U(Ⅳ)-U(Ⅵ)同位素交换反应动力学研究 Ⅰ.Fe~(2+)对U(Ⅳ)-U(Ⅵ)同位素交换反应的催化作用

一、前言由于U(IV)-U(VI)同位素交换体系具有相当大的同位素效应和很好的稳定性,并且容易实现两相回流,这对于分离U同位素的工业应用都是十分有利的。但是,U(IV)-U(VI)同位素交换反应速度非常慢,常温下H~+浓度为1.0—4.0 mol/l时,速度常数为1.0×10~(-4)l~2/mol·s。因此要用U(IV)-U(VI)交换体系浓缩铀同位素,必须研究U(IV)-U(VI)交换反应动力学,找到加快交换反应的方法。     

Utilization of Defatted Sesame Flour in Fermented Salami

Fermented salami was prepared containing 0, 9, 18 and 27% defatted sesame flour (DSF). Chemical and sensory analyses were performed on the products. Results indicated that DSF could be used at either the 9 or 18% level without detrimental effect upon sensory attributes but salami containing 27% DSF will have less desirable flavor.     

INHIBITION OF SHIKIMATE DEHYDROGENASE FROM HEART-OF-PALM (EUTERPE OLERACEA MART.)

Shikimate dehydrogenase (E.C.1.1.1.25), extracted from heart-of-palm, was purified by precipitation with ammonium sulphate and elution from columns of Sephadex G-25, and DEAE-Sephadex A-50. The enzyme was unstable and it was not possible to maintain the activity by the addition of cysteine and 2-mercaptoethanol to the buffer. The heart-of-palm contained two isoenzymes which were separated by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The enzyme was inhibited by metal ions and p-CMB. The p-CMB inhibition was reversed by cysteine. The shikimate dehydrogenase was competitively inhibited by protocatechuic acid (Ki 7.5 × 10^?4M), and Km values of 0.021 mM and 0.011 mM for shikimic acid and NADP⁺, respectively, were obtained at pH 9.5 in Tris-HCl-glycine buffer. The molecular weight determination was performed on Sephadex G-100 and the MW was estimated to be 50,000 daltons.

Linear-Linear Basis Functions for MLFMA Solutions of Magnetic-Field and Combined-Field Integral Equations

We present the linear-linear (LL) basis functions to improve the accuracy of the magnetic-field integral equation (MFIE) and the combined-field integral equation (CFIE) for three-dimensional electromagnetic scattering problems involving closed conductors. We consider the solutions of relatively large scattering problems by employing the multilevel fast multipole algorithm. Accuracy problems of MFIE and CFIE arising from their implementations with the conventional Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) basis functions can be mitigated by using the LL functions for discretization. This is achieved without increasing the computational requirements and with only minor modifications in the existing codes based on the RWG functions     

Non-specific antitumoral activity of staphylococcal enterotoxins

St. aureus enterotoxins A and B possess an antitumour effect. After intraperitoneal inoculation they decrease the size and in some cases prevent the development of the human hypernephroma in the cheek pouch of golden hamsters. The effect of enterotoxins may possibly consist in inducing the production of endogenous immune interferon which activates the host immune system and enhances the rejection of heterologous tumour cells.
