The excellent chemical and physical properties of benzoxazine resins and the functionality of Schiff bases were combined in one compound's structure, creating newly designed benzoxazine derivatives that can form complexes with metals. The new type of benzoxazine monomer was synthesized via the ring-closure reaction of formaldehyde, aniline, and three newly designed Schiff bases. The presence of the Schiff base in the molecular structure of these novel benzoxazine monomers enables them to trap metals as the functional compounds, like Cu, from a solution. Thermally initiated polymerization occurs at a lower temperature by the formation of intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds between imine, oxazine, Schiff base hydroxyl groups, and the newly generated hydroxyl groups. The thermal behavior of the bisbenzoxazine monomers was investigated with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and differential scanning calorimetry, and then they were cured at 120, 180, and 230°C. According to the magnetic susceptibility, FTIR, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, TGA, and microwave plasma atomic emission spectroscopy results, it is shown that Cu(II) complexes of the compounds were also succesfully synthesized, and they proved to be successful in catching metal. This is due to the functionality of Schiff bases forming the metal complexation in the compounds. The poly(bisbenzoxazine)s also showed high limiting oxygen index (31–37), low ring-opening temperature (150–190°C), high char yield (35%–49%), and excellent thermal stability, due to the highly crosslinked nature of the polymers. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Identifying compromised accounts on online social networks that are used for phishing attacks or sending spam messages is still one of the most challenging problems of cyber security. In this research, the authors explore an artificial neural network‐based language model to differentiate the writing styles of different users on short text messages. In doing so, the aim is to be able to identify compromised user accounts. The results obtained indicate that one can learn the language model on one dataset and can generalize it to different datasets to identify users with high accuracy and low false alarm rates without any modification to the language model.  相似文献

Flexible and stretchable organic photovoltaics (OPVs) are promising as a power source for wearable devices with multifunctions ranging from sensing to locomotion. Achieving mechanical robustness and high power conversion efficiency for ultraflexible OPVs is essential for their successful application. However, it is challenging to simultaneously achieve these features by the difficulty to maintain stable performance under a microscale bending radius. Ultraflexible OPVs are proposed by employing a novel metal‐oxide‐free cathode that consists of a printed ultrathin metallic transparent electrode and an organic electron transport layer to achieve high electron‐collecting capabilities and mechanical robustness. In fact, the proposed ultraflexible OPV achieves a power conversion efficiency of 9.7% and durability with 74% efficiency retention after 500 cycles of deformation at 37% compression through buckling. The proposed approach can be applied to active layers with different morphologies, thus suggesting its universality and potential for high‐performance ultraflexible OPV devices.  相似文献

Foam image segmentation, represented by watershed algorithm, is wildly used in the extraction of bubble morphology features. H-minima transformation was proved to be effective in locating the catchment basins in the traditional watershed segmentation method. To further improve the accuracy of watershed segmentation, method of top-bottom-cap filters and method of morphological reconstruction were implied to marking the catchment basins. In this paper, instead of H-minima transformation, a method of contour lines is specially proposed to obtain the catchment basins for foam image segmentation by using top-bottom-cap filters and less morphological reconstruction. Experimental results in foam segmentation show that the proposed method is equally accurate but more efficient than the method of H-minima plus morphological reconstruction, and equally efficient but more accurate than the method of H-minima plus top-bottom-cap filters.  相似文献

Reflections of LED light cause unwanted noise effects called specular reflection (SR) on colonoscopic images. The aim of this study was to seek answers to the following two questions. (a) How are the texture features used in automatic detection of polyps affected by the interpolation on specular reflections? (b) If they are affected does it really affect the classification performance? In order to answer these questions, we used 610 colonoscopy images, and divided each image into tiles whose sizes were 32‐by‐32 pixels. From these tiles, we selected the ones without any specular reflection. We added different shape and size specular reflections cropped from real images onto the reflection‐free tiles. We then used the nearest neighbors, bilinear and bicubic interpolation techniques on the tiles on which SRs were added. On these tiles we extracted 116 texture features using 3 second‐order approaches, and 4 first‐order statistics. First, we used paired sample t test. Second, we performed automatic classification of polyps and background using random forest and k nearest neighbors (k‐NN) approaches using the texture features for different combinations of specular reflections added on the tiles from the polyp or background. The results showed that depending on the size of specular reflection, interpolation can cause a significant difference between the texture features that were coming from reflection‐free tiles and the same tiles on which interpolation was performed. In addition, we note that bicubic interpolation may be preferred to eliminate specular reflection when texture features are used for background and polyp discrimination.  相似文献

