Carbide-derived carbon (CDC) coatings with dimple (CDC@GSiC coating) and loosely dispersive particles structures (CDC@RBSiC coating) were prepared on two kinds of SiC substrates by using chlorination at 1,000 °C in a 5 vol.% Cl2–Ar gas. Microstructural effect makes the two CDC coatings exhibit different frictional behavior in ambient pressure and in vacuum. For the CDC@RBSiC coating, the friction coefficient was from 0.08 to 0.12 at ambient pressure and is sensitive to evacuation from ambient pressure to 103 Pa while it was as high as 0.42 up to a pressure of 10?4 Pa. Progressive evacuation does not vary the friction coefficient of the CDC@GSiC coating up to 10?3 Pa. The wear of the CDC@GSiC coating was low with a maximum depth of 8 μm and much lower than that of the CDC@RBSiC coating (70 μm). The dimples on the surface and pores in the CDC@GSiC coating are reservoirs for ion liquid (IL), and the IL impregnated CDC@GSiC coating shows very low friction and wear at ambient pressure and in vacuum. 相似文献

Aberration corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) with high angle annular dark field (HAADF) imaging and the newly developed annular bright field (ABF) imaging are used to define a new guideline for the polarity determination of semiconductor nanowires (NWs) from binary compounds in two extreme cases: (i) when the dumbbell is formed with atoms of similar mass (GaAs) and (ii) in the case where one of the atoms is extremely light (N or O: ZnO and GaN/AlN). The theoretical fundaments of these procedures allow us to overcome the main challenge in the identification of dumbbell polarity. It resides in the separation and identification of the constituent atoms in the dumbbells. The proposed experimental via opens new routes for the fine characterization of nanostructures, e.g., in electronic and optoelectronic fields, where the polarity is crucial for the understanding of their physical properties (optical and electronic) as well as their growth mechanisms. 相似文献

Nanopores could potentially be used to perform single-molecule DNA sequencing at low cost and with high throughput. Although single base resolution and differentiation have been demonstrated with nanopores using ionic current measurements, direct sequencing has not been achieved because of the difficulties in recording very small (~pA) ionic currents at a bandwidth consistent with fast translocation speeds. Here, we show that solid-state nanopores can be combined with silicon nanowire field-effect transistors to create sensors in which detection is localized and self-aligned at the nanopore. Well-defined field-effect transistor signals associated with DNA translocation are recorded when an ionic strength gradient is imposed across the nanopores. Measurements and modelling show that field-effect transistor signals are generated by highly localized changes in the electrical potential during DNA translocation, and that nanowire-nanopore sensors could enable large-scale integration with a high intrinsic bandwidth. 相似文献

New preparation strategies for films that exhibit separation of emulsified oil/water mixtures through a simple, practical, and cost‐effective method are highly desirable. Herein a poly (vinylidene fluoride) membrane with superhydrophobic and superoleophilic surface had been successfully fabricated via a facile dip‐coating process. As‐prepared membrane exhibits good stability of wettability and can be applied for oil and water mixture separation.
