The controller in a pulse-width-modulation (PWM) power converter has to stabilize the system and guarantee an almost constant output voltage in spite of the perturbations in the input voltage and output load over as large a bandwidth as possible. Boost and flyback power converters have a right-half-plane zero (RHPZ) in their transfer function from the duty cycle to the output voltage, which makes it difficult to achieve the aforementioned goals. Here, the authors propose to design a controller using H∞ control theory, via the solution of two algebraic Riccati equations. The almost optimal H∞ controller is of the same order as the converter and has a relatively low DC gain. The closed-loop characteristics of a typical low-power boost power converter with four different control schemes were compared by computer simulation. The H∞ control was found to be superior in a wide frequency range, while being outperformed by the others at extremely low frequencies. The role of a variety of compounds including organic acids, vitamins, growth promoting substances, purines and pyrimidines in the bioconversion of cortisol with Bacillus cereus was investigated. The transformation of cortisol to prednisolone and pregn-4-en-11beta, 17alpha,20beta, 21-tetrol-3-one was affected by these compounds in different manners. The enzymatic delta1-dehydrogenation reaction was greatly induced with fumarate, menadione, and xanthine treatments. Pure ethylene-co-vinyl acetate (EVA) and its conductive blend-nanocomposite with polypyrrole (PPy)/carbon black (CB) were prepared using a melt mixing process. Dynamic mechanical analysis and non-isothermal thermal gravimetrical analysis were performed on the samples. The storage modulus, loss modulus, and damping factor of the EVA/PPy/CB nanocomposites were significantly affected by the incorporation of PPy/CB. Two thermal decomposition stages were detected for pure and blended nanocomposite samples. Peak analysis was used to deconvolve the first complex decomposition stage. The Coats-Redfern method was used to determine the kinetic parameters. Improving the thermal and mechanical properties of the EVA co-polymer will enable the three-phase blend/nanocomposites to be used in several industrial applications. 相似文献

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) induced intracellular calcium increase in taste receptor cells purified from mouse circumvallate papillae. We have demonstrated that DHA and EPA induced calcium increase respectively via cPLA2 (cytosolic phospholipase A2) type lVc and calcium independent iPLA2 (phospholipase A2) type VI. Intracellular calcium increases via PLC (phospholipase C) pathway and leads to a calcium effiux and further SOC (stored operated calcium) channels activation. An abundant increase in intracellular calcium will induce exocytosis of neurotransmitters into the extracellular medium. Our results suggest that DHA and EPA induced calcium signaling, and should be implicated in the transmission of lipid gustatory information to afferent nerve fibers, as shown previously with linoleic acid. 相似文献

Abstract One of the most basic optical ‘components’ is free-space propagation. A common approximation used when calculating the resultant field distribution after propagation is the Fresnel integral. This integral can be evaluated in two ways: directly or by using the angular spectrum. In this paper, we estimate the regions in which each mode of evaluation is preferable according to computing efficiency and accuracy considerations.
