The effect of zinc ions added to silica film on the electrical and structural properties of a silica/indium tin oxide two-layer film which had been prepared by solution coating for electromagnetic shielding of displays was studied. The volume resistivity of the undoped silica/indium tin oxide film was more than 3 times as high as that of the zinc-doped silica/indium tin oxide film. The addition of divalent cations, zinc ions, to the overcoated layer led volume resistivity of the two-layer film to decrease significantly and also caused a long-term increase in stability. The decrease in volume resistivity was due to the addition of zinc ions that changed the interface ionization and helped to enhance the electrical conductivity in the two-layer film.  相似文献

A new method of preparation of living cationic polymer of isobutyl vinyl ether via photoinduced polymerization in the presence of diphenyliodonium iodide (DPII, initiator) and zinc iodide in a mixed solvent of toluene/diethyl ether, which was irradiated at ?78°C for short period, was completed within 15 min. The reaction was allowed for further reaction in the dark until monomer was fully consumed. It was found that increase in the conversion of monomer to polymer during the irradiation is very limited. Confirmation of the linear dependence of number‐average molar mass of resulting polymer on % conversion together with the fact that polymerization proceeds until monomer consumption, and controllability of number‐average molar mass of resulting polymer, depending on the molar ratio of monomer and initiator, strongly suggests the living nature of this polymerization, unless reaction temperature becomes higher than 0°C, i.e., the absence of chain breaking process. The narrow molar mass distribution, whose polydispersity index values are less than 1.2, reveals that the rate of initiation where irradiation is usually completed within 15 min is much faster than that of propagation in cationic nature in this system. Effect of some major factors, such as solvent polarity and temperature, on the living nature of the polymerization was also investigated. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The ((Bi3.5La0.5)Ti3O12(BLT) thin-films used in this study were fabricated on a Pt(111)/SiO2/Si(100) substrate by a Liquid Source Misted Chemical Deposition (LSMCD) technique. X-ray diffraction patterns showed that the BLT films were crystallized and no other phases were observed when annealed above 650 ‡C. Grain size and remnant polarizations increased with increase in the annealing temperature, while leakage current densities decreased. The remnant polarizations (Pr) increased from 2.0 to 4.8 and 19.0 μC/cm2 with increase in the annealing temperature from 650 to 700 and 750 ‡C, respectively. The BLT films annealed at 700 ‡C in O2 showed a good fatigue resistance of reduced polarization by 10% after 109 switching cycles when 9 V of bipolar voltage was applied at a frequency of 40 kHz.  相似文献

Synthetic vision systems (SVS) render terrain features for pilots through cockpit displays using a GPS database and three‐dimensional graphical models. Enhanced vision systems (EVS) present infrared imagery of terrain using a forward‐looking sensor in the nose of an aircraft. The ultimate goal of SVS and EVS technologies is to support pilots in achieving safety under low‐visibility and night conditions comparable to clear, day conditions. This study assessed pilot performance and situation awareness (SA) effects of SVS and EVS imagery in an advanced head‐up display (HUD) during a simulated landing approach under instrument meteorological conditions. Videos of the landing with various HUD configurations were presented to eight pilots with a superimposed tracking task. The independent variables included four HUD feature configurations (baseline [no terrain imagery], SVS, EVS, and a combination of SVS and EVS), two visibility conditions, and four legs of the flight. Results indicated that SVS increased overall SA but degraded flight path control performance because of visual confusion with other display features. EVS increased flight path control accuracy but decreased system (aircraft) awareness because of visual distractions. The combination of SVS and EVS generated offsetting effects. Display configurations did not affect pilot spatial awareness. Flight performance was not different among phases of the approach, but levels and types of pilot SA did vary from leg to leg. These results are applicable to development of adaptive HUD features to support pilot performance. They support the use of multidimensional measures of SA for insight on pilot information processing with advanced aviation displays. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Porous carbon beads were prepared by carbonizing at 700 and 1000 °C under N2 (NN-series) or CO2 atmospheres (CO-series) and a subsequent oxidization with boiling nitric acid solution (13%, v/v) for 3 h (ANN- and ACO-series). BET surface area of both CO- and NN-series samples tends to increase with increasing carbonization temperature, but CO-series samples show higher BET surface areas (700 °C: 610 m2/g, 1000 °C: 780 m2/g) compared with those of NN-series samples (700 °C: 380 m2/g, 1000 °C: 580 m2/g). After acid oxidation, BET surface areas of NN-series samples increased from 580 to 650 m2/g, whereas those of CO-series samples decreased from 780 to 600 m2/g. On subsequent acid oxidation, acidic surface functional groups increased in both CO- and NN-series samples, but the CO-series samples tend to have much more acidic surface functional groups. Adsorption of halogenated methanes, such as tetra-, tri- and dichloromethanes, onto the samples of CO-, NN-, ACO- and ANN-series was thought to be driven initially by the basicity, but the acidic functional groups that could attract adsorbates via dipole-dipole interaction might hinder the adsorption of subsequently incoming adsorbates.  相似文献

