The fault diagnosis in wireless sensor networks is one of the most important topics in the recent years of research work. The problem of fault diagnosis in wireless sensor network can be resembled with artificial immune system in many different ways. In this paper, a detection algorithm has been proposed to identify faulty sensor nodes using clonal selection principle of artificial immune system, and then the faults are classified into permanent, intermittent, and transient fault using the probabilistic neural network approach. After the actual fault status is detected, the faulty nodes are isolated in the isolation phase. The performance metrics such as detection accuracy, false alarm rate, false‐positive rate, fault classification accuracy, false classification rate, diagnosis latency, and energy consumption are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm gives superior results as compared with existing algorithms in terms of the performance metrics. The fault classification performance is measured by fault classification accuracy and false classification rate. It has also seen that the proposed algorithm provides less diagnosis latency and consumes less energy than that of the existing algorithms proposed by Mohapatra et al, Panda et al, and Elhadef et al for wireless sensor network.  相似文献

Complementary circuits based on organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) are attractive for the development of inexpensive and disposable point-of-care bioelectronic devices. Ambipolar OECTs, which employ a single channel material, could decrease the fabrication complexity and manufacturing costs of such circuits. An ideal channel material for ambipolar OECTs should be electrochemically stable in aqueous environments, afford facile ion insertion for both cations and anions, and also facilitate high and balanced electron and hole transport. In this study, triethylene glycol functionalized diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-based polymer is proposed for the development of ambipolar OECTs. It is shown that DPP-based OECTs have a high and comparable figure of merit for both n- and p-type operations. Logic NOT, NAND, and NOR operations with corresponding complementary circuits constructed from identical DPP-based OECT devices are demonstrated. This study is an important step toward the development of sophisticated complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor-like logic circuits using single-component OECTs.  相似文献

Engineering synthetic interfaces between membranes has potential applications in designing non-native cellular communication pathways and creating synthetic tissues. Here, InterSpy is introduced as a synthetic biology tool consisting of a heterodimeric protein engineered to form and maintain membrane–membrane interfaces between apposing synthetic as well as cell membranes through the SpyTag/SpyCatcher interaction. The inclusion of split fluorescent protein fragments in InterSpy allows tracking of the formation of a membrane–membrane interface and reconstitution of functional fluorescent protein in the space between apposing membranes. First, InterSpy is demonstrated by testing split protein designs using a mammalian cell-free expression (CFE) system. By utilizing co-translational helix insertion, cell-free synthesized InterSpy fragments are incorporated into the membrane of liposomes and supported lipid bilayers with the desired topology. Functional reconstitution of split fluorescent protein between the membranes is strictly dependent on SpyTag/SpyCatcher. Finally, InterSpy is demonstrated in mammalian cells by detecting fluorescence reconstitution of split protein at the membrane–membrane interface between two cells each expressing a component of InterSpy. InterSpy demonstrates the power of CFE systems in the functional reconstitution of synthetic membrane interfaces via proximity-inducing proteins. This technology may also prove useful where cell-cell contacts and communication are recreated in a controlled manner using minimal components.  相似文献

In recent decades, bioactive peptides have attracted increasing interest as health promoting functional foods. A variety of naturally formed bioactive peptides have been found in fermented dairy products such as yogurt, sour milk, and cheese. Initially these peptides are inactive within the sequence of the parent protein molecule and can be generated by gastrointestinal digestion of milk, fermentation of milk with proteolytic starter cultures, and/or hydrolysis by proteolytic enzymes. Milk derived peptides exert a number of health beneficial activities, even upon oral administration. Bioactive peptides have a great impact on major body systems including the digestive, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, diabetes type II, obesity, and immune systems. Antimicrobial peptides are also an important ingredient of innate immunity, especially at mucosal surfaces such as lungs and small intestine that are constantly exposed to a range of potential pathogens. Therefore, it plays an important role in boosting natural immune protection by reducing the risk of chronic diseases. Bioactive peptides are considered as potent drugs with well-defined pharmacological residues and also used to formulate health-enhancing nutraceuticals.  相似文献

