We construct constitutive relations for friction stress, slide stress and collision stress of cohesionless granular flows. We propose that the friction stress and slide stress could be neglected when τc/τe < 0.02, where τc represents the interval time experienced by a given particle between two consecutive binary collisions and τe the particle relaxation time. We applied these constitutive relations to a simulation of solid-liquid flow in an inclined chute and found the simulation results agree with experimental data.  相似文献

采用沉淀-焙烧法制备了室温下对NH3具有高灵敏度和高选择性的rGO-SnO2纳米复合材料。利用X射线衍射(XRD),傅里叶红外光谱(FTIR),X射线光电子能谱(XPS),扫描电子显微镜(SEM),透射电子显微镜(TEM)和比表面积(BET)表征分析了纯SnO2与rGO(1.0%)-SnO2纳米复合物的属性。与纯SnO2相比,rGO(1.0%)-SnO2纳米复合物中SnO2晶体尺寸较小,约为6~20nm,比表面积更大,为33m2/g;rGO(1.0%)-SnO2纳米复合材料对0.01% NH3的灵敏度达到了49.6%,是相同NH3浓度下纯SnO2灵敏度的2.1倍,并且响应和恢复时间分别为21s和204s,比纯SnO2缩短了24s和10s,具有良好的重复性,选择性与稳定性;rGO(1.0%)-SnO2纳米复合材料优良的气敏性能是由rGO与SnO2产生的p-n异质结以及溶解的NH3电离出导电离子共同作用的结果。  相似文献

In the present work, a large glass-forming region was found in the novel GeS2–Sb2S3–PbS system, in which up to 58 at.% PbS could be incorporated without deteriorating the thermal and physical properties of glasses. Infrared (IR) transmitting glass ceramics with a large amount of small-sized crystals (<100 nm) were then produced by choosing sub-stable compositions and annealing at fairly low temperatures (15°–30°C above T g) for long durations (up to 100 h). Crystals were identified by X-ray diffraction as Pb2GeS4, PbGeS3, PbS, PbSb2S4, etc., depending on base glass compositions. Compared with base glasses, glass ceramics showed much improved thermal shock resistance and fracture toughness, making them good candidate materials for IR optics.  相似文献

Tobermorites were synthesized from oxides and from fly ashes under mild hydrothermal conditions. The bulk compositions of the ash-based formulations were adjusted to give the same [Ca]/[Si + Al] ratio as for the oxides. Selective Cs and Sr exchange with these tobermorites was measured. Compared to those prepared from the oxides and from class C fly ash, the tobermorites obtained from class F fly ash exhibited superior Cs and Sr selective properties. This is apparently a result of more extensive Al incorporation with class F fly ash. For example, tobermorite synthesized from class F fly ash exhibited a cesium K d (mL/g) of 3826 while those prepared from oxides and from class C fly ash showed K d values of 1112 and 796, respectively, under the same conditions. These results suggest that fly ash waste materials can be converted into tobermorite, which can serve as a resource in the separation, immobilization, and disposal of radioactive species such as Cs and Sr.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

To prepare H2-permeable palladium composite membranes, a novel carbon-doped microporous TiO2 intermediate layer was introduced to modify the surface of macroporous Al2O3 substrates. The Pd/TiO2–C/Al2O3 membrane was prepared via electroless plating, and thereafter, carbon residue in the intermediate layer was removed by calcination in air, yielding a Pd/TiO2/Al2O3 membrane. Experimental results indicate that the carbon residue shrinks the pore size of the intermediate layer and facilitates a decrease of membrane defects. Additionally, carbon removal induces a higher effective membrane area at the permeate side, which enhances hydrogen permeability. Furthermore, the apparent activation energy (EA) and stability of the as-prepared Pd/TiO2/Al2O3 membrane were investigated.  相似文献

The copolymerization of carbazole (CZ) and 3‐methylthiophene (3MeT) was successfully performed electrochemically in freshly distilled boron trifluoride diethyl etherate by direct anodic oxidation of the monomer mixtures, although the oxidation potentials of CZ and 3MeT were quite different. The electrochemical properties of the copolymers were studied with cyclic voltammetry. The influence of the applied polymerization potential on the synthesis of the copolymers was investigated. The higher potential favored the incorporation of 3MeT units into the copolymers. The insertion of 3MeT units into polycarbazole (PCZ) was helpful in improving the conductivity of PCZ. The novel copolymers had the advantages of both PCZ and poly(3‐methylthiophene), that is, good redox activity, good thermal stability, and high conductivity. The structure and morphology of the copolymers were investigated with ultraviolet–visible, infrared spectroscopy, thermal analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Adsorbate interactions and reactions on metal surfaces have been investigated using scanning tunneling microscopy. The manners in which adsorbates perturb the surface electronic structure in their vicinity are discussed. The effects these perturbations have on other molecules are shown to be important in overlayer growth. Interactions of molecules with surface steps are addressed, and each molecule's electron affinity is shown to dictate its adsorption sites at step edges. Standing waves emanating from steps are demonstrated to effect transient molecular adsorption up to 40 A away from the step edge. Halobenzene derivatives are used to demonstrate how the surface is important in aligning reactive intermediates.  相似文献