This paper proposes a method of exploring the local shape of an unknown object using the force and torque information obtained from active touch. In the first, we present a method to estimate an unknown curvature, using rolling and sliding motion with a force/torque sensor attached to the fingertip of the hand. Then, the normal curvature equation from 2D curvatures is obtained. Finally we present a reconstruction algorithm of local geometry by using a normal curvature equation, which is composed of principal curvatures and principal directions. The method is tested by using a hand-arm system consisting of an industrial robot arm and an anthropomorphic robot hand with 6-axis force/torque sensor. The feasibility of the proposed method is experimentally validated for objects with simple geometries such as cylinder, spheres etc.  相似文献

This paper proposes a magnetic mechanical capsule robot which crawls in a fluid-filled tube. The developed capsule robot employs two locomotion mechanisms simultaneously. It has spiral ribs at both ends, which are rotated by a small on-board motor. Such rotating spiral structures generate a driving force of the capsule robot. We invented a magnetic mechanical mechanism to transfer the rotational motion of the frontal part into the linear motion of the middle part. Using this original mechanism, the linearly moving part at the middle of the capsule robot generates a supportive driving force. The improved mobility is evaluated in experiments. The developed capsule robot employing multiple locomotion mechanisms moves 44% faster than the spiral motion-based capsule robot. The developed magnetic mechanical mechanism and the mobile robotic platform could be used for pipe inspection robots or medical robots.  相似文献

We have measured leakage current in a silicon substrate-based nanopore membrane device immersed in an aqueous environment which typically shows the current level of few nA. This current level is compared with the measured current density (400 nA/cm2 at 1 V) from the pristine Si wafer (p-type, 1016/cm3 boron doping) indicating that the exposed Si surface in a nanopore membrane device acts as an electrochemical reaction site. The leakage current is drastically reduced from >10 nA to <100 pA at 1 V by the deposition of a dielectric layer to the Si-based nanopore membrane device. We also noted that the root-mean-square noise of the ionic current is also reduced from 38 to 28 pA in correlation with the reduction of leakage current, indicating that electrochemical reaction provides one of the major sources of noise.  相似文献

Layered Li0.7[M1/6Mn5/6]O2 (M=Li, Ni) was synthesized using a sol-gel method. P2-Na0.7[M1/6Mn5/6]O2 precursor was first synthesized by a sol-gel method, and then O2-Li0.7[M1/6Mn5/6]O2 was prepared by an ion exchange of Li for Na in P2-Na0.7[M1/6Mn5/6]O2 precursor. From charge/discharge curves, it was seen that Li0.7[Li1/6Mn5/6]O2 has two plateaus similar to those observed from a spinel structure, but Li0.7[Ni1/6Mn5/6]O2 holds a single plateau as observed from a typical layered structure. It was considered that Li0.7[Li1/6Mn5/6]O2 undergoes a phase transformation from layered to spinel structure during the charge/discharge cycle, but Li0.7[Ni1/6Mn5/6]O2 maintains O2-layered structure after the cycles. Li0.7[Ni1/6Mn5/6]O2 was higher in discharge capacity and retention rate than Li0.7[Li1/6Mn5/6]O2.  相似文献

A series of alginate‐derived polymeric surfactants (APSs) with a linear alkyl group (C8, C12, C16) was synthesized by oxidation followed by reductive amination of 2,3‐dialdehydic alginate. The products were characterized by measuring IR spectra, NMR spectra, surface tension and critical micelle concentration (cmc). They were also tested for the solubilization of azobenzene and adsorption of heavy metal. In the case of 40% CHO‐C8 APSs, the lowest interfacial tension value (31.5 m Nm?1) was obtained at the cmc value of 1.35 g dm?3. The dissolving capacity of 40% CHO‐C8 APS towards azobenzene was 27 times greater than that of alginate. The overall cobalt (Co2+) removal efficiency by adsorption using APSs was high compared with that of sodium alginate at pH 3, 5 and 7. Equilibrium aspects of cobalt adsorption onto 10% CHO‐APSs were studied, and the results show that APSs had high equilibrium capacities for cobalt uptake, 115.5 mgg?1. © 2002 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献
