gratings is limited and the role of surface plasmonic resonance (SPR) field enhancement is more important in improving THz radiation. This paper, based on SPR, analyzes the interaction between incident light and substrate in nano cylinder array PCAs and clearly shows that the SPR can enhance the light absorption in the substrate. After the optimization of the structure size, the proposed structure can offer 87% optical transmission into GaAs substrate. Compared with conventional PCAs, the optical transmission into the substrate will increase 5.8 times and the enhancement factor of substrate absorption will reach 13.7 respectively. 相似文献

本文提出样本空间经过K-均值聚类算法聚类加工处理后,算法通过动态地调整选择路径概率,优化TSP求解过程中解的分布均衡性,可以在加速收敛和防止早熟、停滞现象之间取得很好的平衡。这种新的算法提供了在样本空间预处理情况下,动态自适应地解决TSP问题最优解的新方法。比起普通蚁群算法,此算法对大规模数据的最优解的求解更有显著效果。 相似文献
