To date no reliable diagnostic method exists to predict, among the very large and clinically heterogeneous group of Helicobacter pylori‐infected patients, the extremely small group at risk for developing low‐grade gastric MALT lymphoma (LG‐MALT). Search of proteomic biomarkers holds promise for the classification of the H. pylori strains with regard to this severe clinical outcome. In the present study 69 H. pylori strains isolated from patients with two different H. pylori‐associated diseases, duodenal ulcer (DU, n=29) and LG‐MALT (n=40) were used. Protein expression patterns of the strains were analyzed by using the high‐throughput methodology SELDI. Selected proteins were purified by means of chromatographic and electrophoretic methods in view of further sequencing by LC‐MS/MS. Univariate analysis (Mann–Whitney test) of the protein expression patterns generated nine significant biomarkers that can discriminate between H. pylori strains from patients with DU and LG‐MALT. These biomarkers are of low molecular weight, ranging from 6 to 26.6 kDa. Among them, two are overexpressed in LG‐MALT strains and seven – in DU strains. Two biomarker proteins, one overexpressed in LG‐MALT strains (13.2 kDa) and another one – overexpressed in DU strains (26.6 kDa), were purified to homogeneity and identified by using LC‐MS/MS as a 50S ribosomal protein L7/L12 and a urease subunit, respectively. These biomarkers can be included in novel protein arrays for the differential diagnosis of H. pylori‐associated clinical outcomes. 相似文献
A high-accuracy fiber-optic array processor (FOAP) based on the algorithm of digital multiplication by analog convolution is proposed. The FOAP architecture is a local regularly interconnected processor that utilizes an array of identical all-optical elemental-processing lattice units, namely, an optical splitter, an optical combiner, and a binary programmable fiber-optic transversal filter. Various FOAP matrix multipliers are proposed for nonnegative and twos-complement binary arithmetic matrix-vector, matrix-matrix, triple-matrix, and high-order matrix operations. The overall performances of the FOAP matrix multipliers are compared with the time-integrating and space-integrating architectures and with the digital multipliers. Extension of the digital-multiplication-by-analog-convolution algorithm is also considered. 相似文献
The search for more reliable and durable thermal barrier systems is a key factor for future aircraft turbine engines success. Hafnia is therefore an attractive ceramic component due to its similarity to zirconia and its elevated structural transformation temperatures. We report here structural and thermomechanical investigations of various plasma-sprayed coatings composed of ZrO2+x mol% HfO2 (x=0, 25, 50 and 100), partially stabilized by 4.53 mol% yttria. X-ray diffraction studies show that, a metastable, non-transformable, high yttrium content, tetragonal solid solution is the only phase observed on the as-sprayed samples. This phase is crystallographically equivalent to the t phase described for classical yttrium-partially stabilized zirconia (Y-PSZ) thermal barrier coatings (TBCs). Upon high-temperature annealing in air (T=1200C), however, the return of this t phase to equilibrium differs from the classical tt+c reaction. According to literature data, reactions of the type tt+c+m should prevail at the highest hafnia contents (x50). Indeed, important quantities of monoclinic phase are accordingly being observed upon cooling. Thermal cycling of TBC samples in air has been performed at 1100C. The Young's modulus of the ceramic coating, which progressively increases when hafnia is substituted for zirconia, has a strong influence on TBC thermomechanical resistance. 相似文献

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a paradigm that has made everyday objects intelligent by offering them the ability to connect to the Internet and communicate. Integrating the social component into IoT gave rise to the Social Internet of Things (SIoT), which has helped overcome various issues such as heterogeneity and navigability. In this kind of environment, participants compete to offer a variety of attractive services. Nevertheless, some of them resort to malicious behaviour to spread poor-quality services. They perform so-called Trust-Attacks and break the basic functionality of the system. Trust management mechanisms aim to counter these attacks and provide the user with an estimate of the trust degree they can place in other users, thus ensuring reliable and qualified exchanges and interactions. Several works in literature have interfered with this problem and have proposed different Trust-Models. The majority tried to adapt and reapply Trust-Models designed for common social networks or peer-to-peer ones. That is, despite the similarities between these types of networks, SIoT ones present specific peculiarities. In SIoT, users, devices and services are collaborating. Devices entities can present constrained computing and storage capabilities, and their number can reach some millions. The resulting network is complex, constrained and highly dynamic, and the attacks-implications can be more significant. In this paper, we propose DSL-STM a new dynamic and scalable multi-level Trust-Model, specifically designed for SIoT environments. We propose multidimensional metrics to describe and SIoT entities behaviours. The latter are aggregated via a Machine Learning-based method, allowing classifying users, detecting attack types and countering them. Finally, a hybrid propagation method is suggested to spread trust values in the network, while minimizing resource consumption and preserving scalability and dynamism. Experimentation made on various simulated scenarios allows us to prove the resilience and performance of DSL-STM.
While self‐assembled molecular building blocks could lead to many next‐generation functional organic nanomaterials, control over the thin‐film morphologies to yield monolithic sub‐5 nm patterns with 3D orientational control at macroscopic length scales remains a grand challenge. A series of photoresponsive hybrid oligo(dimethylsiloxane) liquid crystals that form periodic cylindrical nanostructures with periodicities between 3.8 and 5.1 nm is studied. The liquid crystals can be aligned in‐plane by exposure to actinic linearly polarized light and out‐of‐plane by exposure to actinic unpolarized light. The photoalignment is most efficient when performed just under the clearing point of the liquid crystal, at which the cylindrical nanostructures are reoriented within minutes. These results allow the generation of highly ordered sub‐5 nm patterns in thin films at macroscopic length scales, with control over the orientation in a noncontact fashion. 相似文献
This paper discusses the effect of porosity and hydrostatic pressure on diffusion kinetics and equilibrium water uptake in a semicrystalline fluoropolymer. Water sorption experiments at atmospheric pressure and under water pressures up to 250 MPa were carried out during 18 months at 40 °C on reference and porous samples. Porosity of samples was induced due to a cavitation process occurring at the highest triaxiality area of waisted and notched specimens during tensile tests. Water uptake was found to be very sensitive to porosity, showing an increase in samples with a high void fraction. On the other hand, water content decreased with increasing pressure suggesting a compaction of the porous space in which water can be stored. Two models describing this water uptake behaviour were considered. The first is a classical model which assumes that sorption occurs only by diffusion following Fick’s law. Fick’s model was found to be in agreement with the experimental results. A “Langmuir-type” sorption model was also proposed to describe water uptake in porous samples, considering a two-phase water transport mechanism: one portion of the absorbed water diffuses through the polymer matrix and the other portion is stored in voids. This model was implemented in a user subroutine using ABAQUS? software and simulations were confronted to experimental sorption curves showing satisfactory agreements. The potential of the Langmuir-type sorption model resides on its availability to be coupled to a poro-mechanical model, in order to improve the understanding of coupling between the mechanical behaviour and water sorption mechanism in a porous polymer. 相似文献
