Pure and L-lysine added ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) crystals were grown in the 〈001〉 direction by Sankaranarayanan-Ramasamy (S-R) method. The grown crystals were characterized by X-Ray diffractometry (XRD), UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) and Vicker’s Microhardness analysis. XRD spectrum of each of the grown crystals proved its crystallinity. The crystals showed good transparency in the entire visible region. FT-IR spectra of the specimens revealed the presence of functional groups in them. The hardness of the pure and L-lysine added ADP crystals were measured and that of the added one was found higher. Meanwhile, it was found that the ADP crystals (pure and L-lysine added) grown by S-R method had higher hardness compared to ADP crystal grown by conventional method.  相似文献

Green nanocomposites of regenerated cellulose/exfoliated graphite nanosheets films with low nanofiller loadings were prepared using environmentally benign 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (BMIMCl) ionic liquid. X-ray diffraction revealed well developed intercalated nanocomposites. The tensile strength and Young's modulus of the prepared nanocomposites were increased by 97.5% and 172% respectively when 0.75 wt.% and 1 wt.% exfoliated graphite nanosheets were added. The results were validated using the Halpin–Tsai model. The exfoliated graphite nanosheets were unidirectionally aligned in the regenerated cellulose parallel to the surface of the nanocomposites as revealed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). Also, the TEM and FESEM revealed uniform dispersion of the exfoliated graphite nanosheets and good interaction between the nanofillers and the matrix. The addition of the exfoliated graphite nanosheets enhanced the thermal stability and reduced the water absorption and diffusivity of the nanocomposites.  相似文献

This research investigates a numerical simulation of swirling turbulent non-premixed combustion. The effects on the combustion characteristics are examined with three turbulence models: namely as the Reynolds stress model, spectral turbulence analysis and Re-Normalization Group. In addition, the P-1 and discrete ordinate (DO) models are used to simulate the radiative heat transfer in this model. The governing equations associated with the required boundary conditions are solved using the numerical model. The accuracy of this model is validated with the published experimental data and the comparison elucidates that there is a reasonable agreement between the obtained values from this model and the corresponding experimental quantities. Among different models proposed in this research, the Reynolds stress model with the Probability Density Function (PDF) approach is more accurate (nearly up to 50%) than other turbulent models for a swirling flow field. Regarding the effect of radiative heat transfer model, it is observed that the discrete ordinate model is more precise than the P-1 model in anticipating the experimental behavior. This model is able to simulate the subcritical nature of the isothermal flow as well as the size and shape of the internal recirculation induced by the swirl due to combustion.  相似文献

This paper presents management of groundwater resource using a Bayesian Decision Network (BDN). The Kordkooy region in North East of Iran has been selected as study area. The region has been sub-divided into three zones based on transmissivity (T) and electrical conductivity (EC) values. The BDN parameters: prior probabilities and Conditional Probability Tables - CPTs) have been identified for each of the three zones. Three groups of management scenarios have been developed based on the two decision variables including “Crop pattern” and “Domestic water demand” across the three zones of the study area: 1) status quo management for all three zones represent current conditions; 2) the effect of change in cropping pattern on management endpoints and 3) the effect of future increased domestic water demand on management endpoints. The outcomes arising from implementing each scenario have been predicted by use of the constructed BDN for each of the zones. Results reveal that probability of drawdown in groundwater levels of southern areas is relatively high compared with other zones. Groundwater withdrawal from northern and northwestern areas of the study area should be limited due to the groundwater quality problems associated with shallow groundwater of these two zones. The ability of the Bayesian Decision Network to take into account key uncertainties in natural resources and perform meaningful analysis in cases where there is not a vast amount of information and observed data available – and opportunities for enabling inputs for the analysis based partly on expert elicitation,emphasizes key advantages of this approach for groundwater management and addressing the groundwater related problems in a data-scarce area.  相似文献

