Cereal-based confectionery products being consumed through whole human life are considered mainly to be a source of carbohydrates, that is energy, although cereals are a rich source of minerals as well. To evaluate some hard biscuits produced in Croatia as a source of different trace elements in nutrition, in this study Zn and Cu contents were determined in classic wheat flour biscuits and in dietetic biscuits enriched with whole wheat grain flour or whole wheat grain grits, soya flour and skimmed milk. Zn was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS); Cu was determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES). The results show that the Zn content in different kinds of biscuits ranges from 5.89 up to 17.64 mg/kg and the Cu content ranges from 1.15 up to 2.79 mg/kg depending on the type of wheat milling products and mineral content of other ingredients used. Enriched dietetic biscuits produced from wheat flour type 850 and whole wheat grain flour and/or soya flour and skimmed milk were almost 200% and 150% higher in Zn and Cu, respectively, in comparison to classic white wheat flour biscuits and can be considered as good sources of Zn and Cu in nutrition.  相似文献

In 2007 and 2008, a monitoring study was carried out in Poland to examine the occurrence of thermotolerant Campylobacter spp. in raw and cooked chicken products available on the retail market. A total of 912 samples were tested: 443 samples of raw chicken meat, 146 samples of giblets, and 323 ready-to-eat poultry products (150 samples of spit-roasted chicken, 56 samples of smoked chicken, and 117 samples of paté and cold meats). A high level of contamination of raw chicken meat (51.7% of samples) and chicken giblets (47.3% of samples) was detected. However, thermotolerant Campylobacter spp. were found in only 1.2% of the ready-to-eat poultry products.  相似文献

Babies and small children are especially sensitive population to the exposure to environmental contaminants. Their small mass and developing systems, including brain development may show adverse health effects from even low levels of contamination on a chronic or single dose case. In this paper one extraction method and two chromatographic techniques for the determination of pesticide residues in baby food were evaluated. A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry technique combined with electrospray ionization (ESI), (LC–MS/MS) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry detection (GC–MSD) technique were applied in the detection of 50 pesticides in baby food. So-called QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) method was used as a sample preparation procedure. The recoveries were investigated at three levels (5, 10 and 50 μg/kg) and the results obtained showed compliance with the contemporary EU requirements with a few exceptions. LOQs for most of the tested pesticides were below the EU MRLs (10 μg/kg), except deltamethrin, cypermethrin, fenvalerate, phosalone and beta-cyfluthrin (LOQs were 10 μg/kg). Both techniques were applied in the analysis of 50 samples of baby food manufactured in Serbia.  相似文献

This study was conducted to investigate the influence of different drying treatments on antioxidant (AO) activity and phenolic content of raspberry (Rubus idaeus), cultivar Willamette. Whole raspberry fruits were dried convectively (air-drying), osmotically, and freeze-dried. Acetone-water extracts of fresh and dried raspberries were assessed for total phenolic content by standard Folin-Ciocalteau method. Two AO assays were applied, a recently developed direct current (DC) polarographic assay based on decrease of anodic oxidation current of hydrogen peroxide and widely used radical scavenge against the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). Strong correlation has been obtained between both AO assays and total phenolic content. In addition, some individual phenolic compounds present in raspberry have been assessed using DPPH and DC polarographic assay. Comparison and evaluation of drying methods has been based on preservation of AO activity and total phenolic content. Obtained results confirmed superiority of freeze-drying; convective drying caused slight changes while osmotic dehydration showed a significant decrease of phenolic compounds and AO activity.  相似文献

