This paper deals with waveform analysis, crosstalk peak and delay estimation of CMOS gate driven capacitively and inductively coupled interconnects. Simultaneously switching inputs for the coupled interconnects are considered. A transmission line-based coupled model of interconnect is used for analysis. Alpha-power Law model of MOS transistor is used to represent the transistors in CMOS driver. Peaks and delays at far-end of victim line are estimated for conditions when the inputs to the two coupled interconnects are switching in-phase and out-of-phase. The comparison of analytically obtained results with SPICE simulations show that the proposed model captures noise peak and their timing; 90% propagation delay; transition time delay and waveform shape with good accuracy, such as not more than 5% error in crosstalk peak estimation. 相似文献

Here, novel nanoprobes for combined optical and magnetic resonance (MR) bioimaging are reported. Fluoride (NaYF4) nanocrystals (20–30 nm size) co‐doped with the rare earth ions Gd3+ and Er3+/Yb3+/Eu3+ are synthesized and dispersed in water. An efficient up‐ and downconverted photoluminescence from the rare‐earth ions (Er3+ and Yb3+ or Eu3+) doped into fluoride nanomatrix allows optical imaging modality for the nanoprobes. Upconversion nanophosphors (UCNPs) show nearly quadratic dependence of the photoluminescence intensity on the excitation light power, confirming a two‐photon induced process and allowing two‐photon imaging with UCNPs with low power continuous wave laser diodes due to the sequential nature of the two‐photon process. Furthermore, both UCNPs and downconversion nanophosphors (DCNPs) are modified with biorecognition biomolecules such as anti‐claudin‐4 and anti‐mesothelin, and show in vitro targeted delivery to cancer cells using confocal microscopy. The possibility of using nanoprobes for optical imaging in vivo is also demonstrated. It is also shown that Gd3+ co‐doped within the nanophosphors imparts strong T1 (Spin‐lattice relaxation time) and T2 (spin‐spin relaxation time) for high contrast MR imaging. Thus, nanoprobes based on fluoride nanophosphors doped with rare earth ions are shown to provide the dual modality of optical and magnetic resonance imaging. 相似文献

Effects of Rician faded and log-normal shadowed signals on spectrumefficiency in microcellular radio
An assessment of spectrum efficiency for a microcellular land mobile radio system is presented by considering the desired signal as (fast) Rician fading with (slow) log-normal shadowing and cochannel interfering signals as uncorrelated (fast) Rayleigh fading superimposed over (slow) log-normal shadowing. Spectrum efficiency is defined in terms of reuse distance, i.e., cluster size, traffic intensity, bandwidth of the system, and area of a cell by considering cochannel interference probability. The expression for cochannel interference probability is derived using appropriate path-loss law for microcells for four different cases: Rician plus log-normal desired signal and Rayleigh plus log-normal interfering signals; Rician desired signal and Rayleigh fading plus log-normal shadowing interfering signals; Rician desired signal and Rayleigh interfering signals; and both desired and interfering signals as Rician fading. An algorithm for multichannel autoregressive moving average (ARMA) modeling which uses scalar computations only and is well suited for parallel implementation is proposed. The given ARMA process is converted to an equivalent scalar, periodic ARMA process. A significant decrease in the degree of thermal stratification is demonstrated by improvising transverse wall ribs on the inner cylindrical surfaces of large liquid hydrogen storage tanks. The ribbed surfaces are modeled as fins and a conjugate transient heat transfer problem is formulated for predicting flow currents and heat transfer. Turbulent Rayleigh numbers between 1.2×1012 and 6×1016 are considered. A stratification parameter based on the moment of energy is defined to quantify the degree of stratification and this parameter is seen to be about 30% lower for the ribbed tanks. The degree of stratification is not sensitive to changes in the ratio of the rib height to the spacing between the ribs. The transient free convection is shown to be characterized by the parameter Fo×Ra0.15. The process of stratification takes place more slowly in the ribbed tanks than in smooth-walled tanks. The free convective heat transfer coefficient for tanks having ribbed surface is also seen to be significantly lower. Incorporation of ribs over the inner surface of the insulated tanks is demonstrated to offer a simple means of reducing the stratification and boil-off losses. 相似文献

Two efficient algorithms are described for the estimation of dynamic parameters in a tracer kinetic experiment, when a stochastic multicompartmental model is utilized. The first approach is based on the sensitivity method, where the error between the model output and the system output is minimized. Sensitivity functions are calculated and model outputs are simulated by the algorithm at each iteration in order to estimate the optimal values of the model parameters. The concept of a whitening filter is used in the second method to convert the colored output error into a white sequence: the algorithm minimizes the estimated variance of the filtered sequence. The posterior pole vasculature of 100 patients with different sickling haemoglobinopathies was studied prospectively over a period of three years.
