Methods that do not involve use of an organic solvent are being considered for manufacturing environmental‐friendly pressure‐sensitive adhesive tapes. Among these methods, the hot‐melt method exhibits high productivity but is somewhat limited in terms of performance. Hot‐melt‐fabricated pressure‐sensitive adhesives require heating fluidization and cooling solidification, and it is extremely difficult to improve their heat resistance. We examine thermally processable pressure‐sensitive adhesives with a completely new structure, fabricated based on the thermal dissociation of the isocyanate dimer. This enables thermal processing of materials softened by thermal dissociation. Fabrication of crosslinkable pressure‐sensitive adhesive becomes possible through a reaction of isocyanate caused by dissociation of its dimer. It is found that improving thermal and solvent resistances, which are disadvantages associated with conventional hot‐melt pressure‐sensitive adhesives, is potentially possible with the pressure‐sensitive adhesive reported here. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Orientation anisotropy, which is well known in organic polymers with appropriate network structures, is less common in oxide glasses. We present the intermediate-range order in anisotropic alkali metaphosphate glass which consists of oriented PO4 tetrahedral chains and intervening alkali cations along the elongation direction. The X-ray total structure factor S(Q) indicates that the inter-chain spacing depends on the size of alkali cations and varies from 5.03 to 6.28 Å. The mixed alkali effect is primarily related to an increase of the separation. The total correlation function T(r) provides the first definite evidence that the anisotropic structure is composed of phosphorus-bridging oxygen bonds (P–OB) lying along the elongation direction and phosphorus-non-bridging oxygen bonds (P–OT) oriented perpendicular to the elongation direction. The present result unveils fundamental aspects of the anisotropic structure of an oxide glass and provides essential information for the development of oxide glasses to control structural anisotropy.  相似文献

Telomere length (TL) influences the development of lifestyle-related diseases, and neonatal TL may influence their prevalence. Various factors have been reported to affect neonatal TL. Although the fetus is exposed to multiple conditions in utero, the main factors affecting the shortening of neonatal TL are still not known. In this study, we sought to identify factors that influence fetal TL. A total of 578 mother-newborn pairs were included for TL analysis. TL was measured in genomic DNA extracted from cord blood samples using quantitative PCR. The clinical factors examined at enrollment included the following intrauterine environmental factors: maternal age, assisted reproductive technology (ART) used, body mass index (BMI), gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), maternal stress, smoking, alcohol consumption, preterm delivery, small-for-gestational-age, neonatal sex, and placental weight. Univariate and multivariate regression analyses were used to verify the relationship between neonatal TL and these clinical factors. The median neonatal TL to single-copy gene ratio was 1.0. Pregnancy with ART was among the 11 factors associated with shorter neonatal TL. From multiple regression analysis, we determined that neonatal TL was significantly shorter for pregnancies in the ART group than in the other groups. We conclude that pregnancy with ART is associated with shorter neonatal TL.  相似文献

Reforming of CH4 with CO2 proceeds at 400 °C over a catalyst consisting of ruthenium metal and CeO2 highly dispersed on mordenite. The catalyst, Ru-CeO2/MZ, is highly active for the reforming of CH4 under the conditions at which a carbon formation reaction is thermodynamically apt to take place. The reforming selectively forms H2 and CO. An increase in the weight of the catalyst resulting from carbon deposits was scarcely observed. IR spectra for the catalyst indicate that the reforming proceeds via the formation of the intermediate species such as Ru-CO and Ru-CHx on the surface of ruthenium. The data of H2 adsorption support the idea that ruthenium is highly dispersed in Ru-CeO2/MZ.  相似文献

Despite the structural similarities between cholesterol oxidasefrom Streptomyces and that from Brevibacterium, both enzymesexhibit different characteristics, such as catalytic activity,optimum pH and temperature. In attempts to define the molecularbasis of differences in catalytic activity or stability, substitutionsat six amino acid residues were introduced into cholesteroloxidase using site-directed mutagenesis of its gene. The aminoacid substitutions chosen were based on structural comparisonsof cholesterol oxidases from Streptomyces and Brevibacterium.Seven mutant enzymes were constructed with the following aminoacid substitutions: L117P, L119A, L119F, V145Q, Q286R, P357Nand S379T. All the mutant enzymes exhibited activity with theexception of that with the L117P mutation. The resulting V145Qmutant enzyme has low activities for all substrates examinedand the S379T mutant enzyme showed markedly altered substratespecificity compared with the wild-type enzyme. To evaluatethe role of V145 and S379 residues in the reaction, mutantswith two additional substitutions in V145 and four in S379 wereconstructed. The mutant enzymes created by the replacement ofV145 by Asp and Glu had much lower catalytic efficiency forcholesterol and pregnenolone as substrates than the wild-typeenzyme. From previous studies and this study, the V145 residueseems to be important for the stability and substrate bindingof the cholesterol oxidase. In contrast, the catalytic efficiencies(kcat/Km) of the S379T mutant enzyme for cholesterol and pregnenolonewere 1.8- and 6.0-fold higher, respectively, than those of thewild-type enzyme. The enhanced catalytic efficiency of the S379Tmutant enzyme for pregnenolone was due to a slightly high kcatvalue and a low Km value. These findings will provide severalideas for the design of more powerful enzymes that can be appliedto clinical determination of serum cholesterol levels and assterol probes.  相似文献

