We report on the corrosion of austenitic (AISI304) and duplex (2205) stainless steels in H2O/KOH 50% at 120 °C. The research is based on a combination of electrochemical, structural and compositional analyses, aimed at assessing the surface modifications resulting from anodic attack and their impact on corrosion resistance. Linear sweep voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectrometry measurements were carried out in an air‐tight high‐temperature cell. In‐plane and cross‐sectional SEM micrography, X‐ray diffractometry and EDX profiling were used to characterise samples attacked under electrochemically controlled conditions. Electrochemical results have shown that AISI304 exhibits a complex passivating behaviour, while the anodic electrokinetics of the duplex is characterised by mixed kinetic control. AISI304 was found to fail by intergranular corrosion and to be covered: in passive conditions by acicular compounds and in transpassive conditions by a compact layer of corrosion products. Duplex samples, instead, exhibit an uniform form of corrosion morphology and bear a compact layer of corrosion products both in passive and in transpassive conditions.  相似文献

Fluorescence depolarization and quenching measurements of N‐vinyl carbazole/vinyl tert‐butyl‐benzoate copolymers in dilute solution of several fluid solvents and in a rigid poly(methyl methacrylate) matrix were performed to study the effect of copolymer composition on the intramolecular energy transfer (IET) between carbazole groups (Cz) along the polymer chain. IET efficiency, as the amount of Cz? Cz intramolecular excimer formation, monotonically increases with Cz content up to a number average sequence length of carbazole of ca 12 (Cz molar content ≥ 90%). After this value, IET efficiency remains almost constant. Molecular dynamics simulations on isotactic and syndiotactic copolymer fragments of several monomer compositions were used for obtaining different parameters related to the efficiency for the IET process between Cz units along the polymer chain. Thirty commercially available Italian carbonic macerated young red wines, have been analysed by HPLC–DAD–MS with the aim to characterise their pigment composition and find possible correlations with the colour features evaluated by means of spectrophotometric measurements. The composition in anthocyanin monoglucosides, acetates, p-coumarates as well as that in pyranoanthocyanins and direct and ethyl-bridged adducts with flavanols, was studied. Because of the peculiar maceration process, carbonic macerated wines demonstrated to be qualitatively rich in pyranoanthocyanins and pigment adducts. A number of ethyl-bridged anthocyanin isomers was found, together with significant contents of vitisin A and vitisin B (up to 15.5 mg/L as a sum). Malvidin-3-glc-4-vinylphenol was the main pyranoanthocyanin-vinylphenol adduct (up to 1.10 mg/L). The colour features of the wines were broadly distributed as a consequence of the percentage of carbonic macerated wine present in the marketed product. The statistical treatment of the entire data set revealed that pyranoanthocyanins are positively correlated with colour density (while no correlation was found for monoglucosides) and that direct adducts and/or ethyl-bridged compounds can play a role for what concerns the hue of carbonic macerated wines.  相似文献

Nanosized powders of La0.80Sr0.20Fe0.95Cu0.05O3?w were investigated in terms of structural, morphological, chemical and surface properties by using several characterization techniques. The XPS and IR measurements showed the presence of surface hydroxide and carbonates species. After calcination of the powders at 900 °C the amount of carbonates decreased but was still significant. The sensing activity of thick film based on La0.80Sr0.20Fe0.95Cu0.05O3?w was tested as a function of relative humidity and the results indicate that (i) after one year of ambient storage the sensing material lost quite completely its sensitivity to humidity, (ii) the sensing activity of the film was mostly re-activated after a thermal treatment at 900 °C for 2 h, and (iii) the huge shift of the detection limit to low RH caused by the presence of 5 mol% Cu is also restored.  相似文献

A new co-oligomer constituted by both a thiophene sequence bearing a 3,4-dialkyl substitution, imparting processability, and by end-capping fluorenone moieties, has been synthesised. The molecule, potentially suitable for close-packing aptness, has been characterized by means of combined optical, thermal, structural, and morphological analyses, showing that, despite the O–H intermolecular interaction favoured by fluorenone presence, the large steric hindrance specific to the dialkyl 3,4-disubstitution strongly limits the intermolecular interaction. Hence it makes such substitution pattern unsuitable for field effect transistor application, as it is confirmed by the electrical performances measured on prototype devices.  相似文献

Volatile and semi-volatile compounds of French and American oak wood used in wine and spirits ageing were extracted by an Accelerated Solvent Extractor (ASE) and analysed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. More than 90 compounds were isolated, characterised and quantified after being separated on two chromatographic columns with distinct polarity. The main oak wood components were quantitatively determined by using standard reference compounds. In addition, a number of compounds, mainly guaiacol and syringol derivatives, were detected and characterised. In particular, 10 compounds were tentatively identified as lignin dimers derivatives, whose presence in oak wood chips or barrels for wine and spirits ageing had not been previously described. Several of the characterised compounds enabled a distinction to be drawn between medium and high toasted wood chips, independently of their geographical origin.  相似文献

Our previous studies demonstrated that matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-9) levels were significantly higher in human glioblastoma tissue samples than in low-grade brain tumors and normal brain tissue (Rao et al., Cancer Res. 53, 2208-2211, 1993). In the present study, we measured the levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 during the growth of glial tumors in nude mice by intracerebral injection of glioblastoma cells. Using gelatin zymography, densitometry, and an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, we found that the enzyme activity and protein count of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were a respective 3- to 10- and 2- to 30-fold higher in tumors at day 14 and 28 than in normal tissue. Immunohistochemical staining for MMP-9 showed strong immunoreactivity in tumor cells and the staining intensity was much higher at day 28, compared to day 14. These results suggest that upregulation of MMP-9 plays a major role in the glioma tumor growth in vivo.  相似文献

A novel encapsulation structure to protect organic thin film transistors against oxygen and moisture contaminations is presented. The sealing architecture is comprised of three-layers: aluminum oxide deposited by means of Atomic Layer Deposition is the actual capping layer, while cross-linked poly-vinylphenol and poly-vinylphenol prevent the contamination/damage of the underlying organic semiconductor during the oxide growth. The process has negligible impact on device mobility but it enables poly-3-hexylthiophene based transistors to operate with an on/off ratio in excess of 103 even after 100 days of continuous ambient air exposure.  相似文献
