Vapor–liquid equilibrium data for the poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PV P)+NaH2PO4+H2O system have been determined experimentally using the improved isopiestic method at 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K. The effect of temperature on the vapor–liquid equilibrium has been studied and compared with that on the liquid–liquid equilibrium of the aqueous PV P+NaH2PO4 two-phase system. It was found that the slope of constant water activity lines and tie-lines increased with increasing the temperature. The results have been discussed on the basis of the effect of temperature on the hydrophobicity of the polymer. Furthermore, the segment-based local composition Wilson model has been used for the correlation of the experimental water activity data. The agreement between the correlation and the experimental data is good.  相似文献

Remote-sensing images taken from the Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) sensor with a spatial resolution of 30 m were applied for mapping and inventory of mangrove forest areas in Sundarbans, on both sides of the border between Bangladesh and India. Three different classification methods – unsupervised classification with k-means clustering, supervised classification using the maximum likelihood decision rule, and band-ratio supervised classification – were tested and compared in terms of the top of the atmosphere reflectance images. Spectral signature and principal component analyses were applied to select the appropriate band combinations prior to the band ratio–supervised classification. Our results show that the band ratio method is superior to the unsupervised or supervised classification methods considering the visual inspection, producer's and user's accuracy, as well as the overall accuracy of the all the classes in the image. The best discrimination of mangrove/nonmangrove boundary can be achieved when the combinations of B4/B2 (band 4/band 2), B5/B7, and B7/B4 are employed from the ETM+?bands.  相似文献

The thermally stimulated current (TSC) technique has been used to investigate molecular relaxation in poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) films unstretched and biaxially stretched at 90 and 95 °C. Unstretched PET films show two peaks at 77 and 90 °C corresponding to α and ρ relaxation processes, respectively. The α relaxation is associated with the main glass transition of the material. The ρ peak with lower intensity is attributable to permanent dipoles. Both biaxially stretched samples show one TSC peak at 95 °C, supposed to correspond to ρ relaxation. The disappearance of the α peak, accompanied by the displacement of the ρ peak to higher temperature, is the result of the higher thermal stability of the permanent dipoles, which is strongly influenced by the stiffening of amorphous parts and the crystallization by stretching. In both stretched samples, the continuous distribution of pre-exponential factors over activation energies observed might correspond to a single relaxation mode. The kinematics of stretching PET has been discussed in terms of activation energy and temperature dependence of relaxation time. © 1999 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

The voltage & current harmonics produced by nonlinear loads in power systems cause a reduction in power quality. In order to improve the power quality, active power filters (APFs) can be used. In this paper, a new control system for designing active filters despite nonlinear loads of electric arc furnaces (EAFs) is presented. The system is composed of three main parts: computation of reference currents, regulation of DC capacitor voltage, and production of firing pulses. In the first part, the active filter control system is presented based on the combination of the synchronous detection method and instantaneous power theory. In the second part, the DC capacitor voltage regulator is applied, producing a reference current and a proper voltage regulator is developed. For the third part of the control system, we use a PI controller to provide some conditions that follow the reference current in a complete cycle, and generate firing pulses by the hysteresis method. The proposed control system not only reduces the voltage and current harmonics in power systems but can also improve the power quality indices. The above design was implemented in the EAF system of the Mobarakeh steel complex (Isfahan, Iran). The simulation results show the effectiveness of the APFs in improving the power quality indices.  相似文献

C60 doping into conducting polymer with highly extended π-electron system in the main chain induces remarkable quenching of photoluminescence in conducting polymer and drastic enhancement of photoconductivity. These results can be explained in terms of photo-induced charge transfer between conducting polymer and C60. That is, photoexcited excitons or exciton-polarons on conducting polymer are effectively dissociated at C60 molecules transferring electrons to C60. Photoexcitation of C60 results in the transfer of hole from C60 to conducting polymer. These novel C60 doping effects have been observed not only in conducting polymers with non-degenerated ground state structures but also those with degenerated ground state structure such as di-substituted acetylene polymers with solitonic electronic systems.

Highly effective photo-induced charge transfer has been also observed in conducting polymer/C60 heterojunctions, which are interpreted as donor (D)-acceptor (A) photocell. Based on this finding we have demonstrated an organic photovoltaic cell with D-A double heterojunction, Al/C60/OEP/conducting polymer/TTO, in which OEP is octaethylporphine as an light absorbing antenna molecule. Novel characteristics have also been observed in various other junction devices utilizing C60 doped conducting polymer.

Granular and multiphase superconductivity has been found in C60-conducting polymer-alkali metal composites.

Effect of other type of fullerenes such as C70, modified C60 and C60 polymers, and also effect of C60 doping in polysilanes and their derivatives have also been studied.  相似文献

In this work, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to a general class of multi-point boundary value problems for a coupled system of fractional differential equations. The differential operator is taken in the Riemann–Liouville sense. By means of a fixed point theorem, existence results for the solutions are established. This paper provides an overview of the Malaysian Energy Efficiency regulatory framework as well as current financing and incentive mechanisms available to the building sector. The review has found that some of the existing financing schemes have been successful while others could leverage on other existing schemes to improve its effectiveness. The review will explore the strengths and gaps of the available schemes and will propose some ways to increase the uptake up rate of the schemes. The potential impact of the proposed recommendations will be discussed supported by projected energy and CO2 reductions.  相似文献

In this article, the influences of the metallic filler content upon the thermal degradability of polymer composites such as initial degradation temperature, maximum degradation temperature and char content have been critically reviewed using thermogravimetric analysis. Besides that, the review on the relationship between activation energies of polymer/metal composites, which was obtained from various degrade models, and the content of metallic fillers have also been defined. Other thermal properties such as glass transition temperature (Tg) and melting temperature (Tm) have also been reviewed based on the evaluation of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis.  相似文献

This study demonstrates a facile but efficient hydrothermal method for the direct synthesis of both carbonaceous silver (Ag@C core–shell) nanocables and carbonaceous nanotubes under mild conditions (<180 °C). The carbonaceous tubes can be formed by removal of the silver cores via an etching process under temperature control (60–140 °C). The structure and composition are characterized using various advanced microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. The pertinent variables such as temperature, reaction time, and surfactants that can affect the formation and growth of the nanocables and nanotubes are investigated and optimized. It is found that cetyltrimethylammonium bromide plays multiple roles in the formation of Ag@C nanocables and carbonaceous nanotubes including: a shape controller for metallic Ag wires and Ag@C cables, a source of Br? ions to form insoluble AgBr and then Ag crystals, an etching agent of silver cores to form carbonaceous tubes, and an inducer to refill silver particles into the carbonaceous tubes to form core–shell structures. The formation mechanism of carbonaceous silver nanostructures depending upon temperature is also discussed. Finally, the electrocatalytic performance of the as‐prepared Ag@C nanocables is assessed for the oxidation reduction reaction and found to be very active but much less costly than the commonly used platinum catalysts. The findings should be useful for designing and constructing carbonaceous‐metal nanostructures with potential applications in conductive materials, catalysts, and biosensors.  相似文献
