The design of the J-type neutron flux distribution measurement system

This paper introduces the design of a J-type aeroball system that the tube penetrates the lateral wall of reactor pressurized vessel (RPV), then immediately goes down to the vessel bottom and then goes up through the lower core support plate into the reactor core. Some experimental results related to gas flowing within a thin tube are presented in the paper, such as the gas friction drag coefficient on the ball’s way and etc. From theoretical and experimental viewpoints, the feasibility of the system is proved in pneumatic holding-up and β measurement aspects. In order to ensure an enough ratio of signal to noise, the maximum distance between two measuring points in water reactors is given. The paper gives out the measuring number per two-assemblies width N_i=Int(n_i/2+0.51), which is the accuracy relation between the number of fuel assembly and the minimum one of measuring point to only reconstruct 2D neutron flux distribution completely by the measured data.

Ba2Zn2Fe12O22铁氧体和弛豫铁电体

采用陶瓷制备工艺成功制备了Ba2Zn2Fe12O22铁氧体和铁电性PMZNT的复合材料,并借助于TMA,XRD,SEM和VSM技术,对所制备复合材料的共烧特性、相组成、显微结构和磁性能进行了研究.结果表明,Ba2Zn2Fe12O22铁氧体和PMZNT的烧成收缩和烧成收缩率存在明显的差异复合材料由Ba2Zn2Fe12O22和PMZNT两相组成;复合材料具有良好的显微结构.复合材料呈现软磁铁氧体典型的磁滞回线.     

Cytokinin Confers Brown Planthopper Resistance by Elevating Jasmonic Acid Pathway in Rice

Plants have evolved a sophisticated defense system that employs various hormone pathways to defend against attacks by insect pests. Cytokinin (CK) plays an important role in plant growth and stress tolerance, but the role of CKs in plant–insect interaction remains largely unclear. Here, we report that CKs act as a positive regulator in rice resistance against brown planthopper (BPH), a devastating insect pest of rice. We found that BPH feeding promotes CK biosynthesis and signaling in rice. Exogenous application of CKs significantly increased the rice resistance to BPH. Increasing endogenous CKs by knocking out cytokinin oxidase/dehydrogenase (OsCKXs) led to enhanced resistance to BPH. Moreover, the levels of the plant hormone jasmonic acid (JA) and the expression of JA-responsive genes were elevated by CK treatment and in OsCKXs knockout plants. Furthermore, JA-deficient mutant og1 was more susceptible to BPH, and CK-induced BPH resistance was suppressed in og1. These results indicate that CK-mediated BPH resistance is JA-dependent. Our findings provide the direct evidence for the novel role of CK in promoting insect resistance, and demonstrate that CK-induced insect resistance is JA-dependent. These results provide important guidance for effective pest management strategies in the future.     

Maternal Prenatal Inflammation Increases Brain Damage Susceptibility of Lipopolysaccharide in Adult Rat Offspring via COX-2/PGD-2/DPs Pathway Activation

A growing body of research suggests that inflammatory insult contributes to the etiology of central nervous system diseases, such as depression, Alzheimer’s disease, and so forth. However, the effect of prenatal systemic inflammation exposure on offspring brain development and cerebral susceptibility to inflammatory insult remains unknown. In this study, we utilized the prenatal inflammatory insult model in vivo and the neuronal damage model in vitro. The results obtained show that prenatal maternal inflammation exacerbates LPS-induced memory impairment, neuronal necrosis, brain inflammatory response, and significantly increases protein expressions of COX-2, DP2, APP, and Aβ, while obviously decreasing that of DP1 and the exploratory behaviors of offspring rats. Meloxicam significantly inhibited memory impairment, neuronal necrosis, oxidative stress, and inflammatory response, and down-regulated the expressions of APP, Aβ, COX-2, and DP2, whereas significantly increased exploring behaviors and the expression of DP1 in vivo. Collectively, these findings suggested that maternal inflammation could cause offspring suffering from inflammatory and behavioral disorders and increase the susceptibility of offspring to cerebral pathological factors, accompanied by COX-2/PGD-2/DPs pathway activation, which could be ameliorated significantly by COX-2 inhibitor meloxicam treatment.     

振动功率流方法诊断梁的损伤

利用振动功率流方法对无限直梁在集中力作用下的损伤进行了诊断研究。损伤部位模拟为转动弹簧,利用断裂力学的有关理论得到其转动刚度。研究了梁在集中载荷作用下的弯曲波运动以及振动功率流的输入和传播,分析了振动功率流与破损位置及其特征尺寸的关系。首先从理论上研究了破损诊断的具体步骤,然后进行了实验研究,结果证明了理论分析的准确性和可靠性。
