The interaction between the construction market and the overall economy has attracted much attention, but few studies have investigated the influence of the property market on the construction market in terms of property price. The disaggregated data of Hong Kong’s housing and retail construction sectors are collected to investigate the impact of property price on construction output. The newly developed autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing approach and the error correction (EC)-based Granger causality test are employed. The bounds testing results suggest that there exist stable long-run relationships between construction output and property price for both housing and retail construction sectors. Specifically, a 1.00% increase in the housing price and retail price lead to a 0.55% and 0.42% increase in construction outputs for the two sectors respectively. In addition, the Granger causality tests confirm a distinct long-run causal flow from property price to construction output. Furthermore, the proposed ARDL approach provides an effective method for forecasting construction output. 相似文献

The sterol substrate analog 25-thialanosterol and its corresponding sulfonium salt were evaluated for their ability to serve
as antifungal agents and to inhibit sterol methyltransferase (SMT) activity in Candida albicans. Both compounds inhibited cell proliferation, were fungistatic, interrupted the yeastlike-form to germ-tube-form transition,
and resulted in the accumulation of zymosterol and related Δ24-sterols concurrent with a decrease in ergosterol, as was expected for the specific inhibition of SMT activity. Feedback on
sterol synthesis was evidenced by elevated levels of cellular sterols in treated vs. control cultures. However, neither farnesol
nor squalene accumulated in significant amounts in treated cultures, suggesting that carbon flux is channeled from the isoprenoid

The influence of cashew nut shell oil (CNO), epoxidized soybean oil (ESO), castor oil (CO), and dioctyl phtalate (DOP) on the photocrosslinking kinetics of UV curable mixtures containing an o-cresol novolac epoxy resin (CNE), a bis-cycloaliphatic diepoxide monomer (BCDE), and a triarylsulfonium salt (TAS) as a cationic photoinitiator has been studied. The formulation with a weight ratio CNE/BCDE/TAS of 60/40/5 was found to have the highest cure rate and the greatest final conversion of epoxy groups upon UV exposure. The presence of an unsaturated oil or of DOP in the UV curable formulation, at a content ranging from 0.07 to 0.79 mol/kg, was shown to increase the initial polymerization rate of the epoxy groups from 12 up to 31 mol/kg s, and the epoxy conversion after 18 s UV exposure from 80 up to 95%. It was found that the UV cured coatings containing CNO or DOP at concentrations between 0.3 and 0.6 mol/kg and ESO at concentrations between 0.12 and 0.19 mol/kg exhibit the best performance. These results were explained by a number of competitive factors, mainly the effects of the chemical structure and content of the oils and of DOP on the polarity, viscosity, compatibility, and internal filter effect of the UV curable resins, as well as by the characteristics of the tridimensional polymer networks formed upon UV exposure. The materials produced under the optimal conditions determined in this study can be used as high performance decorative and protective coatings and also as adhesives in different sectors of applications. 相似文献

The relaxor ferroelectric Pb0.9La0.1(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 (PLZT) thin films were deposited using pulsed laser deposition, and their microstructures, break-down field strengths and energy storage performances were investigated as a function of the buffer layer and electrode. A large recoverable energy-storage density (Ureco) of 23.2 J/cm3 and high energy-storage efficiency (η) of 91.6% obtained in the epitaxial PLZT film grown on SrRuO3/SrTiO3/Si are much higher than those in the textured PLZT film (Ureco = 21.9 J/cm3, η = 87.8%) on SrRuO3/Ca2Nb3O10-nanosheet/Si and the polycrystalline PLZT film (Ureco = 17.6 J/cm3, η = 82.6%) on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si, under the same condition of 1500 kV/cm and 1 kHz, due to the slim polarization loop and significant antiferroelectric-like behavior. Owing to the high break-down strength (BDS) of 2500 kV/cm, a giant Ureco value of 40.2 J/cm3 was obtained for the epitaxial PLZT film, in which Ureco values of 28.4 J/cm3 (at BDS of 2000 kV/cm) and 20.2 J/cm3 (at BDS of 1700 kV/cm), respectively, were obtained in the textured and polycrystalline PLZT films. In this paper a new lumped-distributed small-signal and noise model is presented for a class of transit-time semiconductor devices including the IMPATT, BARITT, Transferred Electron and Space Charge Limited (SCL) diodes. The assumption of uniform carrier velocity is made and diffusion is neglected. The diode-model is composed of lumped elements and dispersionless transmission lines, hence it is very suitable for computer-aided circuit analysis.
