Using a rigid-plastic finite element program deep drawing, direct and reverse redrawing of two layer aluminum-austenitic stainless steel (AL-ASS) laminated sheets have been simulated. The results of simulations as the variation of drawing ratios with thickness ratio and setting condition are presented. They show that to access the highest drawing ratios in direct and reverse redrawing, thickness ratio should be about 1/3 (one layer aluminum and three layer stainless steel) and the setting conditions are opposite to each other. In another word, while in direct redrawing contact of austenitic stainless steel with punch leads to the maximum drawing ratio, in reverse redrawing, aluminum should contact the punch in order to access highest drawing ratio. An explanation for this finding is offered through the thickness strain distribution.  相似文献

There are many practical situations where the underlying distribution of the quality characteristic either deviates from normality or it is unknown. In such cases, practitioners often make use of the nonparametric control charts. In this paper, a new nonparametric double exponentially weighted moving average control chart on the basis of the signed-rank statistic is proposed for monitoring the process location. Monte Carlo simulations are carried out to obtain the run length characteristics of the proposed chart. The performance comparison of the proposed chart with the existing parametric and nonparametric control charts is made by using various performance metrics of the run length distribution. The comparison showed the superiority of the suggested chart over its existing parametric and nonparametric counterparts. An illustrative example for the practical implementation of the proposed chart is also provided by using the industrial data set.  相似文献

The paper proposes an algorithm for multi-robot coordination and navigation in order to intercept a target at a long distance. For this purpose, a limit cycle based algorithm using a neural oscillator with phase differences is proposed. The state of target is unknown, under the assumption that it is stationary or in motion with constant unknown speed along a straight line. Using the proposed algorithm, a group of robots is intended to move towards the target in such a way that the robots surround it. While moving to the target, self-collision between the robots is avoided. Moreover, a collision avoidance with static obstacles as well as dynamic target is realized. The robots reach the target at a desired distance, keeping uniformly distributed angles around the target. The algorithm is further extended so that a static interception point for the target can be estimated in place of pursuing a dynamic target, which is referred to as a virtual target in this paper. In other words, the robots move towards the virtual target instead of the actual target. The robots ultimately encircle the actual target when they arrive at the virtual target. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation results.  相似文献

The exponential growth in the volume of digital image databases is making it increasingly difficult to retrieve relevant information from them. Efficient retrieval systems require distinctive features extracted from visually rich contents, represented semantically in a human perception-oriented manner. This paper presents an efficient framework to model image contents as an undirected attributed relational graph, exploiting color, texture, layout, and saliency information. The proposed method encodes salient features into this rich representative model without requiring any segmentation or clustering procedures, reducing the computational complexity. In addition, an efficient graph-matching procedure implemented on specialized hardware makes it more suitable for real-time retrieval applications. The proposed framework has been tested on three publicly available datasets, and the results prove its superiority in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency in comparison with other state-of-the-art schemes.  相似文献

Two hybrid coding systems utilizing a cascade of a unitary transformation and differential pulse code modulators (DPCM) systems are proposed. Both systems encode the transformed data by a bank of DPCM systems. The first system uses a one-dimensional transform of the data where the second one employs two-dimensional transformations. Theoretical results for Markov data and experimental results for a typical picture are presented for Hadamard, Fourier, cosine, slant, and the KarhunenLoeve transformations. The visual effects of channel error and also the impact of noisy channel on the performance of the hybrid system, measured in terms of the signal-to-noise ratio of the encoder, is examined and the performance of this system is compared to the performances of the two-dimensional DPCM and the standard two-dimensional transform encoders.  相似文献

In this paper, the technique of dual-edge phase-alignment and its effects on ring oscillators are presented. This technique provides resetting of the built-up jitter at both rising and falling edges of a clean aligning signal named as the reference. Using signals and systems theory, the effect of the technique on the spurs due to the aligning reference signal is completely analyzed. We show that adding properly the dual-edge aligning feature to phase-aligned ring oscillators cause the spurs in the neighborhood of the carrier to disappear. First, the validity of the results obtained from the derived analytical equations is verified through simulations using MATLAB. Then a complete circuit considering realistic models for its components is simulated in TSMC RF CMOS 0.18um process using ADS for further validation.  相似文献

The flux pinning characteristics of T l(B a 2?y M g y )C a 2 C u 3 O 10?δ(0.0≤y≤ 1.5) samples have been studied under the influence of various dc magnetic fields in the light of thermally activated flux flow model. It was observed form the magneto resistivity measurements that the activation energy U has been increased in the sample with Mg incorporation of y=0.5, however, it is decreased in the samples with higher Mg doping. This shows that lower Mg doping concentration promotes enhancement, whereas its higher concentration suppresses the flux pinning characteristics of Tl(Ba 2?yMg y )Ca 2Cu 3 O 10?δ (0.0 ≤y≤1.5) samples. The excess conductivity analysis of Tl(Ba 2?yMg y )Ca 2Cu 3 O 10?δ (0.0 ≤ y ≤ 1.5) samples has shown that the coherence length along the c-axis ξ c(0), the interlayer coupling J, the phase relaxation time of the carriers τ ? , and the Fermi velocity v F of the carriers are suppressed with Mg doping. However, the values of B c0(T), B c1(T), and J c(0) are enhanced which complement the magnetoresistivity analysis. These results showed that the flux pinning characteristics are enhanced for lower doping concentration of Mg at the charge reservoir layer sites.  相似文献
