Laser Specular Reflectance and the Optical rms Roughness of Alumina

Using laser specular reflectance, the optical rms roughnesses (σ₀'S) of 42 polycrystalline aluminas (PCA's) were determined. From these conventional experimental results, a nomogram was constructed so that single grazing angle (α) measurements could be used to predict σ₀. Subsequently, the nomogram was reassessed using five commercially important PCA's and one single-crystal sapphire (SC). The outcomes were twofold: that this nomogram was valid for PCA's over the range of 0.28 σ₀ 0.10 μm, but that the nomogram was invalid for SC sapphire. When the conventional experimental method was compared with the nomogram method at three different single-angle values, a 1:1 correspondence was observed for α= 78°, 80°, and 82°. The present noncontact method is advocated for speed and cleanliness, particularly when a quality assurance method is desired.

Shape‐memory polyurethane/multiwalled carbon nanotube fibers

Shape‐memory polyurethane/multiwalled carbon nanotube (SMP–MWNT) composites with various multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWNT) contents were synthesized, and the corresponding SMP–MWNT fibers were prepared by melt spinning. The influence of the MWNT content on the spinnability, fracture morphology, thermal and mechanical properties, and shape‐memory behavior of the shape‐memory polymer was studied. The spinning ability of SMP–MWNTs decreased significantly with increasing MWNT content. When the MWNT content reached 8.0 wt %, the fibers could not be produced because of the poor rheological properties of the composites. The melt‐blending, extrusion, and melt‐spinning processes for the shape‐memory fiber (SMF), particularly at low MWNT contents, caused the nanotubes to distribute homogeneously and preferentially align along the drawing direction of the SMF. The crystallization in the SMF was promoted at low MWNT contents because it acted as a nucleation agent. At high MWNT contents, however, the crystallization was hindered because the movement of the polyurethane chains was restricted. The homogeneously distributed and aligned MWNTs preserved the SMF with high tenacity and initial modulus. The recovery ratio and recovery force were also improved because the MWNTs helped to store the internal elastic energy during stretching and fixing. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 语境在语言理解中的作用

语境在语言理解中起着重要作用,是语言交际的基础。结合具体例子,分析了语境在语言理解中具有消除歧义、转变语义、补充语言省略意义、帮助理解言外之意的作用。指出只有正确地把握语境,才能深入理解语言的真正含义。     

AADL 测试模型的构造研究

目前,结构分析和设计语言AADL在任务关键嵌入式系统领域有着良好的应用.为了保障任务关键软件的质量,文章提出基于AADL测试模型对AADL设计模型进行测试,以发现设计模型中存在的错误.研究给出了体现系统拓扑结构的AADL测试模型的形式定义及由AADL构造该测试模型的算法,基于该测试模型可以对AADL设计模型中构件交互的输入、输出端口序列和连接的正确性进行测试,并以飞行控制系统的AADL设计模型为例,阐释了研究成果.     

Behavior of the western pine beetle during host colonization

After living ponderosa pines were baited with either female-infested bolts or synthetic pheromones,Dendroctonus brevicomis were caught on sticky screens throughout trapping periods of 15–46 days; however, large numbers of beetles were trapped during only a small portion (5–10 days) of these trapping periods. The most attractive portions of trees attacked contained 3–6 beetles dm², in galleries ca. 2 cm long. Catch increased following addition of males to female-infested bolts, supporting the hypothesis that male-produced frontalin is an attractive pheromone of the western pine beetle. Catch at bolts removed from trees under attack was strongly dependent upon levels of boring activity. We found no evidence of interruption of the response to attractants during host colonization.Coleoptera: Scolytidae. 化纤精纺陶瓷磨擦盘的研制

本文在Mgo—Al_2O_3—SiO_2三元系高铝瓷配方的基础上,选用高纯活性α—Al_2O_3粉料,将MgO 等复合添加剂按一定成份和比例加入配料中以促进烧结,并改善材料的显微结构。采用一次造粒的干压成型工艺,在高温隧道窑中连续烧成,获得了批量产品性能一致的细晶陶瓷磨擦盘制品。     

化学铣切槽液中Na2S的分析

本文采用“碘量法”测定化铣液中的硫化钠，分析结果的准确度和精密度完全能够满足生产要求。
