Highly integrated, flexible, and ultrathin wireless communication components are in significant demand due to the explosive growth of portable and wearable electronic devices in the fifth‐generation (5G) network era, but only conventional metals meet the requirements for emerging radio‐frequency (RF) devices so far. Here, it is reported on Ti3C2Tx MXene microstrip transmission lines with low‐energy attenuation and patch antennas with high‐power radiation at frequencies from 5.6 to 16.4 GHz. The radiation efficiency of a 5.5 µm thick MXene patch antenna manufactured by spray‐coating from aqueous solution reaches 99% at 16.4 GHz, which is about the same as that of a standard 35 µm thick copper patch antenna at about 15% of its thickness and 7% of the copper weight. MXene outperforms all other materials evaluated for patch antennas to date. Moreover, it is demonstrated that an MXene patch antenna array with integrated feeding circuits on a conformal surface has comparable performance with that of a copper antenna array at 28 GHz, which is a target frequency in practical 5G applications. The versatility of MXene antennas in wide frequency ranges coupled with the flexibility, scalability, and ease of solution processing makes MXene promising for integrated RF components in various flexible electronic devices.  相似文献

The geometry of cutting flutes and the surfaces of end mills is one of the crucial parameters affecting the quality of the machining in the case of end milling. These are usually represented by two-dimensional models. This paper describes in detail the methodology to model the geometry of a flat end mill in terms of three-dimensional parameters. The geometric definition of the end mill is developed in terms of surface patches; flutes as helicoidal surfaces, the shank as a surface of revolution and the blending surfaces as bicubic Bezier and biparametric sweep surfaces. The proposed model defines the end mill in terms of three-dimensional rotational angles rather than the conventional two dimensional angles. To validate the methodology, the flat end milling cutter is directly rendered in OpenGL environment in terms of three-dimensional parameters. Further, an interface is developed that directly pulls the proposed three-dimensional model defined with the help of parametric equations into a commercial CAD modeling environment. This facilitates a wide range of downstream technological applications. The modeled tool is used for finite element simulations to study the cutting flutes under static and transient dynamic load conditions. The results of stress distribution (von mises stress), translational displacement and deformation are presented for static and transient dynamic analysis for the end mill cutter flute and its body. The method described in this paper offers a simple and intuitive way of generating high-quality end mill models for use in machining process simulations. It can be easily extended to generate other tools without relying on analytical or numerical formulations.  相似文献

A comparison has been made of the relationship between microstructure and microhardness developed by surface melting Nanosteel SHS 7170 Fe–Cr–B alloy powder onto a plain carbon steel surface. This powder was initially developed as a high velocity oxyfuel sprayed coating, giving a strength 10 times that of mild steel, and is particularly suitable for surface protection against wear and corrosion. In the present study, the alloy powder was injected into the laser melted surface, while a preplaced powder was melted using the gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) technique. The laser track consisted of fine dendrites and needle-like microstructures, which produced a maximum hardness value of over 800 HV, while the GTAW track produced a mixture of equiaxed and columnar grain microstructures with a maximum hardness value of 670 HV. The lower hardness values are considered to be associated with dilution and grain size.  相似文献

The effect of additives (surfactants and polymers) and pH on the clouding behavior of promethazine hydrochloride (PMT, a phenothiazine drug) was investigated. Cloud point (CP) decreases with increase in pH due to deprotonation of drug molecules. The same trend occurs in the presence of surfactants. However, at constant pH, and depending on their structure and nature, these additives behave differently. Anionic surfactants show peaked behavior, whereas cationic (conventional as well as geminis) and non-ionic surfactants increase the CP, although the mechanisms differ. Cationic surfactants hinder drug association (due to interaggregate repulsion) resulting in an increase in CP, while non-ionic surfactants form mixed micelles with the drug, increasing micelle hydration and CP. Polymers can cause both a decrease as well as an increase in CP, depending on their molecular weight. A large CP increase (with the increase in surfactant concentration) for gemini surfactants suggests they are excellent candidates for drug delivery.

Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among women globally. It is caused by mutations in the estrogen/progesterone receptors and conventional treatment methods are commonly utilized. About 70–80 percent of individuals with the early-stage non-metastatic disease may be cured. Conventional treatment is far less than the optimal ratio, as demonstrated through the high mortality rate of women with this cancer. However, conventional treatment methods like surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy are not as effective as expected and lead to concerns about low bioavailability, low cellular uptake, emerging resistance, and adverse toxicities. A nanomedicine-based approach is a promising alternative for breast cancer treatment. The present era is witnessing rapid advancements in nanomedicine as a platform for investigating novel therapeutic applications and modern intelligent healthcare management strategies. This paper focuses on nanomedicine-based therapeutic interventions that are becoming more widely accepted for improving treatment effectiveness and reducing undesired side effects in breast cancer patients. By evaluating the state-of-the-art tools and taking the challenges involved into consideration, various aspects of the proposed nano-enabled therapeutic approaches have been discussed in this review.  相似文献

This paper examines the impacts of CO2 emission reduction target and carbon tax on future technologies selection and energy use in Bangladesh power sector during 2005–2035. The analyses are based on a long-term energy system model of Bangladesh using the MARKAL framework. The analysis shows that Bangladesh will not be able to meet the future energy demand without importing energy. However, alternative policies on CO2 emission constraints reduce the burden of imported fuel, improve energy security and reduce environmental impacts. The results show that the introduction of the CO2 emission reduction targets and carbon taxes directly affect the shift of technologies from high carbon content fossil-based to low carbon content fossil-based and clean renewable energy-based technologies compared to the base scenario. With the cumulative CO2 emission reduction target of 10–20% and carbon tax of 2500 Taka/ton, the cumulative net energy imports during 2005–2035 would be reduced in the range of 39–65% and 37%, respectively, compared to the base scenario emission level. The total primary energy requirement would be reduced in the range of 4.5–22.3% in the CO2 emission reduction targets and carbon tax 2500 Taka/ton scenarios and the primary energy supply system would be diversified compared to the base scenario.  相似文献

Current immunosensors have an insufficient number of binding sites for the recognition of biomolecules, which leads to false positive or negative results. In this research, a facile, cost‐effective, disposable, and highly selective electrochemical immunosensing platform is developed based on cationic polyelectrolyte polyallylamine (PAAMI) anchored laser‐ablated graphene (LAG). Here, for the first time, PAAMI is introduced to stabilize LAG flakes, while retaining the intrinsic thermal and electronic properties of the substrate by noncovalent π–π interaction and electrostatic physical absorption. The sensing platform offers a suitable number of anchoring sites for the immobilized antibodies by providing ? NH2 functional groups. The proper grafting of PAAMI is confirmed through X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The immunosensing platform is applied to detect immunoglobulin (IgG) biomarkers as a proof of concept. Under optimized conditions, the sensing platform exhibits a linear range of 0.012–15 and 15–352 ng mL?1 with a limit of detection of 6 pg mL?1 for IgG detection with high selectivity. Based on the analysis, the developed immunosensing platform can be used for point‐of‐care detection of IgG in clinical diagnostic centers. Furthermore, the developed strategy is well suited for the detection of other cancer biomarkers after immobilizing the relevant antibodies.  相似文献