The effect of MgO additive on the structural, microstructural and hardness properties of zirconia mullite (MUZ) has been discussed. The MgO additive in MUZ not only stabilizes the cubic zirconia phase but also acts as a sintering aid for the formation of cross-linked mullite grains. The electron micrographs of plasma fused MgO–MUZ shows a uniform arrangement of platelet structure of mullite and dendrite structure of zirconia on mullite surface. The micrograph of plasma sintered composites shows a ladder like structure and a complete cross-linked mullite grains whereas the surface morphology of conventionally sintered composites clearly indicates the presence of small and big grains close packed to each other. Appreciable hardness and higher optical band gap have been observed for plasma fused MgO–MUZ composites. A complete dissociation of sillimanite and zircon has been occurred in plasma fused composites for the complete conversion of MUZ whereas the complete dissociation of sillimanite and zircon has not observed in plasma sintered and conventionally sintered composites. These observations have been realized from the X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared studies.  相似文献

Isomorphously substituted cobalt(II) hexagonal mesoporous aluminophosphate (CoHMA) molecular sieves were synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by various analytical and spectroscopic techniques. It was deduced that cobalt ions exhibit a divalent oxidation state in tetrahedral coordination in mesoporous aluminophosphates. Further, unlike cobalt-containing microporous aluminophosphate molecular sieves, Co(II) ions remain in a tetrahedral geometry even after calcination. The catalytic activity of CoHMA was tested for the cyclohexane oxidation reaction under mild conditions. Remarkable substrate conversion and product (cyclohexanol) selectivity were obtained compared to several previously reported heterogeneous catalysts.  相似文献

The solubility of tri-iso-amyl phosphate (TiAP) in supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) was determined at 313–333 K with pressure ranging from 10 to 25 MPa. The solubility data of TiAP in SCCO2 medium were correlated using four semi-empirical models. Selective extraction of uranium from simulated dissolver solution was demonstrated using SCCO2 modified with TiAP. The extraction efficiency of uranium was found to be 95 ± 5%. The influence of temperature, pressure and acidity on the extraction of uranium was studied. An attempt was made to explain the plausible extraction mechanism.  相似文献

Interpenetrating Polymer Networks, from glycerol modified linseed oil polyurethanes and cardanol-based dyes, which are yet to be extensively studied were synthesized using benzoyl peroxide as initiator and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as cross-linker. These polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra, thermal analysis techniques such as thermogravimetric analysis, derivative thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis. The kinetic parameters such as activation energy and orders of reaction were ascertained using Freeman-Carroll and Freeman-Anderson methods. The effects of changes in polyurethane to dye monomer weight ratio on the properties of such polymers were investigated at 1.2 and 1.6 NCO/OH ratios.  相似文献

This work presents experimental, modeling and simulation studies for Co2+ ion extraction using hollow fiber supported liquid membrane (HFSLM) operated in a recycling mode. Extractant di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) diluted with kerosene has been used as the membrane phase. The Co2+ ion concentration in the aqueous feed phase was varied in the range of 1–3 mM. Also, D2EHPA concentration was varied in the range of 10–30% (v/v). A mass transfer model has been developed considering the complexation and de-complexation reactions to be fast and at equilibrium. Equations for extractant mass balance and counter-ion (H+) transport have also been incorporated in the model. Extraction equilibrium constant (Kex) for cobalt–D2EHPA system has been estimated from equilibration experiments and found to be 3.48 × 10−6. It was observed that the model results are in good agreement with the experimental data when diffusivity of metal-complex (Dm) through the membrane phase is 1.5 × 10−10 m2/s. Feed phase pH and strip phase acidity had negligible effect on the extraction profiles of Co2+ ions. An increase in D2EHPA concentration increased extraction rates of Co2+ ions. The membrane phase diffusion step was found to be the controlling resistance to mass transfer.  相似文献
