Using the method of artificial immune systems to seek the suboptimal program control of deterministic systems

Determination of the suboptimal programmed control for the continuous deterministic systems by the use of the method of artificial immune systems for search of the conditional global extremum was proposed. An algorithm to solve it which underlies the corresponding software was generated, and a modification of the method was suggested to enhance its efficiency. Examples of solutions of the model problems were given, and the method of artificial immune systems was compared with its modification, as well as with other metaheuristic methods.

Efficiency of using filler materials in laser welding of high-strength aluminium–lithium alloys

Investigations were carried out into the special features of the formation of the structure and properties of laser welded joints in V-1461 and V-1469 aluminium–lithium alloys. The results show that the application of the filler materials of the Al–Cu systems alloyed with rare-earth metals improves the formation of the welded joint and decreases the probability of formation of defects. Complete heat treatment of the welded joints increases their strength characteristics to 0.9 of the strength of the parent material.

An application of genetic algorithms with binary and real coding for approximate synthesis of suboptimal control in deterministic systems

We propose a solution for the suboptimal control synthesis problem in deterministic systems with genetic algorithms that look for a conditional global extremum with binary and real coding. We construct an algorithm for solving this problem; this algorithm has been implemented in software. We show examples of specific applications and perform a comparison of these results with other methods; the comparison proves the efficiency of our algorithms.
