The current research project has been devoted to isolating new low cost and eco-friendly phenolic compounds from fruit seeds, peels and vegetables to reduce the atmospheric pollution. Natural phenolic compounds were extracted from different fruit seeds and agriculture waste: P. armeniaca, P. persica, P. domestica and Triticum aesativum. The total phenolic content was quantified, and the maximum value (1 mL extract having 1,933 μg) was found in P. armeniaca seed extract. Phytochemical screening showed that P. armeniaca seeds contain higher amount of alkaloid, tannins, saponins and flavonoid. P. armeniaca seeds enhanced the biotransformation of reactive yellow dye up to 69.89% with maximum laccase (322.45 IU/mL) production. Biodegradation of reactive yellow was only 23.34% without natural redox mediator at sixth day of incubation. Use of P. armeniaca seed stimulators resulted in maximum laccase activity (894.4 IU/mL) with 99.5% rate of removal. UV-Vis, HPLC & FTIR analysis confirmed the transformation of parent dye into various new products. Phytotoxicity study indicated 0% germination index of Avena sativa seeds with reactive yellow, whereas 83% germination index having 100% seed germination while 83% root elongation with treated sample. Thus, the study revealed that the natural phenolic compounds could serve as high potential redox mediators for enhanced laccase-mediated decolorization of reactive yellow dye. 相似文献

Abstract Ensuring that work practice is compliant to regulations and industrial standards is an increasingly important issue in business systems. Whereas as an understanding of control objectives that stem from various legislative, standard and contractual sources may be found at strategic or tactical levels, an assessment of their effective adoption in operational practices is extremely hard. In this paper, we propose a method for assessing the level of compliance in business work practice. The method builds upon business process management platforms, and provides the ability to objectively measure the compliance distance of existing processes within the organization. The apparent average molar masses (Mw,app) and apparent average radii of gyration (Rg,app) of native tapioca starch and fractions were determined using asymmetrical flow field flow fractionation (AF4) coupled with multi‐angle light scattering and RI detectors (AF4/MALS/RI). AM‐type (Fraction A) and AP‐type (Fraction B) were chemically separated from native tapioca starch. Native tapioca starch and Fractions (A and B) were dissolved in 1 M KSCN using a high pressure microwave vessel. The effect of varying cross flow rates at a fixed channel flow rate upon the Mw,app and Rg,app distributions of native tapioca starch and Fractions (A and B) were investigated. The average Mw,app values for native tapioca starch, Fraction (A) and Fraction (B) were 59 × 106, 2.1 × 106 and 19 × 106 g/mol, respectively, with average Rg,app values of 165, 73 and 87 nm, respectively. Hydrodynamic properties of aqueous wx corn starch (native, un‐pregelatinised) dispersions treated in a dedicated single‐mode microwave reactor at temperatures ranging from 180 to 210°C were determined using asymmetrical flow field‐flow fractionation coupled with an RI detector. The dedicated microwave reactor enabled the fine control and monitoring of heating parameters (especially temperature) during the treatment. The translational diffusion co‐efficient and hydrodynamic radii (Rh) values determined for wx corn starch treated at 180 and 200°C indicate that the majority of the material (∼98%) consisted of highly mobile, small and compact molecules/particles, with Rh values ranging from 10 to 90 nm, while the remaining ∼2% of the material consisted of considerably larger molecules/particles Rh values ranging from ∼100 to ∼200 nm). ABSTRACT In the last decade, with the expansion of organizational scope and the tendency for outsourcing, there has been an increasing need for Business Process Integration (BPI), understood as the sharing of data and applications among business processes. The research efforts and development paths in BPI pursued by many academic groups and system vendors, targeting heterogeneous system integration, continue to face several conceptual and technological challenges. This article begins with a brief review of major approaches and emerging standards to address BPI. Further, we introduce a rule-driven messaging approach to BPI, which is based on the harmonization of messages in order to compose a new, often cross-organizational process. We will then introduce the design of a temporal first order language (Harmonized Messaging Calculus) that provides the formal foundation for general rules governing the business process execution. We prepared and then blended polyurethanes (PUs) with poly(methyl methacrylate)s (PMMAs) and TiO2 by varying the percentage compositions to form pellets. The chemistry of all of the blended samples was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The incorporation of TiO2 into the PU–PMMA matrix was confirmed with scanning electron microscopy analysis. Differential scanning calorimetry analysis and compression testing was performed, and the results are discussed. The cytotoxicity level of the prepared blends displayed dependence on the composition ratio of the PU–PMMA blends. In this study we have discussed pollen morphology of 14 mimosaceous species belonging to five genera by using light microscopy (LM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The palynological features of species were determined by both qualitative and quantitative characters. The qualitative characters include pollen shape, colpi arrangement, and exine sculpturing. Oblate spheroidal shaped pollens were noted in Albizia procera, Albizia lebbeck, Acacia tortilis, Acacia ampliceps, and Acacia modesta, subprolate shaped pollen in Leucaena leucocephala, Prosopis julifera, and Acacia nilotica, prolate pollen in Acacia farnesiana and Prosopis glandulosa while spheroidal, sub spheroidal and sub oblate pollen grains were observed in Acacia catechu, Mimosa himalayana, Prosopis cineraria, respectively. Sparsely foveolate, reticulate, scabrate, and scrobiclate exine sculpturing were observed. Colpi with sunken ornamentation were seen in P. cineraria, P. glandulosa, P. juliflora, and L. leucocephala while colpi were absent in rest of the studied species. The quantitative characters were statistically studied using SPSS software. The current study gives important morpho‐palynological characters for identifying and validation of close related and similar taxa which will aid to the phylogenetic analysis of Mimosaceae family. 相似文献

The risk of accidental bromine (Br2) exposure to the public has increased due to its enhanced industrial use. Inhaled Br2 damages the lungs and the heart; however, adverse effects on the brain are unknown. In this study, we examined the neurological effects of inhaled Br2 in Sprague Dawley rats. Rats were exposed to Br2 (600 ppm for 45 min) and transferred to room air and cage behavior, and levels of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in plasma were examined at various time intervals. Bromine exposure resulted in abnormal cage behavior such as head hitting, biting and aggression, hypervigilance, and hyperactivity. An increase in plasma GFAP and brain 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE) content also was observed in the exposed animals. Acute and delayed sympathetic nervous system activation was also evaluated by assessing the expression of catecholamine biosynthesizing enzymes, tryptophan hydroxylase (TrpH1 and TrpH2), and tyrosine hydroxylase (TyrH), along with an assessment of catecholamines and their metabolites. TyrH was found to be increased in a time-dependent manner. TrpH1 and TrpH2 were significantly decreased upon Br2 exposure in the brainstem. The neurotransmitter content evaluation indicated an increase in 5-HT and dopamine at early timepoints after exposure; however, other metabolites were not significantly altered. Taken together, our results predict brain damage and autonomic dysfunction upon Br2 exposure. 相似文献
