Breast cancer is a diverse disease caused by mutations in multiple genes accompanying epigenetic aberrations of hazardous genes and protein pathways, which distress tumor-suppressor genes and the expression of oncogenes. Alteration in any of the several physiological mechanisms such as cell cycle checkpoints, DNA repair machinery, mitotic checkpoints, and telomere maintenance results in genomic instability. Theranostic has the potential to foretell and estimate therapy response, contributing a valuable opportunity to modify the ongoing treatments and has developed new treatment strategies in a personalized manner. “Omics” technologies play a key role while studying genomic instability in breast cancer, and broadly include various aspects of proteomics, genomics, metabolomics, and tumor grading. Certain computational techniques have been designed to facilitate the early diagnosis of cancer and predict disease-specific therapies, which can produce many effective results. Several diverse tools are used to investigate genomic instability and underlying mechanisms. The current review aimed to explore the genomic landscape, tumor heterogeneity, and possible mechanisms of genomic instability involved in initiating breast cancer. We also discuss the implications of computational biology regarding mutational and pathway analyses, identification of prognostic markers, and the development of strategies for precision medicine. We also review different technologies required for the investigation of genomic instability in breast cancer cells, including recent therapeutic and preventive advances in breast cancer.  相似文献

A mathematical model of wire-coating based on Giesekus constitutive equation is analyzed under isothermal conditions. It is desired to see the functional dependence of Giesekus model parameters on the important operating variables in the wire-coating process, which include volumetric flow rate (later referred to as flow rate), shear stress at the wire surface (later referred to as shear stress), force required for pulling the wire (later referred to as force), and radius of the coated wire (later referred to as coated wire thickness). To this end, the equation governing the laminar, incompressible, and rectilinear flow is first derived and then solved analytically for the case of vanishing axial pressure gradient. A numerical procedure is described to obtain the solution for the case of nonvanishing pressure gradient. Our results indicate that the magnitude of shear stress and force follow a decreasing trend with increasing Giesekus model parameters in both cases. The flow rate and coated wire thickness decrease on increasing the Giesekus model parameters when there is no imposed pressure gradient. However, in the presence of pressure gradient these variables first decrease with increasing Giesekus model parameters and then follow an increasing trend.  相似文献

For precise and accurate patient dose delivery,the dosimetry system must be calibrated properly according to the recommendations of standard dosimetry protocols such as TG-51 and TRS-398. However, the dosimetry protocol followed by a calibration laboratory is usually different from the protocols that are followed by different clinics, which may result in variations in the patient dose.Our prime objective in this study was to investigate the effect of the two protocols on dosimetry measurements.Dose measurements were performed for a Co-60 teletherapy unit and a high-energy Varian linear accelerator with 6 and 15 MV photon and 6, 9, 12, and 15 MeV electron beams, following the recommendations and procedures of the AAPM TG-51 and IAEA TRS-398 dosimetry protocols. The dosimetry systems used for this study were calibrated in a Co-60 radiation beam at the Secondary Standard Dosimetry Laboratory(SSDL) PINSTECH,Pakistan, following the IAEA TRS-398 protocol. The ratio of the measured absorbed doses to water in clinical setting,D_w(TG-51/TRS-398), was 0.999 and 0.997 for 6 and15 MV photon beams,whereas these ratios were 1.013,1.009, 1.003, and 1.000 for 6, 9, 12, and 15 MeV electron beams, respectively. This difference in the absorbed dosesto-water D_w ratio may be attributed mainly due to beam quality(K_Q) and ion recombination correction factor.  相似文献

Since colossal ionic conductivity was detected in the planar heterostructures consisting of fluorite and perovskite,heterostructures have drawn great research interest as potential electrolytes for solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs).However,so far,the practical uses of such promising material have failed to materialize in SOFCs due to the short circuit risk caused by SrTiO3.In this study,a series of fluorite/perovskite heterostructures made of Sm-doped CeO2 and SrTiO3(SDC–STO)are developed in a new bulk-heterostructure form and evaluated as electrolytes.The prepared cells exhibit a peak power density of 892 mW cm−2 along with open circuit voltage of 1.1 V at 550°C for the optimal composition of 4SDC–6STO.Further electrical studies reveal a high ionic conductivity of 0.05–0.14 S cm^−1 at 450–550°C,which shows remarkable enhancement compared to that of simplex SDC.Via AC impedance analysis,it has been shown that the small grain-boundary and electrode polarization resistances play the major roles in resulting in the superior performance.Furthermore,a Schottky junction effect is proposed by considering the work functions and electronic affinities to interpret the avoidance of short circuit in the SDC–STO cell.Our findings thus indicate a new insight to design electrolytes for low-temperature SOFCs.  相似文献

摘要:以丙烯酰胺(AM)、2-丙烯酰胺-十二烷基磺酸钠(AMC12S)、疏水单体GTE-10为原料,通过反相乳液聚合法制备了一种缔合型耐盐聚合物p(AM/AMC12S/GTE-10)。通过FTIR、1HNMR、SEM、TEM及激光粒度分析仪对其结构和形貌进行表征,并对其流变性能进行评价。结果表明,疏水单体GTE-10成功引入聚合物中,聚合完成后的乳液粒径分布集中且均一,盐的加入使得p(AM/AMC12S/GTE-10)分子聚集态更紧密,形成的空间网络结构更稳定。质量分数为0.7%的p(AM/AMC12S/GTE-10)聚合物水溶液在140 ℃时表现出较好的耐温性能;在120 ℃,170 s-1条件下剪切1 h,在质量浓度为20000 mg/L的NaCl和CaCl2水溶液中分别配制质量分数0.7%的聚合物溶液,其黏度分别为64.7和54.2 mPa·s;触变性能测试表明,聚合物具有较好的剪切恢复性能;黏弹性测试结果表明,盐水条件下储能模量(G′)>损耗模量(G″),金属离子与苯氧乙烯基发生络合反应,使分子间作用力增强,形成的空间结构更稳定且难被破坏,黏弹性更高。  相似文献

Here in, we report the charge transport mechanism in semiconducting La0.5Ca0.5Mn0.5Fe0.5O3 (LCMFO) polycrystalline material synthesized via sol–gel auto combustion route. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the orthorhombic phase of the prepared material. Temperature dependent resistivity and impedance spectroscopy measurements have been carried out to probe the dielectric and electrical conduction mechanism which revealed a change of Mott variable range to the small polaronic hopping conduction mechanism around 303 K. The complex impedance and modulus spectra undoubtedly showed the contribution of both grain and grain boundary effect on the conduction properties of LCMFO. An equivalent circuit [(RgbQgb) (RgQg)] model has been used to address the electrical parameters associated with the different phases (grains and grain boundaries) having different relaxation times. The values of resistances of two phases obtained after fitting the equivalent circuit in the nyquist plot have been analyzed which confirmed the change of conduction mechanism around 303 K. The resultant change in conduction mechanism is also supported by the conductivity plots.  相似文献
