The accelerator-driven transmutation system has been studied at the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute. This system is a hydrid system which consists of a high intensity accelerator, a spallation target and a subcritical core region. In the conceptual design study, two types of system concepts, sodium cooled and lead-bismuth cooled system, are being studied. In this study, we fucus on our lead-bismuth cooled accelerator-driven transmutation system to investigate basic characteristics. The fuel compositions were optimized for efficient transmutation of minor actinide. The transmutation of long-lived fission products was also considered.  相似文献

The murine mortalin genes, mot-1 and mot-2, are members of the hsp70 family of proteins and differ from each other by only two amino acid residues. Mot-1 is expressed in normal cells and has pancytosolic cellular distribution whereas mot-2 is found in the perinuclear region of immortal cells. We report here that a high level of expression of mot-2 protein resulted in malignant transformation of cells as analysed by anchorage independent growth and nude mice assays. A high level of protein expression is attributed to the 900 bp 3' untranslated region of the cDNA which does not have any transforming activity per se. Mortalin cDNA clones isolated from human transformed cells were also found to have transforming activity in similar assays and a high level of expression was apparent in some of the human immortalized cells that showed non-pancytosolic mortalin immunofluorescence. Taken together, the data suggest that nonpancytosolic mortalin may have a role in tumorigenesis.  相似文献

交通荷载引起的桥梁振动辐射低频噪声为环境噪声污染的重要来源,分析该低频噪声声场分布特性对评价环境噪声污染程度提供重要依据。结合车桥耦合振动理论和声传播理论,建立了车桥耦合振动辐射低频噪声问题的边界元法求解体系,结合一座钢桥面板连续梁桥,对交通荷载作用下桥梁振动产生的低频噪声声场进行了实验分析和数值模拟,并考察了地面的声反射作用对桥梁附近声场分布和声压水平的影响。分析结果表明,边界元方法用于评价车桥振动辐射低频噪声问题具有较好的适用性和较高的精度,并且能够很好地反映声场在空间的分布规律。算例中的钢桥面板梁桥在车辆荷载作用下由振动引起的低频噪声声压水平与测点距离桥面的距离相关,桥面下方和上方的声压分布规律及水平相似。地面声反射对桥面附近声场的影响显著,考虑地面声反射时,地面与桥面间的距离是影响声压水平的重要因素。  相似文献

A back surface illuminated 130/spl times/130 pixel PtSi Schottky-barrier (SB) IR-CCD image sensor has been developed by using new wiring technology, referred to as CLOSE Wiring, CLOSE Wiring, designed to effectively utilize the space over the SB photodiodes, brings about flexibility in clock line designing, high fill factor, and large charge handling capability in a vertical CCD (VCCD). This image sensor uses a progressive scanned interline-scheme, and has a 64.4% fill factor in a 30 /spl mu/m/spl times/30 /spl mu/m pixel, a 3.9 mm/spl times/3.9 mm image area, and a 5.5 mm/spl times/5.5 mm chip size. The charge handling capability for the 3.3 /spl mu/m wide VCCD achieves 9.8/spl times/10/sup 5/ electrons, The noise equivalent temperature difference obtained was 0.099 K for operation at 120 frames/sec with a 50 mm f/1.3 lens.<>  相似文献

The frequency converter combines a feedback amplifier, a differential amplifier, a double-balanced mixer, a voltage-controlled oscillator, and an IF amplifier on a 1-mm2 GaAs chip. The FET circuits were matched by digital IC design rather than by the distributed element network technique, to use the substrate more effectively. Self-aligned WSi/Au gates 1.5 μm long were used, and the resistance in conventional WSi gates was reduced to enhance microwave characteristics. At 4 GHz, the conversion gain is 18 dB, the double-sideband noise is 11.8 dB and the output power is 5.6 dBm  相似文献

Developed a W-band (75-110 GHz) waveguide photomixer with a uni-traveling carrier photodiode, which can be driven by two 1.5-/spl mu/m lasers. It generates an output power of 2.2/spl plusmn/0.2 mW at 100 GHz with a laser power of less than 100 mW, and its relative power variation is as small as 3 dB across the entire frequency range of the W-band. A 100-GHz superconductor-insulator-superconductor receiver driven by this photomixer shows the same noise temperature around 26 K as that driven by a conventional Gunn oscillator.  相似文献

Reliable data are limited to the critical strain for the formation of transverse cracks on the slabs, owing to experimental difficulty to simulate temperature gradient in solidified shell in continuous casting mold. The present study is to determine the critical strain, ?c, for the formation of transverse cracks on continuously cast slabs. A convenient and simple hot tensile test using rectangular test pieces with either V-notch or semi-circle notch or oscillation marks has been developed by placing the specimen under similar temperature gradient to that in solidified shell in the mold. The ?c has been determined at a better accuracy and reproducibility, and the ?c at a strain rate of 5?10?4s?1 is found to be a high 35% for test pieces without notch. It sharply decreases, however, to 10% for those with V- and semi-circle-notches, slightly decreases with increasing notch depth, and further decreases for those with oscillation marks that accompany solute segregation. Reduction of the oscillation mark depth is shown to be important measure to prevent the occurrence of transverse cracking of continuously cast slabs.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: We postulated that pathophysiologic processes under nonpulsatile circulation are related to the behavior of the sympathetic nerve activity that regulates tissue perfusion. METHODS: Pulsatile and nonpulsatile pumps were installed in parallel in the left heart bypass circuit of anesthetized goats (n = 9) so that pulsatile circulation could be converted to nonpulsatile circulation instantly. At 5 minutes before and after systemic depulsation, we measured hemodynamic indices, renal nerve activity, and regional blood flow of the brain, heart, and renal cortex. RESULTS: Renal nerve activity was significantly elevated after systemic depulsation (15.6 +/- 9.3 versus 19.4 +/- 9.8 microV), when mean aortic pressure remained almost constant. The renal cortical flow was significantly reduced after depulsation (3.61 +/- 1.23 versus 2.93 +/- 1.19 mL.min-1.g-1), whereas no significant difference was found in the regional blood flow of the brain or the heart. CONCLUSIONS: The significant reduction of renal cortical blood flow after systemic depulsation is associated with a significant increase in renal nerve activity. Our results suggest that increased renal nerve activity plays an important role in the reduction of renal function after systemic depulsation.  相似文献

The search for reliable marker molecules discriminating between human Th1 and Th2 cells identified a gene encoding a novel member of the G protein-coupled leukocyte chemoattractant receptor family, which is selectively expressed in Th2 but not Th1 lineage cells, thereby named CRTH2 (chemoattractant receptor-homologous molecule expressed on Th2 cells). Studies with anti-CRTH2 mAbs demonstrated that CRTH2 was expressed in a small population (0.4-6.5%) of CD4+ T cells in fresh PBMCs of healthy adults, but no remarkable expression was seen in B cells and NK cells. In some cases, CD8+ T cells ( approximately 3.5%) expressed CRTH2. Phenotypes of CD4+ T cells expressing CRTH2 were CD45RA-, CD45RO+, and CD25+, similar to those of Ag-activated effector/memory T cells. Freshly isolated CRTH2+ CD4+ T cells produced Th2- but little or no Th1-type cytokines upon stimulation with PMA and ionomycin. In addition, an allergen-induced proliferative response in fresh PBMCs was significantly and selectively reduced by subtracting CRTH2+ cells. Together, these results indicate that CRTH2 is selectively expressed in vivo in an activated state of Th2 cells including allergen-responsive Th2 cells, suggesting its pivotal roles in ongoing Th2-type immune reactions.  相似文献