A high-quality single crystal of Pb((Zn1/3Nb2/3)0.91Ti0.09)O3 (PZNT 91/9), 40 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length, was successfully grown using the solution Bridgman method with a slight excess amount of ZnO. High-quality wafers were sliced from the light-brown single crystal. No PbO inclusions or opaque areas were observed in the transparent wafers. An array probe for echocardiography was constructed with the single-crystal wafer, and its superior performance was demonstrated.  相似文献

A novel silicon-containing polymer, SCMR (silylated clay minerals resist), has been developed for microlithography. SCMR was synthesized by reaction of the silicate sheet of chrysotile with dimethylvinylchlorosilane (DMVCS) and/or trimethylchlorosilane (TMCS). The structure of SCMR is estimated as a mixture of R1R2R3SiO, SiO3(OH), and SiO4 (R1, R2, R3: methyl or vinyl group). The silicon content of SCMR is 40–45 wt% and its O2-RIE resistance is 50 times as high as that of a novolak-based photoresist. SCMR has a high thermal stability and its profiles are not changed up to 300°C. SCMR is a negative working E-beam resist and has a high sensitivity, 2 µC/cm2, and a high resolution, 0.2-µm line and space. CMPR (clay minerals positive resist), consisting of SCMR and an acid generator, has been developed for a positive working E-beam resist. It has a high sensitivity, 0.2 µC/cm2.  相似文献

Silica-supported alkaline earth oxides revealed excellent activity to convert acetic acid selectively into acetone in a vapor-phase fixed-bed flow system. Acetone was obtained through the cyclic formation of alkaline earth acetate followed by decomposition. Magnesium oxide should be supported on the silica surface without formation of magnesium silicate, which was inactive for the present reaction. Attempted syntheses of benzophenone and acetophenone are also described.  相似文献

Thraustochytrids, marine protists whose dominant genera are Thraustochytrium and Schizochytrium, belong to the kingdom Chromista and are known as an industrial source of DHA. We describe here that thraustochytrid strain KH105, isolated as a DHA producer, also accumulates significant levels of β-carotene and xanthophylls including canthaxanthin and astaxanthin. A4-d cultivation using a medium composed of 10% glucose and less than 0.3% of nitrogen sources in a half-concentration of seawater gave an astaxanthin production up to 6.1 mg/L, and canthaxanthin content reached more than 10 mg/L under conditions where a higher concentration of nitrogen sources (6%) was employed. It might be advantageous in mass production systems for these carotenoids to be extracted readily by simply suspending the cells with organic solvents such as acetone and chloroform. Analyses on the morphological and life history features of the KH105 strain revealed that it belongs to the genus Schizochytrium. This particular species of thraustochytrids is thus considered to be a promising source of xanthophylls as well as DHA for use in the food industry.  相似文献

以夹竹桃科植物止泻木子的干燥种子为原材料,采用乙醇提取法对其生物碱类物质进行粗提取,通过硅胶柱层析和重结晶技术对生物碱粗提物进行分离和纯化。利用核磁共振波谱和质谱法对其一种生物碱单体进行化学结构和分子量鉴定。实验结果表明,用70%乙醇在60℃条件下静止浸取3次,每次提取6 h,得到止泻木子总生物碱提取物,其得率达到0.244%。经过硅胶柱分离和重结晶纯化,可获得3种生物碱单体。对HPLC检测纯度达到94.89%的2号生物碱单体进行核磁共振波谱和质谱检测,得知该生物碱单体是一个分子量为356.59的锥丝碱(conessine)。该结果有利于了解以止泻木子为主要成分的蒙药药剂作用机理。  相似文献
