by Ebisawa based on the free-electron model is extended to the case of isotropic but arbitrary energy—momentum relation. It is also shown that the detailed form of the impurity potential, i.e., the momentum dependence of its Fourier transform, which is neglected in Ebisawa's work, also contributes to the effect and its contribution is calculated. The result shows that, besides the energy dependence of the density of states and electron velocity near the Fermi energy of the host metal, the detailed nature of the impurity also has a large influence on the Hall effect. Temperature change was measured of polycarbonate under monotonically increasing tensile and pulsating tensile loads. In the former case, the specimen temperature began to rise when an appreciable amount of viscoelastic strain was noticed on the stress—strain diagram. The rise, θv, could be formulated as a function of the viscoelastic strain, εv: In fatigue tests, the average temperature began to rise immediately after the decrease due to the thermoelastic effect. The amount of the heat generation, σ, was nearly constant for each cycle throughout the fatigue process and has a relation to the fatigue life, Nf, (α? a)·Nf = constant, where a is another adjustable constant. From a rheological aspect of dissipation energy, the equation is transformed to a relation between the viscoelastic strain and the fatigue life as εV1/2 · Nf = constant, which is similar to the one for metals given by Manson and Coffin.6 The temperature rise in the fatigue was also related to the viscoelastic strain. Biomimetic “ion-channel sensors” based on host-guest molecular recognition were constructed by incorporating several kinds of receptor molecules in Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) molecular assemblies deposited directly on glassy carbon electrodes. The receptors used were valinomycin, bis(crown ether)s, macrocyclic polyamine and cyclodextrin polyamine. The binding of charged stimulants (metal ions, inorganic and organic anions) to these receptors induced a marked increase (or decrease) in the ion permeability of the membranes, as detected by cyclic voltammetry using [Fe(CN)6]4- or [Ru(bpy)3]2+ as marker ion. Such a mode of response, corresponding to model “channel opening (or closing)”, can be explained on the basis of the charge-charge interaction involving the stimulant, marker ion and lipid. 相似文献

The CCl4 plasma treatment of polypropylene films was investigated from the viewpoint of hydrophilic surface modification using a contact-angle meter, ATR FTIR spectroscopy, and angular XPS. Hydrophilicity and chemical composition of the CCl4 plasma treatment was effective in hydrophilic modification. The advancing contact angle of water for polypropylene films was decreased from 99° to 81-7° by the CCl4 plasma treatment, and the surface energy increased from 27.2 to 38.9-67.7 mJ/m2 when the discharge current varied from 50 to 150 mA. The CCl4 plasma initiated chlorination, oxidation, and aluminum sputtering reactions. The chlorination of polypropylene films was favorable in a mild CCl4 plasma operated at discharge current of 50 mA. The oxidation and aluminum sputtering reactions were predominant over the chlorination in strong CCl4 plasmas operated at discharge currents of more than 75 mA. The chlorination initiated by the mild CCl4 plasma was restricted near the film surface within 36 Å deep. The regions modified with the strong CCl4 plasma reached inner layers of 36-49 Å deep. Hydrophilicity caused by the CCl4 plasma treatment may be due not only to chlorine functionalities but also to oxygen and aluminum functionalities. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

Two‐pole large generators are extensively used in power utilities. Growing demand for electric power in recent years has led to substantial increases in the capacity of generators. In line with this trend, our company has manufactured two‐pole turbine generators in the 900,000‐kVA to 1,200,000‐kVA classes. As the capacity of generators becomes larger, equivalent circuits are increasingly expected to improve their precision in estimating operation characteristics. The Park model has been widely used as an equivalent circuit model. The Park model with quadrature axis transient reactance $x_{q}^{prime}$ is claimed to be useful for accurately estimating the load rejection characteristics of turbine generators. However, it is difficult to measure $x_{q}^{prime}$, few studies based on measured data have appeared. As one of the few examples, we have conducted a measured data on a 500,000‐kVA‐class generator. Recently, the authors obtained test data on $x_{q}^{prime}$ of a 900,000‐kVA‐class generator. To avoid the risk of long-term storage of secrets on a portable device, an online credential system supports the roaming user in retrieving securely at various locations his private key and other material to generate anonymous signatures. The protocol proposed here allows a roaming mobile user to access anonymously services such as whistle blowing and net-counselling. Our approach: (1) allows a mobile user, remembering a short password, to anonymously and securely retrieve the credentials necessary for his anonymous communication without assuming a pre-established anonymous channel to the credential server or establishing an anonymous channel using the time-consuming existing rerouting techniques; (2) provides authenticated anonymous access to privacy-related services without rerouting the packets; (3) helps combatting the abuse of anonymity for performing illegal activities (e.g. redistribution of copy-righted contents, illegal drug trading and so on). 相似文献

Recently, renewable energy has been attracting attention as a result of global warming and the depletion of fossil fuels. Photovoltaic (PV) systems have spread rapidly around the world because they generate electric power quietly and can be installed in many places. The output power generated in a PV system fluctuates with changes in solar irradiance and panel temperature. The reverse flow of surplus power in output spikes may have a negative effect on electric power quality, such as on the frequency and voltage in a power system. A residential distributed generation (DG) system composed of a fuel cell (FC) unit, an electrolyzer (EL) unit, and a PV system has been proposed in order to resolve these problems. In order to operate this system without interruption, the hydrogen storage volume must be managed. This paper proposes a novel hydrogen management method for a residential DG system with PV cells and hydrogen‐storage type FCs. The hydrogen storage volume is maintained at the preset frequency by operating the FC unit and the EL unit. Models of the PV, FC, and EL were constructed for a simulation. In the simulation, we showed that the proposed management method is viable for a residential DG system with PV cells and hydrogen‐storage FCs. 相似文献
