Hollow tin dioxide (SnO2) microspheres were synthesized by the simple heat treatment of a mixture composed of tin(IV ) tetrachloride pentahydrate (SnCl4·5H2O) and resorcinol–formaldehyde gel (RF gel). Because hollow structures were formed during the heat treatment, the pre‐formation of template and the adsorption of target precursor on template are unnecessary in the current method, leading to simplified synthetic procedures and facilitating mass production. Field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM) images showed 1.7–2.5 μm sized hollow spherical particles. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed that the produced spherical particles are composed of a hollow inner cavity and thin outer shell. When the hollow SnO2 microspheres were used as a lithium‐battery anode, they exhibited extraordinarily high discharge capacities and coulombic efficiency. The reported synthetic procedure is straightforward and inexpensive, and consequently can be readily adopted to produce large quantities of hollow SnO2 microspheres. This straightforward approach can be extended for the synthesis of other hollow microspheres including those obtained from ZrO2 and ZrO2/CeO2 solid solutions.  相似文献

Highly efficient bright green‐emitting Zn?Ag?In?S (ZAIS)/Zn?In?S (ZIS)/ZnS alloy core/inner‐shell/shell quantum dots (QDs) are synthesized using a multistep hot injection method with a highly concentrated zinc acetate dihydrate precursor. ZAIS/ZIS/ZnS QD growth is realized via five sequential steps: a core growth process, a two‐step alloying–shelling process, and a two‐step shelling process. To enhance the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), a ZIS inner‐shell is synthesized and added with a band gap located between the ZAIS alloy‐core and ZnS shell using a strong exothermic reaction. The synthesized ZAIS/ZIS/ZnS QDs shows a high PLQY of 87% with peak wavelength of 501 nm. Tripackage white down‐converted light‐emitting diodes (DC‐LEDs) are realized using an InGaN blue (B) LED, a green (G) ZAIS/ZIS/ZS QD‐based DC‐LED, and a red (R) Zn?Cu?In?S/ZnS QD‐based DC‐LED with correlated color temperature from 2700 to 10 000 K. The red, green, and blue tripackage white DC‐LEDs exhibit high luminous efficacy of 72 lm W?1 and excellent color qualities (color rendering index (CRI, Ra) = 95 and the special CRI for red (R9) = 93) at 2700 K.  相似文献

in this paper, simple 1-D and 2-D systolic array for realizing the discrete cosine transform (DCT) based on the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) fo an input sequence are presented. The proposed arrays are obtained by a simple modified DFT (MDFT) and an inverse DFT (IDFT) version of the Goertzel algorithm combined with Kung's approach. The 1-D array requiresN cells, one multiplier and takesN clock cycles to produce a completeN-point DCT. The 2-D array takes N clock cycles, faster than the 1-D array, but the area complexity is larger. A continuous flow of input data is allowed and no idle time is required between the input sequences.  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a way to improve the dispersion-limited reach of electroabsorption modulated lasers (EMLs). We generate continuous-phase frequency-shift keying/amplitude-shift keying (ASK) signals with the EML by applying a small current modulation to the laser diode (LD) on top of electroabsorption-modulated ASK signals. The amount of frequency deviation induced by the current modulation is adjusted to have the EML output signals experience /spl pi/ phase shift at every space. The experimental demonstration shows that with the proposed scheme we can increase the dispersion-limited transmission distance of the EML-based transmitter by 25%-75%, and it can be further improved by employing an LD with flat frequency-modulation response.  相似文献

A wireless sensor network typically consists of users, a sink, and a number of sensor nodes. The users may be remotely connected to a wireless sensor network and via legacy networks such as Internet or Satellite the remote users obtain data collected by the sink that is statically located at a border of the wireless sensor network. However, in practical sensor network applications, there might be two types of users: the traditional remote users and mobile users such as firefighters and soldiers. The mobile users may move around sensor fields and they communicate with the static sink only via the wireless sensor networks in order to obtain data like location information of victims in disaster areas. For supporting the mobile users, existing studies consider temporary structures. However, the temporary structures are constructed per each mobile user or each source nodes so that it causes large energy consumption of sensor nodes. Moreover, since some of them establish the source-based structure, sinks in them cannot gather collective information like mean temperature and object detection. In this paper, to effectively support both the remote users and the mobile users, we propose a novel service protocol relying on the typical wireless sensor network. In the protocol, multiple static sinks connect with legacy networks and divide a sensor field into the number of the multiple sinks. Through sharing queries and data via the legacy networks, the multiple static sinks provide high throughput through distributed data gathering and low latency through short-hops data delivery. Multiple static sinks deliver the aggregated data to the remote users via the legacy networks. In case of the mobile users, when a mobile user moves around, it receives the aggregated data from the nearest static sink. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol is more efficient in terms of energy consumption, data delivery ratio, and delay than the existing protocols.  相似文献

A heterogeneous network (HetNet) is a network topology composed by deploying multiple HetNets under the coverage of macro cells (MCs). It can improve network throughput, extend cell coverage, and offload network traffic; for example, the network traffic of a 5G mobile communications network. A HetNet involves a mix of radio technologies and various cell types working together seamlessly. In a HetNet, coordination between MCs and small cells (SCs) has a positive impact on the performance of the networks contained within, and consequently on the overall user experience. Therefore, to improve user‐perceived service quality, HetNets require high‐efficiency network protocols and enhanced radio technologies. In this paper, we introduce a 5G HetNet comprised of MCs and both fixed and mobile SCs (mSCs). The featured mSCs can be mounted on a car, bus, or train and have different characteristics to fixed SCs (fSCs). In this paper, we address the technical challenges related to mSCs. In addition, we analyze the network performance under two HetNet scenarios — MCs and fSCs, and MCs and mSCs.  相似文献

We propose a way to measure the absorber reflectivity at a low cost. Only one simple antenna with a small radiating aperture and a frequency‐domain instrument are utilized. The previously used equation for calculating the reflectivity of an absorber is inaccurate, and, therefore, a new equation is derived based on multiple reflection analysis and three test models. Notably, the reflection coefficient of the antenna is included in the derived equation. The accuracy of the proposed method is proven through simulation and measurements. It can be easily applied to a product examination by absorber manufacturers and customers owing to its advantages of simplicity, cost effectiveness, and non‐cutting examination.  相似文献

Speech enhancement algorithms play an important role in speech signal processing. Over the past several decades, many algorithms have been studied for speech enhancement. A speech enhancement algorithm uses a noise removal method and a statistical model filter to analyze the speech signal in the frequency domain. Spectral subtraction and Wiener filters have been used as representative algorithms. These algorithms have excellent speech enhancement performance, but suffer from deterioration in performance due to specific noise or low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environments. In addition, according to estimations of erroneous noise, a noise existing in a voice signal is maintained so that a spectrum corresponding to a voice signal is distorted, or a frame corresponding to a voice signal cannot be retrieved, and voice recognition performance deteriorates. The problem of deterioration in speech recognition performance arises from the difference between speech recognition and training model. We use silence-feature normalization model as a methodology to improve the recognition rate resulting from the difference in the noisy environments. Conventional silence-feature normalization has a problem in that the silent part of the energy increases, which affects recognition performance due to unclear boundaries categorizing the voice. In this study, we use the cepstrum feature of the noise signals in the silence-feature normalization model to improve the performance of silence-feature normalization in a signal with a low SNR by setting a reference value for voiced and unvoiced classification. As a result of recognition rate confirmation, the recognition rates improve in performance, compared with other methods.  相似文献