The goal of this article is to apply the regional atmospheric numerical weather prediction Eta model and describe its performance in validation of the wind forecasts for wind power plants. Wind power generation depends on wind speed. Wind speed is converted into power through characteristic curve of a wind turbine. The forecasting of wind speed and wind power has the same principle.Two sets of Eta model forecasts are made: one with a coarse resolution of 22 km, and another with a nested grid of 3.5 km, centered on the Nasudden power plants, (18.22°E, 57.07°N; 3 m) at island Gotland, Sweden. The coarse resolution forecasts were used for the boundary conditions of the nested runs. Verification is made for the nested grid model, for summers of 1996–1999, with a total number of 19 536 pairs of forecast and observed winds. The Eta model is compared against the wind observed at the nearest surface station and against the wind turbine tower 10 m wind. As a separate effort, the Eta model wind is compared against the wind from tower observations at a number of levels (38, 54, 75 and 96 m).Four common measures of accuracy relative to observations - mean difference (bias), mean absolute difference, root mean square difference and correlation coefficient are evaluated. In addition, scatter plots of the observed and predicted pairs at 10 and 96 m are generated. Average overall results of the Eta model 10 m wind fits to tower observations are: mean difference (bias) of 0.48 m/s, mean absolute difference of 1.14 m/s, root mean square difference of 1.38 m/s, and the correlation coefficient of 0.79. Average values for the upper tower observation levels are the mean difference (bias) of 0.40 m/s; mean absolute difference of 1.46 m/s; root mean square difference of 1.84 m/s and the correlation coefficient of 0.80.  相似文献

The effect of reaction temperature, mixing speed and oxidant to catalyst volume ratio, including their interactions on the oxidative desulfurization of dibenzothiophene by using response surface methodology was studied. Hydrogen peroxide was used as oxidant and acetic acid as catalyst. The obtained model accurately predicts conversion of dibenzothiophene and the best conversion of 98.7% was observed at temperature 70°C, mixing speed of 1250 rpm and oxidant to catalyst volume ratio of 1:1. At high temperatures, a major limitation of the desulfurization process is the mass transfer and the high mixing speed is needed to achieve an efficient process.  相似文献

Quantum Key Recycling (QKR) is a quantum cryptographic primitive that allows one to reuse keys in an unconditionally secure way. By removing the need to repeatedly generate new keys, it improves communication efficiency. ?kori? and de Vries recently proposed a QKR scheme based on 8-state encoding (four bases). It does not require quantum computers for encryption/decryption but only single-qubit operations. We provide a missing ingredient in the security analysis of this scheme in the case of noisy channels: accurate upper bounds on the required amount of privacy amplification. We determine optimal attacks against the message and against the key, for 8-state encoding as well as 4-state and 6-state conjugate coding. We provide results in terms of min-entropy loss as well as accessible (Shannon) information. We show that the Shannon entropy analysis for 8-state encoding reduces to the analysis of quantum key distribution, whereas 4-state and 6-state suffer from additional leaks that make them less effective. From the optimal attacks we compute the required amount of privacy amplification and hence the achievable communication rate (useful information per qubit) of qubit-based QKR. Overall, 8-state encoding yields the highest communication rates.  相似文献

This research shows the effect of simultaneous contrast on a design solution that generates it, and it also shows how its manifestation affects the shift of perception attributes of the observer's color. In the conducted research, 55 subjects had to harmonize the primary stimuli from the reproduction obtained with the help of digital printing technology, with the primary stimuli presented on two computer screens. As a visual harmonization technique, simultaneous binocular harmonization was used. The primary stimuli were made achromatic, with a 50% Raster Tone value (RTV), and are surrounded by achromatic secondary stimuli whose values increase in steps from 10% RTV up to 100% RTV. A shift in the perceptual attributes of color has been shown with the help of the CIEDE2000 system. Using ANOVA with repeated-measures and Fisher's post hoc analysis, statistically significant differences were found between the perceived means of shift in the ΔC00 chroma and ΔL00 lightness on defined samples on both computer screens, while in the case of the ΔH00 hue, no statistically significant differences were observed. The research also determined colorimetric differences in the ΔE00 color difference. Moreover, the student's t test was used to determine that the effect is stronger when manifested on the Lenovo computer than on the Asus computer screen (P < .05).  相似文献