This article presents a newly circularly polarized (CP) antenna for V2X's dedicated short range communications applications. Its CP characteristic is enabled by a 70 Ω sequential phase feeding network and sequential rotation technique designed on top of the substrate. It has features of ≈90° phase difference in sequence between ports of S21 = 2.4°, S31 = ?87°, S41 = ?180°, and S51 = ?276°, resulting in a 2.19 dB axial ratio centered at 5.9 GHz. The length of the SP feeding network to each ports designed in the different form of meander lines are the key to control the generated phase at the center frequency It also contributes to the smaller final size of 0.59λ × 0.59λ. The proposed antenna operated from 5.850 to 5.925 GHz with a gain between 4 and 6 dBi. The gains are radiated in bidirectional mode due to the presence of the complimentary dipoles located on the opposite side of the substrate. These features indicate the suitability of the proposed antenna in compliance to the ITS‐G5 OBU V2X standard.  相似文献

Poly[acrylonitrile (AN)‐co‐divinylbenzene (DVB)‐co‐vinylbenzyl chloride (VBC)] terpolymers were synthesized by precipitation polymerization in the form of porous polymer microspheres. The poly(AN‐co‐DVB‐co‐VBC) polymers were then hypercrosslinked, via a Friedel‐Crafts reaction with FeCl3 in nitrobenzene, to provide a significant uplift in the specific surface areas of the polymers. FTIR spectra of the hypercrosslinked poly(AN‐co‐DVB‐co‐VBC)s showed that the chloromethyl groups derived from VBC were consumed by the Friedel‐Crafts reactions, which was consistent with successful hypercrosslinking. Hypercrosslinking installed a number of new, small pores into the polymers, as evidenced by a dramatic increase in the specific surface areas upon hypercrosslinking (from ~530 to 1080 m2 g?1). The hypercrosslinked polymers are very interesting for a range of applications, not least of all for solid‐phase extraction (SPE) work, where the convenient physical form of the polymers (beaded format), their low mean particle diameters, and narrow particle size distributions, as well as their high specific surface areas and polar character (arising from the AN residues), make them attractive candidates as SPE sorbents. In this regard, in a preliminary study one of the hypercrosslinked polymers was utilized as an SPE sorbent for the capture of the polar pharmaceutical diclofenac from a polar environment. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system, high value of peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is an operational problem that may cause non-linear distortion resulting in high bit error rate. Selected mapping (SLM) is a well known technique that shows good PAPR reduction capability but inflicts added computational overhead. In this paper, using Riemann sequence based SLM method, we applied reverse searching technique to find out low PAPR yielding phase sequences with significant reduction in computational complexity. Additionally, we explored side-information free transmission that achieves higher throughput but sacrifices PAPR reduction. Finally, to overcome this loss in PAPR reduction, we proposed application of Square-rooting companding technique over the output OFDM transmitted signal. Simulation results show that the proposed method is able to compensate the sacrifice in PAPR and achieved PAPR reduction of 8.9 dB with very low computational overhead.  相似文献

Mechanical instability and buckling characterization of vertically aligned single-crystal ZnO nanorods grown on different substrates including Si, SiC and sapphire (α-Al(2)O(3)) was done quantitatively by the nanoindentation technique. The nanorods were grown on these substrates by the vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) method. The critical load for the ZnO nanorods grown on the Si, SiC and Al(2)O(3) substrates was found to be 188, 205 and 130?μN, respectively. These observed critical loads were for nanorods with 280?nm diameters and 900?nm length using Si as a substrate, while the corresponding values were 330?nm, 3300?nm, and 780?nm, 3000?nm in the case of SiC and Al(2)O(3) substrates, respectively. The corresponding buckling energies calculated from the force displacement curves were 8.46 × 10(-12), 1.158 × 10(-11) and 1.092 × 10(-11)?J, respectively. Based on the Euler model for long nanorods and the J B Johnson model (which is an extension of the Euler model) for intermediate nanorods, the modulus of elasticity of a single rod was calculated for each sample. Finally, the critical buckling stress and strain were also calculated for all samples. We found that the buckling characteristic is strongly dependent on the quality, lattice mismatch and adhesion of the nanorods with the substrate.  相似文献
