A variety of wound healing platforms have been proposed to alleviate the hypoxic condition and/or to modulate the immune responses for the treatment of chronic wounds in diabetes. However, these platforms with the passive diffusion of therapeutic agents through the blood clot result in the relatively low delivery efficiency into the deep wound site. Here, a microalgae-based biohybrid microrobot for accelerated diabetic wound healing is developed. The biohybrid microrobot autonomously moves at velocity of 33.3 µm s−1 and generates oxygen for the alleviation of hypoxic condition. In addition, the microrobot efficiently bound with inflammatory chemokines of interleukin-8 (IL-8) and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) for modulating the immune responses. The enhanced penetration of microrobot is corroborated by measuring fibrin clots in biomimetic wound using microfluidic devices and the enhanced retention of microrobot is confirmed in the real wounded mouse skin tissue. After deposition on the chronic wound in diabetic mice without wound dressing, the wounds treated with microrobots are completely healed after 9 days with the significant decrease of inflammatory cytokines below 31% of the control level and the upregulated angiogenesis above 20 times of CD31+ cells. Crystalline zinc oxide particles of nanometre size (< 20 nm) particles were produced from a zinc acetate solution by using a filter expansion aerosol generator (FEAG). The FEAG is an aerosol generator that is operated at 60 torr reactor pressure and produces droplets of around 2 m. The shape of the particles produced by the FEAG were distinctively different from those produced by the ultrasonic spray source (USS). Results from scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD) indicated that crystalline zinc oxide particles of nanometre size were produced at 600 °C in 0.02 s residence time. Weight loss of these particles, determined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), was 3 wt%. Based on the morphology change as a function of the reactor temperature and solute concentration, we proposed that the nanometre particles were formed by uniform precipitation at the drying stage and decomposition followed by disintegration into nanometre particles. It was also shown that exothermic decomposition of the solute was not required for the disintegration of the primary particles in the FEAG process. This result opened up an opportunity for producing carbon-free nanometre particles from nitrate salts by using the FEAG. 相似文献

Abstract— A novel pixel design for vertical‐alignment LCDs with superior transmittance has been developed. The new liquid‐crystal mode, refered to as the hole‐induced vertical‐alignment mode (Hi‐VA), uses a via hole of an organic layer on a TFT substrate to achieve multi‐domain alignment. Compared to the conventional design, the Hi‐VA mode has a transmittance of up to 135% with a contrast ratio of 2000:1. Recently, Kang et al. proposed a new identity-based strong designated verifier signature scheme (ID-SDVS) and identity-based designated verifier proxy signature scheme (ID-DVPS). They claimed that their schemes are unforgeable. However, we found out that their schemes are universally forgeable in the sense that anyone can forge valid ID-SDVS and ID-DVPS on an arbitrary message without the knowledge of the secret key of either the signer or the designated verifier. Finally, we propose an improved ID-SDVS which is unforgeable. We give formal security proof of universal unforgeability of our scheme. We also give an improved ID-DVPS. 相似文献

By modeling mass transfer phenomena, we simulate solids and liquids dissolving or changing to other substances. We also deal with the very small‐scale phenomena that occur when a fluid spreads out at the interface of another fluid. We model the pressure at the interfaces between fluids with Darcy's Law and represent the viscous fingering phenomenon in which a fluid interface spreads out with a fractal‐like shape. We use hybrid grid‐based simulation and smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) to simulate intermolecular diffusion and attraction using particles at a computable scale. Abstract— Even though dyes have a fine resolution and good chromaticities, they are not widely used as coloring materials for color filters (CFs) due to their low thermal stability and chemical resistance. A series of azo‐dye derivatives, which consist of two cross‐linkable acrylate or methacrylate groups to improve thermal and chemical properties, have been synthesized and used to fabricate color filters. The spectral properties and chemical/thermal stabilities of the fabricated CFs were investigated by comparing dye‐based CFs, without a complicated dispersion process, but with pigment‐based CFs using dispersed pigment. Also, more properties including the development test and surface morphologies lithographic properties were studied. Key supplier-side factors that affect the usage level of mobile Internet were identified and the procedural mechanism among
the independent and dependent variables was investigated. For this, a research model was introduced to describe associations
among four external variables (access quality, service variety, cost rationality, and ease of use), an intermediate variable
(usefulness) and a dependent variable (the usage level of mobile Internet). Through the on-line survey, data were gathered
from actual mobile Internet users. Confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were applied to test the overall integrity
of the research model and of proposed hypotheses. All four external variables affected user perceptions on the usefulness
of mobile Internet. Among them, service variety and cost rationality had a relatively larger influence on perceived usefulness.
Perceived usefulness of the mobile Internet had a positive effect on its usage, confirming the important role of usefulness
as a significant mediator between the four external variables and the dependent variable. Meanwhile, the cost rationality
was the only external variable with direct influence on the MI usage. Theoretical and practical implications of the study

Robust design (RD) and tolerance design (TD) have received much attention from researchers and practitioners for more than two decades, and a number of methodologies for modeling and optimizing the RD and TD processes have been studied. However, there is ample room for improvement. Because most existing research considers RD and TD as separate research fields, the primary objective of this paper is to develop a sequential robust–tolerance design method to jointly determine the best factor settings and the closed-form solutions for the optimal specification limits. We then apply the proposed method to a destructive quality characteristic. Usage of frequency based error correction methods for repetitive disturbances becomes popular in data storage devices that use a rotating mechanical power plant. Two distinct disturbance cancellation methods, disturbance observer (DOB) and adaptive feed forward control (AFC) are the most popular approaches used for current drive servo integration. DOB reduces error using a predetermined function that is calculated thorough a complicated process. Generally the response to disturbance and initiation of control action of DOB is relatively fast even if the amount of error reduction is limited. Meanwhile the error elimination capability of AFC for the repetitive disturbance is normally better than DOB as it utilizes a Fourier coefficients updating feature that supports an enhanced fine adaptation of a certain frequency disturbance. Of course, AFC suffers for disturbances that have neighboring close frequencies due to the inherent fundamental frequency dependencies of AFC formulation. In the present work, an attempt for combining benefits of AFC and DOB is made. This might enables control action not only to generate fast response to disturbance but also perform an accurate error rejection. This feature also provides to the closed loop system a frequency selection for enabling a strategic selective error rejection.
