Wall slip and melt-fracture of polystyrene melts in capillary flow   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We investigated slip and unstable flow phenomena of polystyrene melts in capillaries from the view of the effects of temperature and molecular weight by using three polystyrene samples with different molecular weights (Mw = 192,000, Mw = 258,000, and Mw = 321,000). The slip velocities are estimated by the Mooney method and the modified Mooney method. We found that the slip velocity increases and the critical slip stress above which a slip starts to occur decreases with the temperature. We also observed the melt-fracture at above a critical melt-fracture stress higher than . We found that the onset of melt fracture is affected by the extensional stress near the entry region to the capillary in the barrel and the melt-fracture tends to easily occur with increase of the molecular weight, but is not sensitive to the temperature.  相似文献

The gas-phase catalytic oxidation of benzene over copper supported on HZSM-5 added with titanium (Cu/Ti/HZSM-5) was carried out by using molecular oxygen as an oxidant. Phenol was effectively produced by the titanium addition to Cu/HZSM-5. The titanium addition to Cu/HZSM-5 induces the easy reduction of Cu2+ species to Cu+ species in the catalysts, and the produced Cu+ species seems to produce the phenol effectively.  相似文献

Abstract— The stability and reliability of oxide‐semiconductor TFTs were investigated. The contact material to the oxide semiconductor affected the thermal stability of the TFT, and a molybdenum‐contact source/drain showed good stability. And the passivating film and TFT structure affected the stability against bias stress and humidity stress, and dc‐sputtered Al2O3 passivation and fully covered channel structure with an etching stopper or source/drain showed good reliability. Moreover, high photo‐stability was confirmed by the bias‐enhanced photo‐irradiation stress test. An 11.7‐in.‐diagonal qHD AMOLED display was demonstrated to provide an applicable solution for a large‐sized OLED and an ultra‐high‐definition LCD‐TV mass production.  相似文献

The granulation of multi-component particles was conducted in a fast fluidized bed with an atomizing binder solution. The effects of gas velocity and binder droplet diameter on granulation rate, granule size distribution and granule composition were studied. The granulation rate and granule yield were determined by the balance between the agglomeration rate of feed particles and the disintegration rate of granules because there was no secondary granulation. With the increase in gas velocity and the reduction in binder droplet size, the agglomeration rate of feed particles decreased but the disintegration rate of granules increased, resulting in a reduced granule yield. Despite the larger fraction of small particles in the granules, the homogenous granulation of multi-component particles was achieved.  相似文献

Smooth CuLa0.98Eu0.02O2 thin film has successfully been prepared by pulsed laser deposition method at room temperature. Crystal structure of the obtained film was almost same as that of CuLa0.98Eu0.02O2 polycrystalline ceramic. Orange luminescence with high intensity due to 5D07F0,1 transitions of Eu3+, which was an evidence of Eu3+ substitution for La3+ site in LaO6 octahedra with the inversion symmetry, was also observed in the obtained film. The optical band gap of CuLa0.98Eu0.02O2 was measured to be 2.85 eV from absorption spectroscopy.  相似文献

We use the combination of nonequilibrium phonon and exciton luminescence techniques to study the spin dynamics in diluted magnetic semiconductor structures with (Cd,Mn)Te and (Cd,Mn)Se quantum dots (QDs). We show that the spin–lattice relaxation (SLR) of Mn ions in these structures differs strongly from the SLR in quantum wells. We explain the results by a model where SLR process in structures with QDs is modified by the spin diffusion on Mn ions from the QD to a wetting layer.  相似文献

A high-performance and high-reliability magnetically levitated (MAGLEV) superconducting magnet (SCM) was developed. Its heat generation per unit time by the electromagnetic forces due to the spatially fifth ripple magnetic fields from levitation coils is under 2 W at the frequency range in which vehicles are levitated. The vibration mode of inner vessels that makes the largest contribution to heat generation in SCMs is clarified, the torsion mode. A modeling method to analyze SCM vibration, which considers the effect of the bogie frames of a vehicle, is examined, and heat generation in SCMs is calculated from the vibration of the inner vessel. Using the numerical analysis method, new SCMs combined with new bogie frames for the Yamanashi Test Line are designed. Good performance in vibration and heat generation of these SCMs is predicted by numerical analysis  相似文献

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is robust against multi-path interference due to using a lot of low symbol rate sub-carriers. In order to mitigate the degradation due to multi-path interference, guard time interval (GI) is inserted into each OFDM symbol. However, redundant allocation to GI leads to loss of effective transmission power. We propose the Block-OFDM which can reduce the GI overhead ratio per frame compared with conventional OFDM. In Block-OFDM system frequency domain equalization (FDE) is carried out in order to remove multi-path interference. We evaluated Block-OFDM performance in a frequency selective fading channel and compared with that of conventional OFDM. Jinsong Duan received his B.E. and M.S. from Changsha Institute of Technology, China in 1987 and 1990. He received his Ph.D. from Osaka City University, Japan in 2000. From 2000–2003 he was with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, where he engaged in research and development of WCDMA systems. From 2003, he joined Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. His current interests include such mobile communication technologies as OFDM, MIMO, link adaptation, scheduling, and TDMA/FDMA/CDMA systems. Mitsuru Uesugi received his B.E. degree from Waseda University in 1986 and received his Ph.D degree from Tohoku University in 2004, respectively. He is a general manager in the Mobile Communication Technology Development Center of Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. Diesel exhaust particulates were extracted with benzene-ethanol (3:1, v/v) and separated into five fractions by silica-gel column chromatography. Direct-acting mutagenic activity was assayed by the Ames test using the Salmonella typhimurium YG1024 strain. The total activity of five fractions was about four times greater than that of the crude extract, suggesting that the activities in the fractions were suppressed in the crude extract. Strong activity was observed in fraction 4 which was eluted with dichloromethane (61.5% of the total activity) and fraction 5 which was eluted with ethanol (35.3%). Nitropolycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (NPAHs) were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography with chemiluminescence detection. They were found mainly in fraction 4, although one NPAH was in fraction 3 which was eluted with n-hexane-dichloromethane (3:1, v/v). Based on these results, 53.1% of the activity in fraction 4 was attributed to NPAHs. The contribution of 1-nitropyrene and 1,3-, 1,6- and 1,8-dinitropyrenes was great and that of the other NPAHs was small. The mutagenic compound in fraction 5 was not identified. Fractions 1 and 2, which were eluted with n-hexane, and fraction 3 suppressed the activity of fraction 4. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in fractions 2 and 3 were considered as possible suppressors of NPAHs.  相似文献
