In this paper, a novel second-order voltage-mode filter with single input and six outputs employing inverting second-generation current conveyors (ICCIIs) is presented. This filter simultaneously realizes negative and positive gain lowpass, bandpass, and highpass filter responses, and does not require active and passive element matching. The new filter has low active and passive element sensitivities, and offers orthogonal control of the angular resonance frequency (ωo) and quality factor (Q).  相似文献

An active circuit suitable for realizing floating inductance, capacitance, FDNR and admittance converter depending on the selection of passive elements of the circuit is presented. The proposed circuit employs only two dual output second-generation current conveyors (DO-CCIIs) and does not require passive element matching. The proposed network has a grounded capacitor for the floating inductance and capacitance simulation. Frequency performance of the circuit is tested using SPICE.  相似文献

This paper analyses the three‐dimensional (3‐D) surface morphology of optic surface of unworn contact lenses (CLs) using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and wavelet transform. Refractive powers of all lens samples were 2.50 diopters. Topographic images were acquired in contact mode in air‐conditioned medium (35% RH, 23°C). Topographic measurements were taken over a 5 µm × 5 µm area with 512 pixel resolution. Resonance frequency of the tip was 65 kHz. The 3‐D surface morphology of CL unworn samples revealed (3‐D) micro‐textured surfaces that can be analyzed using (AFM) and wavelet transform. AFM and wavelet transform are accurate and sensitive tools that may assist CL manufacturers in developing CLs with optimal surface characteristics. Microsc. Res. In this study, new active elements called inverting current differencing buffered amplifier (ICDBA) and current‐controlled ICDBA (C‐ICDBA) are presented. Unlike current differencing buffered amplifier (CDBA), their voltage transfer ratio between the Z and W terminals are equal to minus one. Furthermore, CMOS implementations of the C‐ICDBA and current‐controlled CDBA (C‐CDBA) are shown. Moreover, a novel first‐order all‐pass filter is proposed to show advantages and new circuit producing capability of the ICDBA/C‐ICDBA. Lastly, an electronically tunable band‐pass filter is given as an application example using the presented all‐pass filter. Active devices such as current conveyors play an essential role on the performance of simulated inductances. The effects of second-generation current conveyor (CCII) non-idealities on the proposed and on the previously published inductances are investigated, in which lossless inductances are realized. CCIIs like all active devices have terminal current limitations that can not be exceeded. Thus, the values of the applied input current sources for the proposed and previously published inductances depending on the passive elements values and applied signal frequency impose restrictions on the input current of the inductor. Erkan Yuce was born in 1969 in Nigde, Turkey. He received the B.Sc. degree from Middle East Technical University and M.Sc. degree from Pamukkale University in 1994 and 1998 respectively, all in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is currently Research Assistant and a Ph.D. student at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Bogazici University. His current research interests include analog circuits, active filters, synthetic inductors, voltage-mode current-mode circuits. He is the author or co-author of about 4 papers published in scientific journals or conference proceedings Oguzhan Cicekogluwas born in 1963 in Istanbul, Turkey. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Bogazici University and the Ph.D. degree from Istanbul Technical University all in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1985, 1988 and 1996 respectively. He served as lecturer at the School of Advanced Vocational Studies Electronics Prog. of Bogazici University where he held various administrative positions between 1993 and 1999, and as part time lecturer at various institutions. He was with Biomedical Engineering Institute between 1999 and 2001. He is currently Associate Professor at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Bogazici University. His current research interests include analog circuits, active filters, analog signal processing applications and current-mode circuits. He is the author or co-author of about 150 papers published in scientific journals or conference proceedings. Oguzhan Cicekoglu is a member of the IEEE.  相似文献

In this study, a current-mode dual output low-pass and band-pass filter is presented using only six MOSFET transistors in its core. Transconductances and gate-to-source capacitances of the MOS transistors are employed instead of passive resistors and capacitors. The proposed circuit exhibits important features such as simplicity, low-voltage/power operation, reduced chip area and wide frequency range compared to classical analog circuits that require active elements with large number of transistors.
