Fatigue assessment of support structures for offshore wind energy converters. The structure of wind energy converters secures a reliable energy production. Hence an adequate reliability of the structure and additionally permanent assessment and maintenance is required. Within this paper methods for the assessment of the important damage mechanism fatigue in combination with monitoring of the fatigue reliability utilizing damage indicators are proposed. These methods comprise structural system, material degradation and probabilistic models as well as monitoring data of an offshore wind energy converter prototype. The structural reliability of the structure as designed is calculated based on an overall dynamic analysis using a SN‐approach. Herewith fatigue sensitive components are identified. Damage indicators for monitoring the fatigue reliability based on damage equivalent strains are presented.  相似文献

With the aim of developing a new approach to obtain improved aptamers, a cyclic thrombin-binding aptamer (TBA) analogue (cycTBA) has been prepared by exploiting a copper(I)-assisted azide–alkyne cycloaddition. The markedly increased serum resistance and exceptional thermal stability of the G-quadruplex versus TBA were associated with halved thrombin inhibition, which suggested that some flexibility in the TBA structure was necessary for protein recognition.  相似文献

Rotational molding allows the production of seamless, hollow parts with a high degree of design flexibility. Nevertheless, the process has limitations such as long cycle times as long holding times are necessary to produce components free of air inclusions. Within the scope of this article, an experimental setup was developed to evaluate the possibility and resulting effects of using vacuum in the rotational molding process. For this purpose, trials with different vacuum pressure levels and holding times were carried out and the resulting porosity and surface quality as well as the mechanical properties of the specimens were determined. The investigations showed that the use of vacuum allows a significant reduction in porosity even at low holding times, which can considerably reduce the cycle time of the process. However, the extent of possible time saving is limited by the requirement of a good surface quality, on which the vacuum application shows no effect. We have performed studies of the orientation distribution in <001>C textured, 0.03(Na1/2Bi1/2)TiO3 - 0.97[0.715Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)TiO3 - 0.285PbTiO3] (0.03NBT-0.97[PMN-28.5PT]) ceramics by a pole figure method, comparing the results to those for PMN-PT single crystal and polycrystal samples. The pole figures about the (001) zone are found to have monoclinic, Ma, phase for textured ceramics in the annealed condition and were similar to those for electrically poled single crystals. However, electrical poling of the textured ceramics resulted in a doublet splitting of the orientation distribution about the direction that defined the original grain texturing. Studies of pole figures about other high-symmetry zones also revealed the development of some degree of preferred orientation along the in-plane directions after poling. Our findings demonstrate that E-field induced phase transformation and domain textures superimpose with that of preferred grain orientations, giving rise to a unique texture symmetry for PMN-PT. The texture symmetry changes are driven by minimization of the elastic strain energy, and have an important effect upon the piezoelectric properties.  相似文献

The effects of reaction temperature and phase state on product formation were investigated by GC‐MS analysis. Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and other perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFCs) were measured in liver samples from 29 marine tucuxi dolphins from Rio de Janeiro state (RJ), Brazil. PFC measurement combined liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, using a CapLC system connected to a Quadrupole-LIT mass spectrometer. PFOS was the only PFC detected and it was so in all samples. PFOS concentrations (ng x g(-1) dw) of dolphins (n=23) from the highly contaminated Guanabara Bay (in RJ) varied between 43 and 2431 as well as between 76 and 427 from areas of RJ other than the quoted bay (n=6). Concentrations of three fetuses and one neonate varied between 664 and 1590. Fetus/mother ratios were calculated in two situations (2.75 and 2.62). It seems that mother-to-calf transference plays important role for relationships between PFOS and age. When a one-year-old male calf presenting 2431 ng x g(-1) dw was excluded from the test, significant correlations were observed between PFOS concentrations and both age and total length. Despite the placental transference, PFOS concentrations were not significantly lower in females than in males. PFOS levels in marine tucuxi dolphins from Guanabara Bay are among the highest detected to date in cetaceans, and this may represent a threat to the small population concerned.  相似文献

In this review we will describe the application of inulin for texture improvement in a variety of dairy applications as this is one of the most important application areas. The effects of inulin in these systems as a fat replacer, i.e. how it can be used to mimic the features of fat for mouthfeel and creaminess, and how these effects may be related to changes in rheology of the food system will be described for liquid, semi-solid and solid dairy products.  相似文献

Outdoor spectral measurements in sub‐Sahara, South Africa in particular have not been documented probably due to lack of data or lack of proper methodologies for quantifying the spectral effects on photovoltaic performance parameters. Crystalline‐Si modules are widely used for system designs in most cases based on the data provided from indoor measurements or from maritime northern hemispheric conditions. As a result of this, PV systems fail to deliver their intended maximum power output. In this study, a methodology for quantifying outdoor spectral effects of c‐Si modules commonly found in the African continent is presented. The results of three crystalline‐Si modules indicate that these modules are affected as the spectrum shifts during seasons although these devices are perceived (without outdoor data) that their performance is not influenced by the seasonal changes in outdoor spectrum. Direct writing is a unique means to align anisotropic particles for the fabrication of textured ceramics by templated grain growth (TGG). We show that alignment of tabular barium titanate (BT) template particles (20–40 μm width and 0.5–2 μm thickness) in a PIN-PMN-PT matrix powder (d50 = 280 nm) is significantly improved during direct writing using anisotropic nozzles at high printing rates. The particle orientation distribution in as-printed filaments, and the texture orientation distribution in sintered ceramic filaments are shown to directly correlate with COMSOL Multiphysics-predicted torque distributions for direct writing with aspect ratio 2, 3 and 5 oval nozzles. Electromechanical strain properties of the textured piezoelectric ceramics significantly improved relative to random ceramics when printed with anisotropic nozzles. Simulations of aspect ratio 20 nozzles and nozzles with interior baffles demonstrate significantly increased torque and near elimination of constant shear stress cores (i.e. plug flow).  相似文献
