Parameter extraction of the five-parameter single-diode model of solar cells and modules from experimental data is a challenging problem. These parameters are evaluated from a set of nonlinear equations that cannot be solved analytically. On the other hand, a numerical solution of such equations needs a suitable initial guess to converge to a solution. This paper presents a new set of approximate analytical solutions for the parameters of a five-parameter single-diode model of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules. The proposed solutions provide a good initial point which guarantees numerical analysis convergence. The proposed technique needs only a few data from the PV current-voltage characteristics, i.e. open circuit voltage Voc, short circuit current Isc and maximum power point current and voltage Im; Vm making it a fast and low cost parameter determination technique. The accuracy of the presented theoretical I–V curves is verified by experimental data.  相似文献

The present paper strives for optimization of the cooling system of a liquid‐propellant engine (LPE). To this end, the new synthetic metamodel methodology utilizing the design of experiment method and the response surface method was developed and implemented as two effective means of designing, analyzing, and optimizing. The input variables, constraints, objective functions, and their surfaces were identified. Hence, the design and development strategy of combustion chamber and nozzle was clarified, and 64 different experiments were carried out on the RD‐161 propulsion system, of which 47 experiments were approved and compatible with the problem constraints. This engine used all three modes of cooling: the radiation cooling, the regenerative cooling, and the film cooling. The response surface curves were drawn and the related objective function equations were obtained. The analysis of variance results indicate that the developed synthetic model is capable to predict the responses adequately within the limits of input parameters. The three‐dimensional response surface curves and contour plots have been developed to find out the combined effects of input parameters on responses. In addition, the precision of the models was assessed and the output was interpreted and analyzed, which showed high accuracy. Therefore, the desirability function analysis has been applied to LPE's cooling system for multiobjective optimization to maximize the total heat transfer and minimize the cooling system pressure loss simultaneously. Finally, confirmatory tests have been conducted with the optimum parametric conditions to validate the optimization techniques. In conclusion, this methodology optimizes the LPE's cooling system, a 2% increase in the total heat transfer, and a 38% decrease in the pressure loss of the cooling system. These values are considerably large for the LPE design.  相似文献

In this paper, the multi carrier energy (MCE) systems are reviewed from different point of views including mathematical models, integrated components and technologies, uncertainty management, planning objectives, environmental pollution, resilience, and robustness. The basic of MCE systems is formed by combination of cooling, heating and power (CCHP). The natural gas and electricity are the main inputs to MCE systems and the cooling, heating, and electricity are the common outputs. The regular energy converters in the MCE systems are combined heat and power (CHP), gas boiler, absorption-electrical chillers, power to gas (P2G) and fuel-cell. Using metallic materials in automotive structures increases weight, fuel consumption and cost, therefore, certain trends have begun to use lightweight and cheaper materials. Fibre composites are used in automotive applications because they are stiff, lightweight and stronger than bulk material, as well as they have a comparable energy-absorbing capacity to that of metallic materials. The aim of this study is to investigate the potentials in natural ramie/bio-epoxy composite in crash energy absorption applications. Cubic specimens consisted of 12, 24 and 30 plies of ramie/bio-epoxy laminates with 50, 80 and 120 mm long which were prepared by hand layup method. Static axial compression load was then applied and the energy-absorbing capability of the ramie/epoxy composite was evaluated. The crashworthiness characteristics of the composite tubes were evaluated by measuring the average and peak crushing load, specific energy absorption, total absorbed energy and crush force efficiency in quasi-static axial compression. The failure mode and behaviour of the tubes were investigated by taking photographs and recording the load–displacement curves during the test accomplishment. The test results indicated that natural ramie/bio-epoxy composite tube has the great potential to be used as an effective energy-absorbing device.  相似文献

The silica- and alumina-supported Co–Zn catalysts were synthesized by thermal decomposition of new inorganic precursors [Co4.32Zn1.68(HCO2)18(C2H8N)6]/SiO2 or Al2O3. A novel coordination polymer formulated as [Co4.32Zn1.68(HCO2)18(C2H8N)6] (1) was prepared using the solvothermal technique and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-infrared spectroscopy. Thermal stability of the complex 1 was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry, and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Characterization of catalysts was carried out using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and BET specific surface area. The catalysts were evaluated for Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) in the temperature range 200–300 °C. The results revealed that the synthesized catalysts have higher selectivity to the desired products at 260 °C. The performance of the catalysts was compared to those of catalysts constructed via impregnation method and the fabricated catalysts show higher activity and selectivity than the reference catalysts.  相似文献

Telemedicine is a new area based on the information and communication technology for collecting, storing, organizing, retrieving and exchanging medical information. One of the most important applications of telemedicine is indeed telesurgery in which an efficient telecommunication infrastructure between the surgery room and remote surgeons need to be established. One of the most important issues to be tackled in telesurgery is to find favorable links for routing as well as providing high Quality of Service (QoS). In this paper, an efficient model based on the hybridization of Type‐2 Fuzzy System (T2FS) and Cuckoo Optimization Algorithm (COA) over the Software Defined Networks (SDN) is proposed in order to achieve optimal and reliable routes for telesurgery application. Using T2FS, the fitness of the links is determined; then, a COA is conducted over the Constraint Shortest Path (CSP) problem to find the best routes. Delay is considered as a CSP problem which is satisfied by trying to find the paths with minimum cost. Due to the NP‐completeness of the CSP problem, an Enhanced COA (so‐called E‐COA) is proposed and utilized as a metaheuristic solver. To the best of our knowledge, this paper is the first SDN‐based communication model that applies both T2FS and E‐COA for assigning proper costs to the network's links, and solves the consequence CSP problem according to the QoS requirement for telesurgery. The model also recognizes and preserves the second‐best routes in order to keep the reliability for such a critical application. In addition to the simulations, the performance evaluation is also conducted on a real experimental scenario. Many comparisons are carried out between the proposed model and other conventional methods, and the evaluation study shows the superiority of the proposed model on all the three QoS‐related metrics, i.e. average end‐to‐end delay, packet loss ratio and PSNR.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the problem of robotic cell scheduling with m machines with flexibility, load lock and swap assumptions. The robotic cell repetitively produces parts of identical types. We determine the cycle time of all 1-unit cycles in this type of robotic cell and present two new lower bounds for robot move cycles with load lock and swap, either there is flexibility or inflexibility. We also provide a new robot move cycle and prove that it dominates all classical robot move cycles considered in the existing literature of m-machine robotic cells.  相似文献