An initial-boundary value problem that is Duffing’s oscillator with time varying coefficients will be studied. Using Banach’s fixed-point theorem, the existence of periodic solution of the equation will be predicted. The method applied in this paper is the Schauder second fixed point theorem, which includes the response of structures under vibratory force systems. As an example, the dynamics of nonlinear simply supported rectangular thin plate under influence of a relatively moving mass is studied. By expansion of the solution as a series of mode functions, the governing equations of motion are reduced to an ordinary differential equation for time development vibration amplitude, which is Duffing’s oscillator. Finally, a parametric study is developed, after that some numerical examples are solved, and the validity of the present analysis is clearly shown. The effects of La, Mg and Ca promoters on carbonaceous surface and bulk iron carbide species formed in the alkali promoted iron catalysts are studied under realistic Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) conditions. Compositions of bulk iron phase and phase transformations of carbonaceous species during pretreatment and FTS reaction were characterized using the temperature-programmed surface reaction with hydrogen (TPSR-H2) and XRD techniques. Many carbonaceous species on surface and bulk were qualitatively and quantitatively identified by combined TPSR-H2 and XRD spectra of the alkali promoted iron catalyst. These species, sorted by the their reactivity with H2 from high to low, were recognized as (a) adsorbed, atomic carbon; (b) amorphous, lightly polymerized hydrocarbon or carbon surface species; (c) bulk carbides and (d) disordered and moderately ordered graphitic surface carbons. The results revealed that while the surface basicity of the iron catalyst increased the CO dissociation proceeds faster than carbon hydrogenation. This phenomenon leads to excessive carbon deposition and formation of inactive iron carbide phases and graphitic type carbonaceous surface species, and consequently leads to catalyst deactivation.  相似文献

As the demand for more flexible, adaptable, extensible, and robust Web based enterprise application systems accelerates, adopting new software engineering methodologies and development strategies becomes critical. These strategies must support the construction of enterprise software systems that assemble highly flexible software components written at different times by various developers. Traditional software development strategies and engineering methodologies, which require development of software systems from scratch, fall short in this regard. Component based software engineering offers an attractive alternative for building Web based enterprise application systems. CBSE works by developing and evolving software from selected reusable software components, then assembling them within appropriate software architectures. By promoting the use of software components that commercial vendors or in-house developers build, the component based software development approach promises large scale software reuse  相似文献

In this study (1 − x) K0.48Na0.48Li0.04Nb0.96Ta0.04O3 − xSrTiO3 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10) ceramics were fabricated by sintering in microwave furnace for first time as well as in conventional furnace (either via single step or two-step procedures). Sintering behavior and piezoelectric properties of sintered samples were studied and compared. It was found that two-step sintering decreases sintering temperature effectively and enhances densification compared to single step sintering. Microstructure analysis revealed that, two-step sintering suppresses grain growth and promotes densification. On the other hand, microwave sintering enhanced densification more effectively and reduced sintering time and temperature. The maximum piezoelectric constants of ceramics were measured for those sintered in microwave furnace. Piezoelectric constant of the sample containing 1 mol% SrTiO3 which was sintered in microwave furnace was measured 310 pC N−1 while by sintering in conventional furnace via single and two-step sintering it was obtained 208 and 278 pC N−1, respectively.  相似文献

Conductive immiscible multiphase blends of PMMA/LDPE filled with carbon black (CB) were studied in this work. Thermo-electrical behavior of the blends was compared with the composites made up of individual polymers in the blend, PMMA and LDPE filled with CB. The conductivity of the immiscible binary blend at different CB content was followed and modeled using a model circuit in which resistors resembling different phases and the interface between them present in the blend. Electrical percolation threshold was measured for the blend and compared with the single component polymers in order to judge the preferred phase for CB distribution in it. Rheological network formation by CB particles in the blend was also studied using dynamic rheology. The effect of CB loading on the morphology of the multiphase blend was also studied using FESEM images. Theoretical models were also used to predict the percolation thresholds for electrical and rheological network formation and compared with the experimental values.  相似文献

High diagnostic sensitivity and specificity while maintaining the least dose to the patient is the ideal mammography. The objective of this work was to evaluate patient dose and image quality of mammograms to propose corrective actions. The image quality for 1242 patient in 7 mammography facilities in Tehran city was evaluated based on selected image quality criteria using a three-point scale. Clinical image quality, the entrance surface air kerma, the average glandular dose and optical density of films for standard PMMA phantom of 4.5 cm thickness were evaluated. The results showed that up to 72 % of mammograms were in good condition to be diagnosed, and only about 3.4 % of the images were unacceptable or with suboptimal quality. The entrance surface air kerma values were in the range of 3.8-10.5 mGy, average glandular dose 0.5-1.8 mGy and optical density of films 0.74-2.03. The image quality evaluation after correction actions, periodic image quality evaluation and using the correct equipment certainly will improve patient dose.  相似文献
